That politeness gave no pause to Gary Lansky, 73, who proceeded to grab the girl’s head and pull out a pocket knife, according to authorities.

“And he just put up my head and then he just slide the knife on my throat,” Saida told the station Thursday.

The alleged attacker, 73-year-old Gary Lansky, is charged with assault with intent to murder and felonious assault.

The Michigan chapter of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) believes the case should be investigated as a hate crime.

In this instance, CAIR and AACRL are spot on.

Lansky is - you guessed it - playing the Victim Card. He's old. He has dementia. He didn't know what he was doing. Really? He picked the little Muslim kid out of all the other children, slit her throat and didn't know and understand what he did? Hate Crime!

To the right of SLC is Lake County, population just shy of 11,000.
The tip is Cook County, population 5,600.

Carlton County. Very middle class, hard-working, nice area but likely suffers from multi-generational "my parents and grandparents voted democrat so I vote democrat." Scenic, rivers, forests, lakes.

St. Louis County demographics emulates Carlton County, only larger. A beautiful part of the state, great people who work hard and play hard. But deeply Blue. The City of Duluth is a Blue Shithole. 

Lake County has some really high-end summer homes sitting on sprawling estates owned by generational big money democrats. They head South during the winters, the middle-income, hard-working families who by far outnumber the rich libs, stay put.

Cook County: Grand Marais is epically scenic. Eagle Mountain and other areas of great wilderness abound. Similar to Lake County, but on a smaller scale with some wealthy, liberal estates who head South during winters. 

Total pop those counties: roughly 253,200. Not enough, maybe, to overcome the deeply entrenched blue vote in major MN cities - but...put that land on the auction block!

I get it that the rich libs in these counties vote the way they do. They're a bunch of Thurston Howells. Why the others stay stuck in Blue is a mystery to me.

And Clay County in western MN, no clue why they Blue.

MN's Gov. the /Liberal and Morbidly Obese Timmy Walz was reelected and both Houses are Blue unless someone finds some boxes in the trunk of a car full of ballots for Republicans.

The Main Stage Federal Election: Appears a Republican majority in the House. Nancy Pelosi loses her role as Speaker. We can all give a "Blessed Amen" to that. The Senate, last I checked, still holding at D 48 - R 49. 

And how about Maricopa County, AZ? 

France, population 64,634,083 can count their election ballots in 24 hours.

Maricopa County, Arizona, population 4,541,258, can't. FFS.

Not the Blue Tears Wave I'd hoped for, but, lower expectations, hope for the best and find the good outcomes. Be happy the House turned Red and Pelosi is out! That's a victory!

A man claiming to be Dr. Marc Mallory, the husband of nasty woman Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, called a docking/boat company late last week requesting immediate access to the couple’s boat for Memorial Day weekend.

But because the company, NorthShore Dock LLC, was already severely behind schedule because of Whitmer’s oppressive shutdown orders, his request had to be denied.

“This morning I was out working when the office called me, there was a gentleman on hold who wanted his boat in the water before the weekend. Being memorial weekend and the fact that we started working 3 weeks late means there is no chance this is going to happen,” the since-deleted post reads.

“Well, our office personnel had explained this to the man and he replied: ‘I am the husband to the governor, will this make a difference?'”

The answer was a resounding no.

“As you can imagine, that does make a difference, that would put you at the back of the line!!!” the employee sarcastically wrote.

“Needless to say, our Governor and her husband will not be getting their boat for memorial day.” He added: “Too good not to share, I love it when karma comes around, even in small doses.”

Did this actually happen, though, or is it just a fake Facebook meme? According to NorthShore Dock LLC, it’s 100 percent real.

Michigan Sheriffs won't be writing tickets, enforcing Whitmer's orders.

Detroit Free Press: Genesee County sheriff: 'Don't expect us' to write tickets enforcing Whitmer's order.

Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson implied he would not strictly enforce Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's stay-at-home order.

Swanson spoke with Detroit radio personality Charlie LeDuff on "No BS News Hour" on Friday about the statewide stay-home order. When LeDuff asked Swanson if he would enforce the orders, Swanson said the sheriff's job is to enforce the laws "with discretion."

"We have not raided a business, we have not shut a business down," Swanson said. "We are not pulling people over, we are not writing tickets, and don't expect us to do it."

LeDuff raised the issue in regard to Karl Manke, the Owosso barber who defied the orders and opened his barber shop before the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs suspended his barbers license.

