In total this past week alone, Governor Whitmer has banned packaged seeds, tiling, carpet, flooring… And US flags.

But 'ya know, she seems nice and mentally balanced. She meets all the qualifications for membership in the party of Liberal Lunatics.

CNN: Colby Cave of NHL's Edmonton Oilers dies at 25. 

NHL center Colby Cave, who played for the Edmonton Oilers and the Boston Bruins, has died. He was 25.

The Edmonton Oilers and Cave's family announced the news on Saturday morning. He passed away days after doctors at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto operated to remove a colloid cyst putting pressure on his brain, according to NHL.com.

He had been in a medically induced coma since suffering a brain bleed overnight Monday, his team said.

The rest of the hockey world is also mourning Cave's death, with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman calling him "an earnest and hardworking player" and "a warm and generous person."

ESPN (April 7, 2020): Oilers' Colby Cave has emergency brain surgery to remove cyst.

Edmonton Oilers forward Colby Cave underwent emergency surgery Tuesday, during which doctors removed a colloid cyst that was causing pressure on his brain, the team announced.

Cave, 25, was admitted to the critical care unit at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto after suffering a brain bleed overnight. He remains in a medically induced coma.

Cave's wife, Emily, said earlier on Instagram that doctors were "fighting to keep him alive'' in surgery. She called Monday and Tuesday the worst days of her life.

Who will be breaking the law on Easter? Be Rebellious!

We are breaking so many Covid-19 laws, ordinances and regulations tomorrow. Somewhere, in an undisclosed, semi-rural area southwest of the Twin Cities - or is that northeast? (feel free to track us, Google) - about 40 of us will be getting together for the day. This was planned over a month ago and we're going ahead with it.

There are a few, newer caveats implemented. Everyone agreed that anyone not feeling well, no matter how slight, won't attend.

A decontamination station will be at the home entrance, with hot soap and water, disinfectant, sanitizer, Clorox wipes (yes, someone actually scored some of those!), thermal temperature scans for the kiddies, three big kick-ass RAM extended-cabs will be blocking off the private driveway and me and two of my nephews will be guarding the gate with our AR-15s and other various firearms, including revolvers that we're likely to frequently twirl on our index fingers like cowboys.

Cousin Cletus is our designated sniper. He's also responsible for supplying the Tupperware of Spleef and in his possession at all times, he holds the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

This is the first time in my memory that restaurants won't be open for Easter buffets. An impact that is all too painfully harsh both economically and socially.

That places of worship are closed is truly sad. I've heard in the news some are holding services while people remain in their cars in the parking lot and I think that's an acceptable workaround - considering the circumstances - rather than indoor mass.

What are your plans for Easter? Family gathering? Small or reduced number of guests from past years? Isolation? Going on a cruise, maybe?

Police tell nudists they must wear face masks.

CNN Travel: Czech nudists told to wear face masks by police.

Face masks aren't mandatory everywhere, but strict rules on wearing them have been enforced in the Czech Republic -- even for nudists.

The European country has begun to relax restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus, but at the height of concerns late last month, police were called in to remind people that while it was OK to get naked in designated public places, mouths needed to be covered.

Czech law enforcers issued a warning after officers were called out on March 27 in the small town of Lázně Bohdaneč, east of Prague, because of complaints about maskless naturists basking in warm weather.

"Unfortunately, many of the sunbathing citizens were gathered in large groups, and some were not wearing face masks.," a police statement said. "Upon the arrival of the police, everyone agreed to respect the government regulation [that face shields are compulsory outside the home].

"Citizens are allowed to be without clothes in designated locations, but they still must cover their mouths, and only gather in appropriate numbers."

“I want people back to work as bad as anyone,” but decisions have to be driven by evidence and expert guidance, Walz told reporters minutes after (Republican) Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka took to Twitter to rip the extended stay-home order.

“I'm tired of this. I’m frustrated by this. My heart breaks for the people who are worried about their economic well-being,” Walz added.

...minutes before Walz’s briefing was set to begin on Thursday, Gazelka wrote on Twitter: “I do not approve of the governor’s unilateral decision to continue the order to shelter at home until May 4. We have to get on with our lives.”

