Ave Maria - Luciano Pavarotti.

A Brown Christmas!

It'll be in the mid-50's today. A Very Brown Christmas in the Twin Cities and most of Minnesota.

December brought a few dustings of snow, but it melted fast.

I know many people like snow for Christmas. I don't miss the snow one bit.

We'll have some rain instead. I can deal with that just fine!

Keep that Global Warming a'coming!

Santa on NORAD starts six hours and about 45 minutes.

NORAD tracks Santa's global trip once again.

Bookmark the site. It's fun to check out over the next 24 hours or so, (I recall it ends early Sunday AM), especially for the little kids and the adults who set down the Eggnog and move to something bolder.

There's activities to do at the site by clicking on the buildings.

Clicking on the roof of the second house from the left, (not the Tickets booth), brings you to Play Games, I tried a few and they're not easy. Try Find The Pug and see if you can find that damn Pug before the time expires. I couldn't.  Santa Chase? Unpossible.

There's also music, some which is really good (explained below).

At the Santa/NORAD link at the top:

Check the bottom of their home page for the music. It's your basic operation; 'play', adjust volume and toggle ahead (as often as you like) and toggle back:

The artists vary, but some music is from the bands of the U.S. Merchant Marine, the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Air Force Academy are Impressive!

Twitter Janitors' Union go on strike. Elon cancels the contract and fires them.

🤣🤣🤣

The Blaze: Janitors' union called a strike outside Twitter, so Elon Musk canceled its contract and fired the janitors.

Janitors hired to clean at Twitter headquarters in San Francisco, California, protested after 20 employees were fired, so the social media company bought by Elon Musk fired the rest of them.

Critics of Musk are outraged that he would fire the workers just weeks before Christmas.

“Our cleaning contractor at Twitter was told by Twitter that they are cutting the contract,” said Olga Miranda, union president for the janitors. “So we have about 48 families out of work. And it just so happens that it's three weeks before Christmas.”

The union members didn't realize it was three weeks before Christmas when they went on strike but they did when...they were fired? FAFO! 🤣

Another 👍 for The Elon!

Shelter Dogs have great time picking out their own Christmas toys.

"Toys, Toys and More Toys!"

The Animal Rescue Site.com: Shelter Dogs Go Bonkers When They Get To Pick Their Own Christmas Toys. Hit the link for some great pics.
The staff arranged all the toys on the floor and then one by one let the dogs enter the room and choose their special gift. While some dogs immediately chose a favorite and ran around the room, others needed to inspect each one to find the perfect fit.
[.]
One joyous pup even tried to fit more than one in its mouth (A budding Bernie Sanders of the dog world! -DD 😏). Another large dog named Max took his time going from one toy to the next and even picked a few before finding his favorite. His method was to try them all.

Kenneth immediately found the squeaker in his toy and ran around the room making all kinds of noise. Tiny, an adorable Chihuahua, found a little green bone that was the perfect size for him. Buddy come out running and was also looking for a noisy toy, which he finally found. He carried it in his mouth as he raced around the room.

A dog named Esme quickly found her favorite and leaped on the couch while tossing the new toy in the air. Three adorable puppies were distracted by the camera but then realized they were in a room filled with toys and went to work finding the special one.
