Colorado legislature seeks to limit sale of semiauto weapons.

KOAA News: Semiautomatic Gun Bill Set for First Committee Vote in the House.

COLORADO — Tuesday, a bill that would limit the sale of semiautomatic guns will have its first committee vote in the House.

If the bill passes out of committee today, it will move to the full chamber. The bill passed the state Senate last month after some heavy amendments.

It passed Committee March 11.

The public defenders for the suspect in the mass shooting at a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub said in a Tuesday night court filing obtained by a New York Times reporter that their client is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.

The Gazette: Public defender records identify Club Q shooting suspect as non-binary, set for virtual court appearance.

Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, was turned over to sheriff’s officers at the jail by Colorado Springs police.

The motions filed by the defense, which were released to the public on Tuesday night, address Aldrich as "Mx. Aldrich" which is the title given to those who are considered non-binary.

Now, to watch the MSM unspin their immediate judgement that the shooter is a "MAGA Republican."

Heavy and Newsweek have stories mentioning Aldrich is/was part of the Mormon Church. How is this relevant? Why are they saying this? I can think of two faiths that wouldn't be mentioned or would be quickly memory-holed. How many can you think of?

CDPHE says right now they are seeing the 7-day average of cases being more than 1,500 cases and currently there is more than 140 hospitalizations when it comes to the virus.

Wynn Bruce, climate activist dies after lighting himself on fire outside Supreme Court.

A climate activist who lit himself on fire on Earth Day outside the United States Supreme Court Building has died, according to reports.

Wynn Bruce, 50, of Boulder, Colorado, died Saturday, a day after he set himself ablaze in Washington, D.C., the Metropolitan Police Department told Fox News.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on the plaza in front of the court building.

He was airlifted to a local hospital, where he died.

A Facebook page belonging to a person named Wynn Bruce said he was a Buddhist and a climate activist.

Thank you for your climate sacrifice, Mr. Bruce. I can already tell the air and water is cleaner.

The bunker lies 2,000 feet under Cheyenne Mountain outside Colorado Springs. It can be sealed off by two giant blast doors made of concrete and steel, each 3½ feet thick.

Along with all those working in the medical field, those protecting the public (law enforcement, fire-fighters, first responders, etc), the truckers, delivery drivers, volunteers putting in time without pay to help others - say a prayer for those who protect our nation. Squirrels never liked us. Cause $700 in Jeep damages.

FOX KDVR Colorado: Squirrels cost Windsor man $700 in car repairs.

WINDSOR, Colo. - A Windsor man is out hundreds of dollars after squirrels broke into his car three times in a matter of weeks. Each time, the squirrels chewed through wires that left him unable to drive his Jeep.

Gary Seago says he first noticed the problem toward the end of November.

"I started it up and it was going 'chug, chug, chug' and I thought something's wrong," said Seago.

Seago took his car to the shop and learned a fuel injector plug was chewed in half. Mechanics told him the culprit was likely a squirrel. Many tubes and wires in vehicles are soy-based, which can attract rodents.

The squirrels didn't stop there. The following morning, Seago says the exact same part was once again chewed. And weeks later, they were able to destroy an even more expensive part under the hood.

"It's like they weren't going to stop doing it. They were going to continue to try to make a home of my Jeep," said Seago.

Seago has had to find a way to fund the squirrels' expensive habit. The repairs have totaled roughly $700. Living on a fixed income and without full car insurance, Seago says he can't afford another repair.

"I have doctor's appointments and things I need to go to and I can't be without transportation," said Seago.

He has tried a number of tactics to keep the rodents away. Seago placed moth balls under the hood and also installed a device that uses high-pitched noise and strobe lights to keep them away. He says the deterrents seem to be working, but worries they won't fix the problem permanently. Seago says his neighbor is also experiencing a similar problem.

"It isn't like they're going to do it once and you get your car fixed and everything is OK. Obviously, they continue to get into wherever they can and be destructive," said Seago.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Aurora on Friday evening to march to the ICE detention facility where illegal and undocumented immigrants are being housed. They also removed the U.S. flag, replaced it with a Mexican flag, and spray painted graffiti on the American flag before they replaced it flying upside down.
