Daily Mail: Cindy McCain says late husband John 'wouldn't recognize' today's Republican Party, says 'we've lost our way' and praises Liz Cheney for doing 'what's good for the country' even though it will 'harm her in the end.

Cindy McCain, the widow of the late Senator John McCain, said her husband wouldn't recognize today's Republican Party.

'I don't believe my husband would recognize it,' she told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell.

'I do know one thing, he would be fighting like the dickens to pull it back together,' she said.

She praised Rep. Liz Cheney for doing the 'right thing'.

Late Senator John McCain provided disgraced former FBI chief James Comey with five separate reports from Christopher Steele that the FBI didn’t previously possess related to unsubstantiated allegations of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the Justice Department’s recent Inspector General report revealed.

There have long been questions about why it was necessary for McCain to pass Steele’s anti-Trump dossier to Comey on December 9, 2016, several weeks after the November 2016 presidential election. By then, Steele had already met numerous times with FBI agents to provide them with his controversial reports. Steele, however, was terminated as an FBI source in the fall of 2016 because he spoke to the news media.

The IG report also verifies that a McCain aid obtained the Steele reports directly from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, meaning that when McCain transferred the anti-Trump charges to Comey he had to have known that the material originated with a firm that specializes in controversial opposition tactics.

    Several weeks later, on December 9, 2016, Senator John McCain provided Corney with a collection of 16 Steele election reports, 5 of which Steele had not given the FBI. McCain had obtained these reports from a staff member at the McCain Institute. The McCain Institute staff member had met with Steele and later acquired the reports from Simpson.

Prior to his death, McCain admitted to personally handing the dossier to Comey but he refused repeated requests for comment about whether he had a role in providing the dossier to BuzzFeed, including numerous inquiries sent to his office by this reporter.

In his book published last year, McCain maintained he had an “obligation” to pass the dossier charges against Trump to Comey and he would even do it again. “Anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell,” McCain exclaimed.

Doing work so dirty even the DEMS didn't want to touch it. But McCain? He was only too happy and eager to oblige. And with pride...while he was dying.

McCain was responding to reports that the White House Military Office asked lower-level US Navy officials about keeping the USS John McCain, named for the late senator's father and grandfather, out of view during Trump's trip to Japan last weekend.

Pudges reads the Fake News about the name of the USS McCain being obscured, doesn't bother to verify the story, goes straight to her Twatter account and bemoans, again, that it's all about her and her late dad. Pudges was Triggered by Fake News. I could be wrong, but I think most people would kind of be embarrassed and humbled by such triggering. Not Pudges. Give her a day, or less, and she'll back on her soap box.

Some guy who said one humorous anecdote several decades ago desperately seeks media attention, hopping on a momentary, topical Fake News story:

None of us has experienced the death of a loved one and suffered the degree of grief as has Pudges McCain. None of us. We can't imagine her grief; we just can't. Pudges is the Standard-Bearer of Grief and we must all accept the universe revolves around her.

It's all about you, Pudges. And your dad who spent the latter years of his Senate career, and presidential campaign, promising Americans one of his top priorities is to repeal Obama Care. And when the time came to belly up to the bar, he betrayed his promise to the people and voted to keep Obamacare. Why? It was John McCain's only way to give a "fuck you" to Trump. I'm REALLY HAPPY to know the McCain family supports Creepy, Pervy, Hair-Sniffin DEM Joe Biden for president. If the McCain's had stated they support President Donald Trump, I'd be questioning the state of my mental health.

The widow of Joe Biden’s late son Beau Biden has started a romantic relationship with Beau’s brother Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s younger son.

Hallie was devastated when her husband, Beau, died after suffering from brain cancer in May 2015. But she has since struck up a romance with Beau’s brother Hunter, 47, who has separated from his wife, Kathleen. We’re told Hallie and Hunter are now officially a couple.
