Double Vaxxed and Boosted Whoopi Goldberg HAZ TEH COOF for the THIRD time!

Daily Mail: Whoopi Goldberg, 67, MISSES season premiere of The View after testing positive for COVID for a THIRD time.

Whoopi Goldberg was forced to miss the season 27 premiere of The View on Tuesday after being struck down with COVID for a third time.

As the ABC show returned to the air following a four-week summer break, Joy Behar filled in as moderator while Whoopi, 67, was noticeably absent because she had tested positive for coronavirus.

Joy, 80, was joined by Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin as she opened the show sitting at a brand new desk and looking as glamorous as ever. ["Glamorous"? Really?- DD]

'As you can see, Whoopi is not here, she has Covid,' Joy announced as the live studio audience reacted, which led her to add: 'Yes. It's back, it's back.'

It's an epidemic of Teh Unvaccinated!

The High Queen of Stupid Joy Behar's diss on Elon Musk, says, "he's a bore."

Breitbart: Joy Behar: Elon Musk ‘Is a Self-Important Bore’.

Behar said, “[Elon Musk is] a self-important bore, OK. And let him go into space, let him go into space. I test drove a Tesla one time. I was scared of the car. I’m scared of that car. It goes ba-boom and has a computer, and I got a real panic attack in that car, number one. Number two, people need to go back to work because where else are you going to meet somebody? You know what I mean? Not everybody can go on Tinder and whatever else people are doing. This is where you meet people.”

Let us know, 80-year-old dyed haired red head, when you've created EIGHT successful companies.

Awwww, Joy Betard is scared of the ba-booms from a Tesla? 🤣 God only know the sounds that emanate from her bodily orifices when she goes to the bathroom. Oooooof!

Michael Avenatti gets 4 more years tacked onto his prison sentence.

NY Daily News: Michael Avenatti sentenced to 4 years in prison for defrauding Stormy Daniels.

Pugnacious California attorney Michael Avenatti was sentenced Thursday to four years in prison for defrauding Stormy Daniels when he represented her in litigation against former President Donald Trump.

The disgraced lawyer faced two to 20 years for stealing Daniels’ book advance payments in 2018 totaling more than $300,000.

Avenatti, who was already serving time for trying to shakedown Nike for more than $20 million, dumped his lawyers on the trial’s second day and moved to represent himself against criminal charges.

SHOUT OUT TO "THE VIEW'S" ANA FATVARRO...does Avenatti still remind you of the "Holy Spirit"?

This Michael Avenatti tweet and clip from The View aged so, so, so well. Sweet Delicious Schadenfreude!

This video clip from The View, (August 2018), aged even better!

Flashback to Michael Avenatti. He is Buttercup. Buckle Up!

Michael Avenatti's jail cell infested with rats. His lawyer afraid to visit him due to Coronavirus.

Fraudster Michael Avenatti’s attorney is scared to visit him at the dirty and dangerous Metropolitan Correctional Center — because he fears the lockup could be a coronavirus hotbed.

In a letter, Avenatti lawyer Scott Srebnick asked a Manhattan judge to delay by 30 days a pre-sentencing interview he was scheduled to attend between Avenatti and probation officials at the MCC.

Srebnick highlighted unsanitary conditions at the MCC — which ended a 10-day lock down last week — as a potential breeding ground for coronavirus.

Mr. Avenatti’s cell was infested with rats. The jail reeks of urine. As of yesterday, Mr. Avenatti had not shaved in weeks.["]
[.]
Avenatti was convicted of defrauding Nike in the case in February and a pre-sentencing hearing is scheduled for June.

He faces another criminal case in Manhattan federal court for allegedly embezzling funds porn star Stormy Daniels earned for writing her memoirs.

Avenatti convicted of Nike extortion. Flashback: Ana Navarro compares Avenatti to The Holy Spirit. Avenatti, "all of my fantasies involve handcuffs."

Note Navarro's line, "He'd make a great lady around the table." I'm sure his new friends at the Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center feel the same.