Gazelka questioned the Walz team’s projections of needing to prepare for as many as 5,000 intensive care cases eventually. “Why shut MN business down for a NY sized surge?” he wrote.

Walz's heart doesn't "break for the people."

He's been in office a little over one year. What's he done for the people of the state? Nothing.

What has Walz done? Two things:

1) He sucks up all the oxygen around every television camera and microphone that exists, endlessly appearing in the media to promote his Liberal agenda with  long-winded, repetitious and redundant nebulous platitudes.

2) Bullied Twin Cities Public Television into destroying incriminating and embarrassing video of his unqualified wife Gwen speaking about issues on which she is completely clueless and uninformed.

Walz actually makes me miss our former inept governor, Richie Rich.

Walz: "Raise taxes, tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend." And of course, "Bring in the refugees."

Walz will likely run for re-election in three years and win. Why? Because Minnesota Democrats have less cognitive abilities than sawdust.

CBS Caught Faking Their News - Again!

Far-left CBS has been caught broadcasting misleading hospital footage for a second time during the coronavirus pandemic.

About two weeks ago, on March 22, CBS News used deceptively-edited footage the first time. Breitbart News reported then that “Far-left CBS News was caught red-handed using chaotic footage from an Italian hospital in a story about New York City hospitals.”

“It was an editing mistake. We took immediate steps to remove it from all platforms and shows,” CBS News explained unconvincingly at the time.

Over the weekend, CBS News again used this video to mislead its viewers, this time while talking about a Philadelphia hospital:

    After @CBSNews was called out for airing footage of a hospital in Italy and saying it was New York, they apologized and said it was an error.

    Less than a week later, they aired the same footage, this time when talking about Pennsylvania.

DEMS hold America hostage by blocking small business funding.

A $250 billion urgent request to shore up a depleting small business fund failed to pass the Senate Thursday after Democrats objected to the measure pushed by the White House and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

With lawmakers home and social distancing, McConnell sought to pass the cash infusion swiftly Thursday by unanimous consent with a skeleton group of senators, but Democrats blocked the effort because they want add-ons to help businesses in disadvantaged communities and an additional $250 billion in funds for other priorities.

The extra funding is being sought amid concerns that the original $350 billion program to help businesses stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic could run dry in the near future in the face of an enormous demand.

McConnell pleaded with Democrats to pass a measure that would change the funding for the program from $350 billion to $600 billion total in a "clean" emergency measure.

"My colleagues must not treat working Americans as political hostages. This does not have to be, nor should it be, contentious." McConnell said, adding that lawmakers can pass other COVID-19 legislation in the future.

"Please do not block emergency aid you do not even oppose, just because you want something more," McConnell implored.

Republicans are far from perfect - not by a long shot. But I do give them credit for understanding that politics must be set aside in these times in order to successfully preserve the stability of our country.

Cluck Schumer is doing the work in the Senate that Nancy Pelosi tells him to do. She says "jump" and Schumer says, "how high?" Schumer is Pelosi's puppet. Both are evil, America-hating Elitists who don't give a whit about providing assistance to the suffering, hard-working Americans and small businesses.

Not every business owner is a Wealthy Selfish Greedy Republican. There are many Liberals who own businesses. They are suffering economic hardships just like everyone else.

So I ask you, Liberal business owners - are you happy with your Democrat "leadership"? Your businesses are atrophying. Some will never reopen. Your house is burning and the DEMS are nitpicking which water source should be used to put out the flames. Are you happy about that?

Every single DEM needs to be booted out of office at the local, state and federal level this election. Voters need to make DEMS a muted minority party who have zero political power and influence.

Three livid bystanders heckled Mayor Bill de Blasio — demanding coronavirus tests and better healthcare — as he tried to speak to medical personnel outside Lincoln Hospital in The Bronx Wednesday.

“Yo, de Blasio; I need a test, de Blasio!,” shouted a young man from behind a fence outside Lincoln Hospital, about 40 feet from where the mayor was thanking members of the US Air Force, who were deployed to the public hospital to help treat coronavirus patients.

“I need a test brother. Some people right here need a test. Where they at? Seriously I see you addressing these people what about these homeless right here,” the man yelled, pointing to a crowd outside the hospital.

“All these people right here are sick. Ain’t nobody addressing them,” he screamed.