Sheriff Brian Begole said his department will not enforce the governor's orders.

"I have decided, within my authority, that our office cannot and will not divert our primary resources and efforts towards enforcement of the Gov. Whitmer's executive orders,” Begole said in a letter.

Several other Michigan sheriffs announced they will not enforce the orders, including Livingston County Sheriff Mike Murphy.

Swanson, a registered Democrat, is up for election as Genesee County Sheriff this November.

CNN: Michigan governor says protests 'make it likelier' stay-at-home orders will stay in place longer.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Wednesday that the protests in the state's capital city against state measures meant to limit the spread of the coronavirus make it more likely that the state will have to keep restrictions in place longer.

Appearing Monday on ABC's "The View," Whitmer, a Democrat, was asked about the pushback against her administration's coronavirus restrictions. There have been multiple protests in the state's capital city of Lansing in the past few weeks, including one late last month that saw protesters -- some of them armed -- entering the state Capitol, screaming at law enforcement officers and not adhering to social distancing guidelines or wearing masks.

While she respects people's right to dissent, Whitmer said, the protesters are putting people at risk.

"The fact of the matter is, these protests -- in a perverse way -- make it likelier that we are going to have to stay in a stay-at-home posture," she said, going on to encourage anyone with a platform to call on people to "do the right thing."

Another protest against the state's stay-at-home restrictions is scheduled for Thursday in Lansing.

Michigan gridlocks the streets protesting Gov. Whitmer's stay-at-home order.

The Detroit News: Vehicle-bound protesters flocking to Michigan Capitol to slap stay-home order.

Protesters inside their vehicles lined the streets around the Michigan Capitol Wednesday ahead of a noon rally to protest provisions of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's executive order that aims to protect public health during the coronavirus pandemic.

Several of the vehicles participating in "Operation Gridlock" sported American flags and MAGA (Make America Great Again) banners. A banner across the Capitol lawn read "Security without liberty is called prison."

Drivers laid on their horns repeatedly, and others had megaphones.

The protest is organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, which told supporters to "come ready for a potentially major traffic jam around the (taxpayer funded) Michigan Capitol Building."

A press release from the group warned attendees to "display signs, make noise and be disruptive, but stay in your vehicle so that the 'Whitmer police' cannot say you are ignoring the 'social distancing' order."

Good for Michigan! Gridlock those streets. Bring the state government to a standstill. Other cities and states with lawmakers and elected public SERVANTS with lunatics like Whitmer should be doing the same thing every single day. 

Pick any Blue state or a Blue city, run by a Blue governor or Blue mayor, and watch these Little Eichmanns revel in their power as they restrict freedoms and our rights.

In total this past week alone, Governor Whitmer has banned packaged seeds, tiling, carpet, flooring… And US flags.

X-Rated movie plays on Michigan highway billboard.

The Washington Times: Michigan teens busted for playing X-rated video on roadside electronic billboard.

Two teenagers have been held accountable for causing a pornographic video to be displayed on an electronic billboard located alongside a highway in Michigan, police said Friday.

Authorities in Auburn Hills said that a 16-year-old from South Lyon and an 18-year-old from Sterling Heights admitted their involvement in an X-rated stunt that stunned drivers.

The incident unfolded on the evening of September 28, 2019, when police received multiple calls from motorists about porn being played on a billboard alongside Interstate 75.

The teens entered the shed through an unlocked door and spent around 15 minutes inside, The Detroit Free Press reported. Once started, the pornographic video played on the billboard for around 15 to 20 minutes before being stopped.

“That is unclear how exactly they thought about this or why they chose this, other than you can obviously see a shed underneath the sign and maybe curiosity piqued their interest whether or not they could get in, maybe that ran the billboard,” [said Auburn Police Department Lt. Ryan Gagnon].

We have to ask ourselves...which cinematic masterpiece within the genre of adult entertainment the teens' chose?

Theories ranged from a string of lanterns to “weird stars” and finally, naturally, to alien overlords.

Hunter shoots brother, mistakes him for a wounded deer.

Michigan Live (via Archive): Hunter accidentally shoots brother after mistaking him for wounded deer, police say.

IONIA COUNTY, MI – A hunter was seriously wounded Saturday, Nov. 16, when he was accidentally shot by his brother.

The victim, a 28-year-old Lowell man, was airlifted from the scene in Ionia County. His brother, a 29-year-old Saranac man, told police he accidentally shot his brother with a muzzle-loader rifle thinking he was shooting at a deer that had been wounded.