NY Post: Michael Avenatti convicted of trying to extort up to $25M from Nike.
Disgraced lawyer Michael Avenatti was convicted on all counts Friday of attempting to shake down Nike for as much as $25 million over claims it illegally funneled payments to college basketball players.
NY Post: Stormy Daniels says jury found Michael Avenatti’s ‘true character’.
Sadly, it appears what Michael Avenatti did to me was just the tip of an iceberg of deceit,” wrote Daniels, a former client of Avenatti who claims he stole $300,000 from her and forged her signature, on Instagram.

“I am not surprised his dishonesty has been revealed on a grand scale,” she said[.]
[.]
“His arrogant, fraudulent and overly aggressive behavior became so pervasive that the jury found his true character,” she added[.]
I read elsewhere (didn't bookmark the story), where Mikey complained he found his mattress at the MCC uncomfortable and that he's chilly at night. That. Is. So. Sad.

Today was John McCain Day? Who dis?

Today is Flag Day and the birthday of President Donald Trump.

I was unaware the McCaininites wanted to co-opt June 14, attempting to make this day a topical trending social media phenom.

I don't think things went as they planned.

I like the Tweet from Amy@Right Hook USA:

John McCain? Who dis?

I suppose Pudges McCain was beside herself today. The universe revolves around her, you know. She's cereal...Super Cereal!

There are those who may feel this post is in Bad Taste. No...it's Caustic Sarcasm! It's what readers of this blog expect from me - at least, occasionally.

Happy Birthday, again, President Trump!

DeWayne Craddock, Virginia Beach Shooter; MyLife page scrubbed. Deep-State action to distract from SpyGate?

BBC: Twelve killed at Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
At least 12 people were killed and several injured on Friday in a mass shooting at a government building in the US state of Virginia.

The suspect, described by officials as a disgruntled city employee in Virginia Beach, fired indiscriminately in a municipal building.

The gunman [is] identified by police as DeWayne Craddock[.]
Craddock was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the police bringing the death total to 13.

I'm going to skip the major details, like the VB Muni Center being a gun-free zone, presuming you already know this.

(Click all images to enlarge).

The victims:

Being that nine of the victims appear racially to be white, is it appropriate in asking if this horrendous attack has been described by the MSM as motivated by racism? It's a fair question, because if a shooter is white, and a majority of the victims are Black, the MSM would no doubt be asking this same question. Liberal politicians - never letting a crisis going to waste - would be echoing the same refrain playing the Racist Card. Was he motivated by race? Was he "disgruntled"? Is it a hate-crime? It should be, shouldn't it? I haven't heard those words from the MSM yet. Have you?

A screen cap of Craddock's MyLife page before it was scrubbed; please note the political affiliation:

Craddock's MyLife search engine result:

Craddock's MyLife page number assignment is e346068733872. That number appears on all three versions; the screen cap, the scrubbed cap and the search result entry. I think we're safe in reasonably concluding the now-scrubbed MyLife entry was his and authentic.

Isn't it somewhat ironic that, in some cases, the MSM trips all over itself to publish as much information as they can on someone, like with Nick Sandmann? Media instantly, and wrongly, initially painted San Diego shooter John Earnest as a Pro-Trump, MAGA, Alt-Righter. But other times, information is withheld, scrubbed, altered and spun for fitting The Liberal Narrative?

Now, into the speculative and muddy areas.

False flag terrorist attacks have become the preferred means of distraction of the American people.  Epic scandals like SPYgate require major distractions to change the national conversation—FAST! See ANOTHER MIND-CONTROLLED PATSY: Virginia Beach Mass Shooting frames a ‘disgruntled employee’ as the fall guy.

Mass shootings in high-profile venues are particularly carried out to divert the attention of the body politic when Deep State is under a LOT of pressure.  That pressure is coming from the necessity of covering up SPYgate.

In light of the radioactive revelations that are about to be made public by the DoJ after being authorized to declassify the Russiagate hoax documents, things are about to get very dicey. Truly, it doesn’t get more serious for the Democrat coup plotters than SPYgate.

Why Virginia?
Why Virginia, indeed. Hit the link and be ready for a long read.

The SOTN story is also found at The Millennium Report.

