On July 4, 1776, the thirteen colonies claimed their independence from England, an event which eventually led to the formation of the United States.

In a June 7 session in the Pennsylvania State House (later Independence Hall), Richard Henry Lee of Virginia presented a resolution with the famous words: "Resolved: That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved."

On June 8, 2005 the USS Liberty Veterans Association submitted A Report of War Crimes Committed Against the USS Liberty, June 8, 1967 to the Department of Defense in accordance with the DoD Law of War Program.

The Department of Defense has unilaterally waived its obligation under the Department of Defense Law of War Program by refusing to investigate the allegations contained in the War Crimes Report.  The Department of Defense has also refused to provide a speaker to address the crew of the USS Liberty and explain their actions with regard to the War Crimes Report.

Sneakers For Soldiers.

It's The Holidays and the season to give, but contributing to our Troops should be year-round.

SFS, I think, is doing God's work. I know finances for many people are tough right now, but footwear for our Troops is important. SFS will accept any amount.

I'm not affiliated or connected to SFS or their supplier, Bryn Mawr Running Company, in any way nor am I receiving any type of compensation or gratuity for promoting this cause.

What is Sneakers for Soldiers' mission?

The mission of Sneakers for Soldiers, Inc. is to provide properly fitted athletic shoes to deployed combat troops.  Sneakers for Soldiers supports all branches of the military and prioritizes shipments to troops in Hostile Fire/ Imminent Danger Areas and Designated Combat Zones, that are in need of replacing their worn out sneakers.

Are all branches of the military supported by your program?

Yes, as long as the troops are deployed to Imminent Danger Areas and Designated Combat Zones where the impact to morale and physical well-being of the sneaker support is significant.

Does the Military provide sneakers for deployed soldiers?

The US Military has recognized the fact that sneakers are an essential item for soldiers and they are in the early stages of providing athletic shoes to new service members (recruits)However, deployed soldiers are currently not beneficiaries of this new program.  Sneakers for Soldiers offers us all the opportunity to show our support for our deployed troops and to do so in a way that is practical and furthers the current efforts of the US Military.

What is unique about your program?

The uniqueness of our program is that the soldiers are able to select the brand and style that best fits their feet and needs from 9 high quality athletic shoes. Ordering is customized for each soldier.  We then purchase the sneakers at a generous discount, through monetary donations that we receive.

How many sneaker styles do you offer?

We currently offer nine styles of popular brands of sneakers that were based on the recommendations of deployed soldiers.  These high-quality sneakers are durable and built to hold up in extreme temperatures, harsh environments, rugged terrain, and daily exercise.

Can we send sneakers to you?

We do not accept sneakers (in kind donations) Why not? Because each soldier chooses the brand and style of sneaker that is best for their feet and needs.  All feet are different. All needs are different.

How much does a pair of sneakers cost?

Our average cost is $75 (retail: $130 – $145). Our shoe supplier, Bryn Mawr Running Company, provides sneakers to us at a deeply discounted rate, effectively at cost. Your donation buys the soldiers more shoe per dollar than if you bought a pair of sneakers on your own due to the discount that we receive from Bryn Mawr Running Company.

How much does it cost to ship sneakers?

Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of box – average $9/pair.

What if I want to donate less than the cost of a sneaker?

EVERY donation helps to purchase sneakers for our soldiers – EVERY dollar is appreciated.

Will a soldier know I helped purchase a sneaker?

To further personalize the gift, every pair of sneakers will have a tag attached with a donor’s first name/state or organization’s name/state to show a soldier that you care.

Does Sneakers for Soldiers have employees?

No, we are 100% volunteer.  All our board members are donors and volunteers.

Footwear is such a critical item for everyone, if your feet are hurting, it really affects how your entire body feels. Now, imagine a deployed Soldier opening your gift of of Sneakers for them.

One would think with all the BILLIONS of Dollars the U.S. has given to Ukraine TPTB running this shithole called the "Biden Administration" could allocate a few million for SFS, but no.

U.S. Military command teams in charge of protecting homeland security isolated in Cheyenne mountain bunker.


The command took such steps to ensure personnel can monitor the COVID-19 pandemic around the clock as the disease spreads around the world[.]

Should the staff working at the bunker become ill, there is a third team of high-ranking military officials working another 'secret' location[.]
[.]
'Our dedicated professionals of the NORAD and NORTHCOM command and control watch have left their homes, said goodbye to their families and are isolated from everyone to ensure that they can stand the watch each and every day to defend our homeland.[']

The NORAD base lies behind 23-ton blast doors and is arguably the most secure place on earth. A warren of tunnels was blasted out of Colorado granite in the 1960s and is now teeming with high-tech surveillance and monitoring equipment.

The bunker lies 2,000 feet under Cheyenne Mountain outside Colorado Springs. It can be sealed off by two giant blast doors made of concrete and steel, each 3½ feet thick.
[.]
It takes 45 seconds for built-in hydraulic machinery to close the blast doors. If the hydraulics fail, two people can close them by hand.
The Daily Mail article is quite interesting with great photos of some of what is contained within Cheyenne Mountain.

Along with all those working in the medical field, those protecting the public (law enforcement, fire-fighters, first responders, etc), the truckers, delivery drivers, volunteers putting in time without pay to help others - say a prayer for those who protect our nation. All of these people are putting our lives ahead of their personal interests and their personal lives. We owe them BIG TIME.

Armed Forces Day May 18, 2019


National Today: Armed Forces Day.
Armed Forces Day is a special holiday for people all over the world to come together and thank the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. First conceived by President Harry S. Truman, the holiday was established in 1949. The creation of a single day celebration for all five branches of the United States military made sense due to its recent unification under the Department of Defense. Today, Armed Forces Day is celebrated on the third Saturday of every May. Be sure to mark your calendar & support our military!