After several minutes, members of the mayor’s NYPD security detail escorted two of the hecklers inside the hospital, where De Blasio later met with the pair for half an hour.

“They had a very productive conversation where they discussed ideas about how to better involve the community and educate people on life-saving practices like social distancing,” City Hall press secretary Freddi Goldstein told The Post afterward.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot gets a haircut!

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot took guff Monday for getting a haircut only a week after scolding the Windy City for not shutting down “non-essential” businesses, including barbers and beauty salons.

The celebrated first openly gay mayor was pressed by the Chicago media over the haircut she got over the weekend. But Lightfoot insisted that since she is the “face of the city,” she deserves to be excused from the governor’s orders to shut down non-essential businesses as a measure to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus.

The vain mayor told the media:

    "I’m the public face of this city. I’m on national media and I’m out in the public eye.
    "I’m a person who, I take my personal hygiene very seriously. As I said, I felt like I needed to have a haircut. I’m not able to do that myself, so I got a haircut. You want to talk more about that?"

But the mayor is not exactly practicing what she has been preaching, because she has several times scolded those Chicagoans who have been seen out in public “unnecessarily.”

Last week, Lightfoot aimed at Chicagoans, who insisted on walking, biking, and jogging on the city’s famed lakefront.

“Congregating on our lakefront, to be blunt, is going to create a risk that is unacceptable and could lead to death. That is why we are taking these actions and going back and saying again: dear god, stay home, save lives,” she said after a city employee reportedly died from the virus.

Indeed, after shutting down Chicago’s lakefront, Lightfoot sent out squadrons of Chicago Police officers to stand sentry to prevent people from using the paths, sidewalks, and lakefront facilities.

Lightfoot even scolded the media for simply talking about her haircut fiasco.

“They have no business being in New York City,” the protester, William Talen, 69, shouted as six New York City Police Department officers, one of whom appeared to be carrying Talen’s rainbow flag, removed him from the park. “They are the virus.”

The 68-bed field hospital is run by Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical Christian humanitarian organization run by Franklin Graham, son of the late Rev. Billy Graham.

Samaritan’s Purse is working with the Mount Sinai Health System, a New York City hospital network, to address the overflow of patients due to the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement emailed to NBC News on Monday, a Mount Sinai spokesperson said all staff within its hospital system, including the Samaritan’s Purse field hospital, “will adhere” to Mount Sinai’s “principles and guidelines when it comes to not discriminating against patients or staff.”

Do farts spread the COVID-19 virus? Pants work just fine to cut off novel coronavirus transmission in farts, a Beijing district disease control center announced on Sunday.

In a lengthy and seemingly humorous yet serious article on its WeChat account, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of Tongzhou district in Beijing clarified that farts, normally, do not constitute another transmission route of COVID-19, unless someone takes a good and rather close sniff of gas from a pantless patient.

The findings made some worry that the virus is too "toxic" that farts could be a new transmission route.   

Some anxious individuals also called for mass production of N95 facial mask-like protection for their bottoms.

The Tongzhou district CDC said it had clearly done their homework before writing the article, and they cited a fart experiment carried out by Karl Kruszelnicki and Luke Tennent a couple of years ago. Their findings were published on discovermagazine.com with the conclusion that pants can effectively screen out germs.

That is to say, as long as everyone is wearing their pants, there is no need to be worried that passing gas would cause a micro biological contamination risk.

Someone needs to ask Dr. Fauci about Covid-19 being spread by farts. Do we need ass-masks or do we wear pants over our head?

The "humiliation robberies" have recently caused much consternation in Sweden. In Gothenburg, a criminal gang of youths forced their victim to kiss the gang leader's feet, while they filmed him. After that, they stomped on his face until he passed out.

In Stockholm, two 16-year-olds robbed, punched and kicked their 18-year old victim for hours. At the end of the ordeal, they took him behind a church where one of the perpetrators urinated on him while they called him names such as "fucking Swede". They then forced him to take his clothes of while laughing mockingly at him, the victim, only known as Liam, told Swedish TV. The two 16-year-olds filmed the incident and spread it on social media.

The parents of one of the perpetrators came to Sweden six years ago from an unspecified African country, according to Swedish TV, who interviewed them in February. The parents both work and said that their son lacks for nothing. The mother wore a hijab during the interview.

