The Council on American–Islamic Relations-Minnesota announced Friday that it is filing a complaint with the Department of Human Rights against the Minneapolis Parks and Rec Board in relation to an inaccurate 911 call at Minnehaha Regional Park in July 2018 that resulted in four innocent Somali American youths in handcuffs.
The organization also announced it would be filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Administration Data Practices Office.
"We are moving forward with this case because we believe the Minneapolis Park Board Police is acting in bad faith," Jaylani Hussein, director of CAIR-Minnesota, said during a press conference Friday.
[.]
"We believe that this incident could have been dealt with much different response and due care," Hussein said. "We have reached out and done our part to make sure we work with Minneapolis Park Board in order to understand the full scope of the incident and to come to a solution. But we believe since this incident ... Minneapolis Park Board has refused to provide information about this incident and other incidents that have happened that are very similar."
The MPRB issued a statement in response Friday afternoon:
"The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has responded to CAIR's data requests and has provided them with the public data we can legally provide," it read. "We will review and respond timely to any complaints CAIR files with any federal, state or local agency."
According to police, a 911 caller on July 10, 2018, reported four males holding knives and sticks at the park. The caller said one suspect said he had a gun in his backpack and that the suspects were assaulting the caller's boyfriend.
Thread comment header: "John Brennan's tweet decoded! He ordered the assassination of Trump. John 3:13 = JFK Zapruder film frame 313. The frame the bullet hits JFKs head."Frame 313 of the Zapruder film does appear to be the correct frame number. Time:
What Brennan wrote is exactly James 3:13. Bible Gateway:...LIFE withheld the gruesome frame No. 313—a picture that became influential by its absence. That one, where the bullet exploded the side of Kennedy’s head, is still shocking when seen today[.]

| A very worried John Brennan |
Today, 21 October 2015 and over the coming days WikiLeaks is releasing documents from one of CIA chief John Brennan's non-government email accounts. Brennan used the account occasionally for several intelligence related projects.RT: Brennan's hacked emails include his thoughts on toture, Iran and Afghanistan. And yeah...his hacked email was an...AOL account. Who dey?
Completely hilarious that CIA Director Brennan still uses an AOL account for personal email. Probably has a Prodigy mailer CD too[.]Brennan, a Deep-Stater and loyal Clintonite, is busy pointing fingers at others, including James Comey and James Clapper.
On Monday, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino appeared on “Fox & Friends” and blasted Obama administration CIA Director John Brennan, saying he “has disgraced the country.”Brennan was a main architect in then-president Barrack Hussein Obama's "kill list", and Brennan was instrumental in weaponizing the CIA, especially with drones, for the Obama Admin.
Bongino was responding to a tweet from Brennan over the weekend claiming Republican leaders in Congress would do “a great disservice” to the country if they allow Trump to order an investigation into potential interference in the 2016 election by the Obama administration’s intelligence agencies.
[.]
Bongino slammed Brennan as a disgrace and said he was “worried about staying out of jail” because there were criminal leaks to the media Bongino asserts Brennan was involved in.
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler came close to collapse in his home state of New York while attending an event with Mayor Bill de Blasio.
At a Friday press conference in New York City, de Blasio came to Nadler’s aid, offering water and making sure the fellow Democrat was feeling alright.
[.]
The story was first reported by NBC News 4 in New York, which reported he appeared to “almost pass out.”
In a video from NBC News 4, de Blasio asks Nadler if he was OK. Nadler can be heard responding with a faint “no” before putting his hand over his face. He then put his head down on the table where he was sitting.

NASA has warned an asteroid big enough to boast its own mini moon will this week make a near-Earth approach.

Asteroid 1999 KW4 is actually two objects, consisting of a larger space rock measuring 0.8 mile across (1.3km) and a mini moon orbiting it.
It will only travel as close as 3.2 million miles from Earth, which equals about 13 times the distance between the Earth and the moon, CNET reported.

The flyby will be visible starting May 24 and last until May 27. If you miss it, you’ll have to wait until 2036 to see it again.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday that most House Democrats aren’t demanding immediate impeachment but aim to show the country that President Donald Trump is hiding something big.