Sheriff’s deputies found the brothers, who had been hunting together.

“Investigation on the scene and in follow up interviews determined this was by all accounts an accidental shooting that occurred after the men were looking for a deer that one brother had shot earlier with his muzzle loading rifle,” the Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.

The brothers could not find the deer and were ending the search when they became separated in the dense cornfield. The brother who fired the shot was some distance away when he thought he saw the deer moving. He heard what he thought was the deer moving and fired, hitting his brother.

After firing the shot, he realized he had hit his brother and immediately called 911.

The brothers walked out of the cornfield where first responders provided medical help.

Aiiigghhh! You don't pull the trigger based on what you think you see and hear is a deer.

It could have been so much worse. That the shot brother was able to walk is, at the very least, a good sign. This makes a great story for the brothers, especially the one who got shot. For the next 40+ years, he can play the, "Hey, remember that time you shot me," line.

If I was deer hunting, and had to be shot, I guess I'd rather it be my brother shooting me than some stranger. And I think I'd rather be the one taking the bullet. I'd feel pretty bad about shooting someone, especially my brother. Then again, people I've hunted with wouldn't have fired based on what the one brother thought he saw and heard. Nor would I.

Southfield, Michigan city clerk charged with FELONY ELECTION FRAUD. Shocker: She's a DEM!

Detroit News: Southfield city clerk charged with 6 felonies tied to November election.

Southfield City Clerk Sherikia L. Hawkins was charged Monday with six felony counts over "unauthorized and inaccurate" changes to absentee ballots in the November 2018 election.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson made a joint announcement of the charges in Detroit, calling it a "rare" case.

...Hawkins altered 193 absentee voter records came to light during the 14-day canvass following the election. Benson said the Oakland County Clerk’s Office reported with the Bureau of Elections "the potential for these irregularities and from there we began our investigation."

Hawkins, a Democrat who just a few months ago was honored by the state party with the Dingell/Levin Award at its Legacy Dinner in Detroit, could not be reached Monday at her office for comment or a number listed in public records. Her attorney also could not be reached.

Hawkins,38, was arraigned Monday in 46th District Court in Southfield on the charges, which include election law-falsifying returns or records, forgery of a public record, misconduct in office and multiple counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

Forgery of a public record is a 14-year offense, Nessel said.

According to an affidavit filed by Michigan State Police Detective Sgt. Larissa LaMay, the lead investigator of the election fraud complaint, Oakland County Elections Director Joseph Rozell began working to certify the city's absentee precincts after the election.

When an absentee ballot arrives into a clerk's office, it is logged into the Qualified Voter File. The clerk then checks to make sure the file entries are valid.

Rozell "contacted Hawkins when he noticed that ballot summary sheets were blank," LaMay's report notes.

Rozell, after questioning Hawkins about her ballot sheets, said it appeared "that the ballot return dates for voters were added or removed from the report in order to force the reports to balance to the number of ballots tabulated for each precinct on Election Night."

"It appears that Hawkins had switched her original reports with altered reports," LaMay wrote.

Hawkins is paid $101,500 per year in Southfield as the city's clerk.

She should definitely serve the full 14-year sentence. Because...Nobody is Above The Law.

Michigan resident Richard Zelasko wins $80 Million lottery. HAS TO give half the winnings to ex-wife.

The Independent via Yahoo: Man who won $80m in the lottery must give half of winnings to estranged wife.

A man who won $80m playing the lottery while going through divorce proceedings will be required to give half his winnings to his ex-wife, a court has ruled.

Richard Anthony Zelasko, 50, has been told he must split the money with his estranged wife Mary Elizabeth, 48, after an arbitrator deemed the winnings part of the “marital estate”.

The couple, from Pontiac, Michigan, were married from 2004 until September 2011, at which point Elizabeth filed for divorce, according to court documents.

Two years later, Zelasko won an $80m Mega Millions lottery jackpot, which amounted to $38m after taxes and deductions.

Despite being separated at the time the ticket was purchased, the arbitrator deemed the winnings should be shared jointly because “that was probably not the first lottery ticket that defendant purchased during the marriage, and ‘as losses throughout the marriage were incurred jointly, so should winnings be shared jointly’”.

According to court documents, Elizabeth earned between $100,000 and $120,000 annually while Zelasko earned $36,000 annually during their marriage.