Although Swedish media rarely publish details of the ethnic origins of gang members, some media research has shown that gang members overwhelmingly are either foreign-born or children of immigrants. In 2017, the Swedish mainstream media outlet Expressen did a report about the 49 criminal networks in Stockholm. The report showed the networks consisted of between 500 and 700 gang members: 40.6% of the gang members that Expressen surveyed were foreign-born; 82.2% had two parents who were foreign-born. Their main country of origin was Iraq, followed by Bosnia, Lebanon, Somalia, Syria and Turkey.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is demanding the racial data of those contracting the novel coronavirus, contending that it is “critical to ensuring an equitable and just response to this crisis across the board.”

While the virus appears to be no respecter of persons, infecting more than one million people globally, Warren believes it is “critical” to have racial data to properly respond to the pandemic.

“Our health care system is rife with racial disparities. Racial data on coronavirus will be critical to ensuring an equitable and just response to this crisis across the board,” she wrote in a tweet, referencing an article from the Atlantic.

“But we don’t have that data—yet,” she added.

Maybe Liz should put her 9-year old trans child Cabinet member in charge of obtaining this information that she "demands".

Along with all those working in the medical field, those protecting the public (law enforcement, fire-fighters, first responders, etc), the truckers, delivery drivers, volunteers putting in time without pay to help others - say a prayer for those who protect our nation. All of these people are putting our lives ahead of their personal interests and their personal lives. We owe them BIG TIME.

Mask or No Mask? And no ice cream - WTF?

To mask or not? Good luck finding them retail. I haven't checked online. I hate online shopping and avoid it like the plague. The Boss is checking online, I guess.

...researcher, Jeremy Howard, pointed to findings in dozens of scientific papers that indicate even the most basic of masks can be an effective tool in reducing virus transmission. A simple mask can be made without sewing by tying together two layers of a cut-up cotton blend T-shirt and covering the face and nose with it, being sure to wash the covering after each use.

Jeremy Howard was also on Laura Ingraham's program tonight and a segment featuring DIY paper towel masks. Take two or three sheets of paper towel, keep folding it length-wise until narrow, staple the ends together including a rubber band being attached with a staple (or two). Unfold it, put rubber bands on your ears, cover your mouth and nose and there ya go, a disposable face mask.

A few days ago in one of the supermarkets - why, I don't know - the cheese aisle was virtually empty. Cheese? Cheese. Is this a precursor to some future cheese-hoarding-crowd mentality?

TP disappeared a while back, re-appeared and was scooped up like it was gold and now is being restocked and is usually available. Shelves of disinfectant, hand sanitizer, bleach or hydrogen peroxide are empty.

Haven't seen Vitamin C anywhere for well over a week. I think taking extra C is great, but I can't believe how it vanished so quickly, probably by many who until this moment, never believed in its benefits. Panic and frenzy sells; the Herd usually moves in predictable ways.

On the way home, I had to stop at a big-box store that sells groceries. The Mrs. called, asked me to buy her some vanilla ice cream. None to be found. WTF? The ice cream freezer aisle was virtually empty. The few actual ice creams available were oddball flavors like cotton candy and sprinkles, and I knew she didn't want that. I phone her, tell her no vanilla, she says to forget it. Being the Trophy Husband that I am, I went to another store that had ice cream in stock, (not a lot, but enough), and vanilla, so I brought some home.

What's the next commodity the public will enter into Frenzy Mode that will disappear off the shelves? I want to be ahead of the curve. Eye drops? OTC spray for jock itch? Green food dye # 3? Bac-Os?

One shortage I haven't yet seen anywhere is in the cereal aisles. So far, they've been fully stocked, everywhere. Go figure.

I'm conscience of not touching my face, keeping distance from the gen pop as much as possible (always have, too many idiots) and use hand-sanitizer. I'm not sold on wearing a mask. Are you? Any items out of stock that normally aren't (other than the usual TP, OTC cold medicine, etc). Ice cream?

BERLIN – A Venezuelan navy ship fired shots at a German-owned cruise ship on March 30 and rammed into the passenger vessel, leading to the sinking of the warship in the Caribbean.