Actor James Woods has responded to his ban on Twitter. And then there's the below, Julian Assange in unmistakable crosshairs. Not linking directly to the account, you can find it on your own if you really want:
The conservative actor was banned from the platform after quoting the television show The Wire. Woods wrote, “”If you try to kill the King, you better not miss.” #HangThemAll” The quote from The Wire paraphrases Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Woods’ girlfriend Sara Miller revealed Twitter claims the tweet violated their “rules against abusive behavior.”
Of course Twitter doesn’t inform his followers. @RealJamesWoods has received the following email: pic.twitter.com/2nnnVBVktQ

Woods spoke to The Daily Wire where he indicated he will not be returning to Twitter, “Twitter demanded that I rescind my tweet paraphrasing Emerson.” He added, “It now seems they have chosen to delete that tweet from my account without my permission. Until free speech is allowed on Twitter, I will not be permitted to participate in our democracy with my voice. As long as Jack Dorsey remains the coward he seems to be, my Twitter days are in the past.”
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., on Tuesday threatened to go to court to get former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify before his committee.NY Post: Jerry Nadler’s cynical, cowardly show.
“Let me be clear: This committee will hear Mr. McGahn’s testimony, even if we have to go to court to secure it,” Nadler said.
Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established.The Zazzy Nadler in June's GQ, on sale now:
So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras.
Police fined a pedestrian £90 for disorderly behaviour after he tried to cover his face when he saw a controversial facial recognition camera on a street in London.- - -
Officers set up the camera on a van in Romford, East London, which then cross-checked photos of faces of passers-by against a database of wanted criminals.
But one man was unimpressed about being filmed and covered his face with his hat and jacket, before being stopped by officers who took his picture anyway.
After being pulled aside, the man told police: ‘If I want to cover me face, I’ll cover me face. Don’t push me over when I’m walking down the street.’

Once upon a time, Apple understood extreme pro users. From about 2006 to about 2012, Apple sold what is fondly referred to as the "cheese grater" Mac Pro, so named because the holes on the side of the unit were reminiscent of a cheese grater.- - -
[.]
Then, in 2013, Apple introduced what's come to be known as the "trash can" Mac Pro, because it looks like a glossy little trash can. When Phil Schiller introduced it, he was so proud of it that he bragged, "Can't innovate, my ass."
Since then, that machine has been pretty much a failure.
[.]
It's entirely possible the new Mac Pro could go horribly wrong:
#1 Proprietary modules and module interfaces
#2 Limited module selection
#3 Lack of user maintainability and some kind of unexpected lock-in
#4 Lack of, or minimal upgradeability
#5 Form over functional heat management
#6 Pricing that limits purchases to high-end enterprises only

Never talk to the police. They are not there for a friendly chat.... They are information gathers, to gather information against YOU or ppl that you care about so they can convict you, fine you or put you in a cage. Use your rights and say nothing... any lawyer will tell you that.

A new study by researchers at Northwestern University “presents an algorithm audit of the Google Top Stories box,” examining the results’ variety and ideological leanings, the Daily Mail reports. The researchers looked at the 6,302 articles that appeared in Google’s Top Stories box in November 2017, and found that CNN had the largest percentage of articles at 10%, followed by the New York Times at 6.5% and the Washington Post at 5.6%. From there, Fox News was fourth at just 3%.This new Northwestern University pdf is located here. John Harwood: Despite Bill Barr saying over and over, “no collusion.”Go chow another 10,000 calorie snack, FatMan.
Jerry Nadler: Bill Barr is just a liar. And, he’s just representing the president.
The second clear conclusion is, there are 12 episodes of obstruction of justice. Beyond all that is the basic question: They’re trying to say that Congress, representing the American people, can’t get information, and therefore, can’t function. The effect of that is to make the president a monarch, to make him a dictator. And that’s what we’ve got to fight.
Last week, 19-year-old Kendrick Castillo lost his life to save his fellow students as a shooting broke out at a STEM school in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, just outside Denver. Castillo was, by all accounts, a bright young student and a hero in the wake of a senseless act of violence. As it turns out, he was also an avid Jeep enthusiast. CBS4 Denver‘s Jamie Leary covered the remarkable event, as fellow Jeepers throughout the state turned out to honor his memory.
Witnesses said Kendrick Castillo, a senior who was within days of graduating from STEM School Highlands Ranch, was among three students who tackled a classmate who opened fire in his classroom. Castillo, a robotics buff and outdoorsman, was the lone fatality in the shooting that wounded eight other students.
The local Knights of Columbus, where Castillo often volunteered with his father, was helping pay funeral expenses. The group also was providing an honor guard for the service.
