RT: Israel and the US say that the war was needed to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and to stop the threat of their ballistic missiles. How grounded are these claims?

Cassif: It’s important to remember that last June, after the first aggression against Iran, Netanyahu declared the following: “We achieved a historic victory. We removed the nuclear missile threat. We eliminated Iran’s nuclear project and its missile industry.”

So he lied then, and he’s lying now about both the nuclear weapons and the threat of the missiles.

National Day: Day of Remembrance.

Time and Date: December 7 - Pearl Harbor.
On Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, the American Army and Navy base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy. The attack came as a surprise to the American Army and Navy and lead to great losses of life and equipment. More than 2000 American citizens were killed and more than 1000 were injured. The Americans also lost a large proportion of their battle ships and nearly 200 aircraft that were stationed in the Pacific region.

The three remaining USS Arizona survivors are Don Stratton, Lou Conter and Ken Potts.

Don Stratton was 19 at the time of the attack.

Lou Conter was 20 during the attack.

Ken Potts was 20 during the surprise attack.

It has been said that when an old person dies, it is like a library burning down. For the past 75 years, I have tried to share what I remember of World War II, but a day will come when I can no longer speak. Then what will become of everything I experienced on December 7, 1941? Carter entered the White House because of the whole Ford-Nixon-Pardon-Watergate scandal created by ))) people ((( who were determined to undermine and oust Nixon. Carter had the blessing from the Council of Foreign Relations, and in return, he brought the U.S. closer to Globalism and the NWO.

He was a weak leader on the world stage: His disastrous hostage crisis. The first president to usher what is now a common refrain from other NWO NGOs to Americans: "Make do with less." Three Mile Island happened during his Admin. Interest rates, inflation and prices skyrocketed. 

His foreign policies were disastrous. Carter depleted our Military. The Carter Center, claiming its goal is bringing truthful inspection and reporting on voting results and transparency and integrity to elections, did nothing it claimed. It was a Front giving validation to whoever leader was installed by ))) TPTB (((. 

His domestic policies devastated the U.S. mining and energy industries, among others, with harsh environmental oversight, regulations and penalties.

He gave away the Panama Canal.

Carter is grateful to Biden. Carter is now the second-worst U.S. President of all-time.

God Bless Carter, may he RIP, he had a long life. But don't ask me to play along with the Left's Narrative canonizing the peanut farmer-failed president.

With what Tennessee is experiencing from Hurricane Helene, TN NG troops are deploying to Israel? Not surprising considering RINO Governor Bill Lee wearing his AIPAC kneepads 24/7. Same for Gov. Kristi Noem whose fealty for Netanyahu runs deeper than it does the people of SD. 

Netanyahu is determined to drag the U.S. into war with Iran solely for Israel's benefit.

But Satanyahu's son Yair? He's resides in Miami, exempt from the IDF. Nice huh?

The Taliban commemorated the third anniversary of the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan by parading through a former U.S. air base with American weapons and vehicles.

USA MacPaper: On the anniversary of US withdrawal in Afghanistan, President Biden made the right call.

Far from being a blunder, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan delivered an important counterterrorism win for America.

Flag Day 2024.

History

On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress took a break from writing the Articles of Confederation and passed a resolution stating that “the flag of the United States be 13 stripes, alternate red and white,” and that “the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”

Over 100 years later, in 1916, President Woodrow Wilson marked the anniversary of that decree by officially establishing June 14 as Flag Day.

The morning of June 6, 1944, American troops and their allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France in an invasion, code-named Operation Overlord, during World War II, which began the liberation of France, and ultimately other areas of Europe, from Hitler’s Nazi regime. This day, known as D-Day, and the strategically planned landing of 156,000 British, Canadian and American troops at 6:30 A.M. on the five beaches of Normandy was code-named Operation Neptune.

Earlier in the morning of June 6, 24,000 airborne troops were dropped into battle by parachute in order to close exits and overtake bridges slowing the advancement of Nazi reinforcements. Troops entering the beaches by land and sea were met with Hitler’s ‘Atlantic Wall,’ 2,400 miles of bunkers, landmines, and beach obstacles (metal tripods, barbed wire, and wooden stakes) established in anticipation of a French coast invasion. Nazis planted 4 million landmines along Normandy beaches.