Both SOTN and TMR mention this interesting point in why this incident raises so many Red Flags:
Editor’s Note

It has been claimed that a scheduled “active shooter drill” was scheduled at the very same venue in Virginia Beach today — Saturday, June 1.  If this is true, then such a drill would have provided a perfect opportunity for the ‘authorities’ to set up the false flag operation in advance as they have done with many other staged mass casualty events.
SOTN confirms the report that the Virginia Beach PD had June 1 scheduled for an active shooter training workshop, while News Of The Day reports that Gun Violence Awareness Day is Sunday, June 2.

Regarding Gladio Terror, they were also named during the Sri Lanka attack, and others, give a search on them.

I'm not a believer in the Crisis Actor Conspiracy Theory. I'm not discounting something like it could be employed at times, but I think what happened in Virginia Beach on Friday did happen.

USA MacPaper: Contradicting information if Craddock was terminated or still employed with the city:
Craddock was an engineer at the Virginia Beach Department of Public Utilities for 15 years, police say. He worked in the city's water and sanitary sewers branch and was still employed with the department at the time of the attack, according to authorities.

That contradicts reports by CNN and The Wall Street Journal that have described Craddock as a "disgruntled employee" who had been recently terminated. At a Saturday afternoon news conference, Cervera was adamant that any unnamed sources saying the suspect had been terminated are incorrect.
Before providing a link to an 8Chan thread on the Virginia Beach Municipal Center; FYI, if you've never been to 8Chan, it is NSFW, containing ethnic and racist terms and images that may be offensive. If that upsets you, then do not follow the link. You have been advised.

An 8Chan Thread on Virginia Beach bring up, among several other theories, the  gematria of March 31:

The number of 13 deaths...Cutting Edge 13 being a Occult Number:
Thirteen (13) is deemed sacred. It was also no accident that Hitler chose the year 1939 to begin World War II, because 39 is formed by the multiplication of 13x3. Thus, you can see how human history has been shaped by the occult belief in the power of numbers.
The date of the shootings, May 31; 5/31. 5+3+1=9. Same link, Cutting Edge:
Nine (9) is sacred because it is the "first cube of an odd number (3)".
The connections in the Conspiracy Theories involving any unusual event or tragedy in Virginia tied to the CIA HQ in Quantico, VA - and their secret agenda and experiments (whatever they are) - abundantly abound on the web.

There are so many questions, will we ever know the truth? Maybe. Do we know the truth on the Inland Regional Center attack in San Bernardino...yet? I don't think so.

Remember, it's not that hard to fool the MSM and it regurgitates to the public what it's told by their political masters.

Breitbart: Mainstream Media Fooled by Troll Who Blamed San Bernardino Shooting on GamerGate:
The Associated Press (AP), the New York Times, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper were suckered by an online troll who claimed to be an eyewitness of the recent mass shooting in San Bernardino, California.

In a well-established pattern, the troll blamed the mass shooting on GamerGate, the movement against poor ethical standards and political zealotry in the world of video games journalism.

The troll, who claimed their name was “Marie A. Parker” told AP that one of the shooters said he was killing people “for necessary ethics” and wore a shirt emblazoned with a “GG” logo. Her comments, including her insinuation of GamerGate’s involvement, were published by the AP.
The Liberal Presidential Candidates renewed their ultimate goal of gun confiscation by calling for "common-sense gun control laws"  in the wake of Virginia Beach. None of them can define their generic phrase any further. What "common sense gun control" would have prevented the killings in Virginia Beach? Uh - maybe not having the facility designated a "gun-free zone"? That's not all that different from walking down the street wearing a sign reading, "I'm frail, unable to defend myself and carrying a lot of cash." Only a Liberal could conceive and believe that any "[Fill-in-the blank] free-zone" would be free of what they seek.

One thing the MSM all agree is telling us that the guns Craddock used were purchased legally. I've also heard the MSM report Craddock used a "silencer", of which there is no such thing, they mean a suppressor, which is not silent.

If I'm an arsonist, and buy and use gasoline, starting a fire that destroys some structure, and I'm caught - is the gasoline manufacturer liable for what I did? What "common-sense gasoline laws" would prevent another occurrence?