The Iranian regime-allied Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro accused the captain of the RCGS RESOLUTE cruise ship of “terrorism and piracy" and sought to force the ship into a new direction on the high seas. The cruise ship, which had no passengers on board and was flying under a Portuguese flag, has a reinforced hull that enables it to sail through ice water.

“Shortly after mid-night, the cruise vessel was approached by an armed Venezuelan navy vessel, which via radio questioning the intentions of the RCGS RESOLUTE’s presence and gave the order to follow to Puerto Moreno on Isla De Margarita. As the RCGS RESOLUTE was sailing in international waters at that time, the Master wanted to reconfirm this particular request resulting into a serious deviation from the scheduled vessel’s route with the company DPA.”

According to the statement, “While the Master was in contact with the head office, gun shots were fired and, shortly thereafter, the navy vessel approached the starboard side at speed with an angle of 135° and purposely collided with the RCGS RESOLUTE. The navy vessel continued to ram the starboard bow in an apparent attempt to turn the ship’s head towards Venezuelan territorial waters.”

The cruise company said the RCGS RESOLUTE sustained minor damages, not affecting vessel’s seaworthiness, it occurs that the navy vessel suffered severe damages while making contact with the ice-strengthened bulbous bow of the ice-class expedition cruise vessel RCGS RESOLUTE and started to take water.”

Now we're advised to wear masks? Who's selling them?

CBS News: Should we be wearing masks?

I did notice an increase of people wearing a mask today than I did yesterday. Other than make one, which I could do, where are people buying these masks? Those that I saw weren't homemade.

Most were the usual surgical/dental-type white or blue PPE masks. A couple appeared to be the white N95.

I did see headlines where both Home DePot and Amazon stopped selling N95 masks to the public because of a shortage of them at hospitals.  So where are masks available? They had to be purchased retail, they didn't order them overnight. They must have stocked up weeks ago or they know someone. Do I have to talk to a friend now, to buy masks? WTF?

Pure and chaste Ilhan Omar wants flogging in the USA.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota quoted the Quran on Twitter, Wednesday, to suggest that those who accuse her of infidelity should be flogged.

Omar’s suggestion came after Twitter user Retawa Agnihotri quoted a passage of the Quran that condemns adulterers beneath one of congresswoman’s tweets. Omar responded with a Quranic verse of her own that directs the faithful to “flog” those who make false accusations of against “chaste women.”

    “And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever. They indeed are the Faasiqoon (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allaah)”

This exchange immediately drew significant criticism. Robby Starbuck, an accomplished music video producer and conservative political pundit chimed in, calling it “absolutely insane” that a “US Congresswoman encourages flogging those who are disobedient to Allah.”

Maajid Nawaz, the founder of a counter-extremism think tank also noted how “ISIS & other Islamists have only recently implemented such scripture with horrific results.”

“How appropriate do you [Omar] think it is for you to be publicly citing this passage advocating lashing other human beings, so publicly,” he asked.

Mohammad Tawhidi, also known as the Imam of Peace, weighed in, suggesting that it’s ironic how the congresswoman seemed to characterize herself as a “chaste woman.”

It might be simpler and easier for Ill-han to provide a list of family members and married men she hasn't slept fornicated with.

If Omar is so enamored with flogging, maybe she should relocate to a country more harmonious with her 7th century savage beliefs.

An openly gay and anti-Christian New York state senator has condemned Franklin Graham and Samaritan's Purse for wanting to treat coronavirus patients.

Samaritan's Purse set up an emergency field tent hospital in Central Park at the request of city officials. The respiratory unit, which will be supervised by Mount Sinai Hospital, can accommodate 68 patients.

"It's a shame that the federal government has left New York with no other choice but to accept charity from bigots," State Sen. Brad Hoylman said. "You know those medical tents being constructed in Central Park? They’re being set up by notorious anti-gay bigot Franklin Graham."

Even some in the city's LGBT community thumbed their nose at the Christian ministry's charity.

Yet he doesn't seem to appreciate the help of Christians. Um - what is the Alphabet Brigade doing to help anyone?

As far as DEM NY State Senator Hoylman, wow, don't tell him he's not earning his salary and doing the work of the people. He tirelessly tackles the really big issues like risks to children from tanning beds.