Saturday Night Retro Random Memes.

The original intent was Better Days From the Past memes. I dunno if days past were better, maybe they were or maybe we wax nostalgic. At least, as kids, (if you grew up any time from the 1950s-60s to the early/mid 1990s), we played outside, got dirty, drank from a water hose and weren't scrolling on smart phones 14 hours a day. 

A few other meme styles worked their way in. Nothing terribly "Sensitive" or "Bad Taste" but there are a few after the page break with Mature or Adult Content (think along the line of something of Big Mike falling out and visible).

Rep. Gaetz: what do we do that's like so now want to move to the likelihood that we think someone from land and Gaza might shoot at our service members on this pier? Do you think that that's a likely scenario?

Secretary Austin: That's possible? Yes.

Rep. Gaetz: This is a very telling moment, Mr. Secretary, because you've said something that's quite possible. That could happen right? Shots from Gaza, on our servicemembers, and then the response our Armed Service members shooting live fire into Gaza. That is impossible outcome here so that we can become the Port Authority and run this period. Right.

Secretary Austin: That's correct. And I expect that we will always have the ability

Rep. Gaetz: You think that counts as boots on the ground? President Biden told the country that we weren't going to have boots on the ground in Gaza.

Secretary Austin: and we won't.

Rep. Gaetz: okay, but you guys parse the distinction between like when Americans think boots on the ground, they think Americans in harm's way, are engaged actively in a conflict. You guys seem to be sort of saying that boots on a pier, connected to the ground, connected to servicemembers shooting into Gaza doesn't count as boots on the ground.

Secretary Austin: It does not.

Secretary Austin: I would not categorize the F 35 as a paperweight.

Rep. Gaetz: Well if it's not mission capable. What do we just stare at it and admire?

This is a farce. The aid will never be allowed to make it inland very far. This is an attempt by Biden's handlers to regain the support they lost from the American-Muslim voters. It won't work. It will work as a reason the Neocons, RINOs and UniParty want; for U.S. Military involvement in another designed war.

All this because Satanyahu blocks humanitarian aid, deliberately and sadistically starving Palestinian civilians to death.

WVXU: Lou Conter, last survivor of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, dies at 102.

Lou Conter, the last known survivor of the attack on the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, has died at the age of 102.

Conter, who was a 20-year-old quartermaster at the time of the naval assault, was on the back decks of the battleship on Dec. 7, 1941, when Japanese forces decimated the U.S. Pacific fleet. The unprecedented attack killed 1,177 on the Arizona, with over 900 of those individuals never recovered.

As the bombs rained down on the naval base, one landed between two main guns at the front of the Arizona. The explosion ignited a huge store of TNT black powder that was used for the ship's battery guns.

"There went a million pounds of powder," Conter recalled in a 2018 interview with the American Veterans Center. "It blew up!"

The explosion was so intense that it split the ship in two, "and the bow came up about 30, 40 feet out of the water and fell straight back down," he remembered.

The strike was catastrophic and it only took about 10 minutes for the ship to sink, David Kilton, a spokesman for the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, told NPR.

Meanwhile, amid the chaos, Conter abandoned the ship and eventually made it to safety, only to be ordered onto a rescue boat to help pull bodies from the water. "Some of those were individuals in distress, trying to figure out how to swim around the huge quantities of oil that had leaked out and the flames that were on the water," Kilton said.

"Guys were coming out of the fire, and we were just grabbing them and laying them down," Conter later said. "They were real bad. You would pick them up by the bodies, and the skin would come off in your hands."

After WWII, Conter went on to serve in the Korean War. Later, he became the Navy's first SERE officer — an acronym for survival, evasion, resistance and escape. For years, he helped establish the program, training Navy pilots and crew how to survive if they were shot down in the jungle and captured as prisoners of war.

By the end of his 27-year career in the Navy, in 1967, he'd risen to the ranks of lieutenant commander. He then moved to California, became a real estate developer, and married his second wife, Valerie. They were together for 47 years.

Conter passed away on Monday at his home in Grass Valley, Calif., following congestive heart failure