We are likely to never know the real truth.

Meghan McCain's HYSTERICAL reaction to Fake News. The universe revolves around her, you know.

Meghan McCain

McCain was responding to reports that the White House Military Office asked lower-level US Navy officials about keeping the USS John McCain, named for the late senator's father and grandfather, out of view during Trump's trip to Japan last weekend.

Nice one, Pudges. Too bad you sucked up the Fake News like a Dyson:

Pudges reads the Fake News about the name of the USS McCain being obscured, doesn't bother to verify the story, goes straight to her Twatter account and bemoans, again, that it's all about her and her late dad. Pudges was Triggered by Fake News. I could be wrong, but I think most people would kind of be embarrassed and humbled by such triggering. Not Pudges. Give her a day, or less, and she'll back on her soap box.

Some guy who said one humorous anecdote several decades ago desperately seeks media attention, hopping on a momentary, topical Fake News story:

He was funnier as a cokehead.

None of us has experienced the death of a loved one and suffered the degree of grief as has Pudges McCain. None of us. We can't imagine her grief; we just can't. Pudges is the Standard-Bearer of Grief and we must all accept the universe revolves around her.

It's all about you, Pudges. And your dad who spent the latter years of his Senate career, and presidential campaign, promising Americans one of his top priorities is to repeal Obama Care. And when the time came to belly up to the bar, he betrayed his promise to the people and voted to keep Obamacare. Why? It was John McCain's only way to give a "fuck you" to Trump. Wow, what character. What a display of statesmanship. What a two-faced tiny, little, bitter, selfish man.

I'll remind everyone that Pudges, this past April, said that she, "hopes Julian Assange rots in hell." Lots of compassion and forgiveness in the McCain family, huh?

I'm REALLY HAPPY to know the McCain family supports Creepy, Pervy, Hair-Sniffin DEM Joe Biden for president. If the McCain's had stated they support President Donald Trump, I'd be questioning the state of my mental health.

Julian Assange can barely talk, moved to prison hospital, says WikiLeaks.

This is not good. Julian Assange moved to prison hospital.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been moved to the hospital wing of the Belmarsh prison in the UK, prompting concerns about his health pending the hearing on his extradition to the US.

Assange’s health had already “significantly deteriorated” during the nearly seven years he spent inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, and has continued to get worse over the seven weeks he has spent in Belmarsh, WikiLeaks said in a statement on Wednesday.
Digital JournalSwedish court rejects delay in hearing due to Assange's illness.
No one from the court had any comment on the issue to Reuters nor did the Prosecutor's office. Sweden just reopened the rape investigation in early May.
You've probably heard all about this story from the MSM Talking Heads because they believe so adamantly in sticking up for their fellow journalists and truth-seekers. Like the frequent time and coverage they've devoted to Jamal Khashoggi.

Assange has the dirt on Hillary Clinton and the Obama Deep State. Otherwise she wouldn't have asked, "can't we just drone this guy?"

We probably won't hear much from the MSM on Julian Assange. He's more of a threat to them and they are the water-carries for The Left who view Assange as an enemy. Pray for Julian Assange.

"The View" gals absolve Creepy Joe's inappropriate groping and sexual innuendo.

The gals on "The View" broke their spines this morning, desperately overreaching, in all attempts, of absolving Creepy Joe Biden of his inappropriate groping and sexually abusive nature towards women. Note they completely ignore his history of "touchy-feely-groping" of children.

Listen to them stretch, rationalizing Creepy Molester Joe's behavior is acceptable.

How convenient that Ana Novarro mentions Jeffrey Epstein yet none of them mention the cushy, brief prison term of teen-sexter Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner.

Joyless Behar Remains Clueless

Joyless Behar

( Average reading time 5 minutes; less links and video. )

A few words regarding the below clip from "The View".

The "View" excerpts and clip are from the Friday, February 16, 2018 program. In the segment, the subject is the Parkland Florida tragedy and the inevitable conversation on gun-control, mostly from Joyless Behar and Sunny Hostin, who display a fundamental lack of knowledge on what they speak. (You're not surprised by this, though).

They'll never read or be made aware of this post on my limitedly viewed blog, but if Joyless and Sunny think it's easy to legally acquire a handgun or longarm (aka long-gun), then I challenge them to experience the process of legally obtaining one, especially any type of handgun, revolver, semi, or other.  Please Mss's Behar and Hostin - undertake the process of legally purchasing a gun, especially a handgun. Afterwards, let us know if it was EASY.

Neither Joyless or Sunny will do this - I fear they would find truths that drastically conflict with their anti-gun rhetoric and incorrect and pre-formulated, sacredly-held beliefs.  Oh, and one big deterrent for Joyless to actually experience the gun-purchasing process is that she'll have to provide her age and date of birth; something she probably avoids at all cost.

And pretending for a moment that the Second Amendment and hunting have anything to do with each other, which they don't, do note (I duplicated it a few times) when Sunny Hostin physically displays a "rat-a-tat-tat" semi-circle firing "spray" approach - implying this firing pattern is adapted or used in hunting. No true, respectable hunter (of which 99.99999% are) hunts in this manner. On a battlefield, armed and fighting for your life, yes, you may indeed fire off a sequence of shots in a pattern she demonstrates. Applying her method to hunting is abhorred by legitimate, respectful hunters.

Yes, I'm sure somewhere, some time, some rogue or inexperienced hunter, or a poacher, fired off a few rounds attempting to kill prey like that, but there is always a tiny fraction in anything that abuse, misuse and/or deliberately ignore the sportsmanship of  [ fill in the blank ]. To be redundant, no respectable hunter would ever hunt, or fire off a series of shots, as "demonstrated" by Ms. Hostin.  It's extremely dangerous to others in your hunting party and to anyone else in the area, hunting or not. Experienced hunters know that, at most - you have two shots to fell your prey. Not "Tommy-Gun-rat-a-tat-tat" style. Ms. Hostin has seen too many gangsta movies.

Regarding Ms. Hostin's comment of why don't hunters use a shotgun; many hunters do use a shotgun. The selection of shotgun or rifle and gauge or caliber depends on what it is one is hunting and its size.  I know deer hunters who use a .12 gauge (with a slug) for deer. Other, more powerful rifles are often preferred because the IDEA IS to fell and kill the prey as quickly and painlessly as possible. No respectable hunter wants to see their prey suffer. A clean "kill" shot is always preferred - always.  Why? If the bullet strikes a larger animal, a deer, or an elk, hitting it in its hind-quarters, it often continues running or limping  along, bleeding out and suffering. A quick kill helps in preserving the flesh from trauma that comes from suffering. The more prolonged the dying process, the more the tissue damage. The more tissue damage, the higher degree of trauma of edible meat, rendering it "tough" as opposed to smooth and "steak"-y.  I don't believe in hunting any animal that you do not plan to eat, or at least have processed and give to others to eat. I don't believe in trophy hunting. Seriously...you need the head of a tiger, elephant or boar hanging on the wall?  Now, if you mount a deer head with a 26-point antler-rack that you killed and consumed, I have no issue with that. Or, the taxidermy of animal or fish, again, as long as it is used as food.

I needed to move on with publishing a couple (rather easy) updates on Tech and one on News after publishing the post about my late brother. I didn't plan on updating anything for a while after the two updates following that one. But I realized that it is exactly one year today that I spent the day with my late brother who had ordered a S&W 9mm which had arrived.  I rode along and we spent that afternoon at a gun shop. His transaction took about twenty minutes, all paperwork previously approved. We spent about three hours looking at other merchandise and my brother spoke with every customer and employee there. Slightly unusual because he was rather reserved. I kept thinking, he doesn't know these people, and he's carrying on lengthy conversations with all of them - when are we going to get out of here? Those moments meant a lot to me at the time, but I wanted to get the heck out, but he kept striking up one new conversation with one person and then another. And then it became fun to watch and see who he would next talk to and about what. So today I hold those moments even more significant and, in a way, appropriate for an update today, on this subject.

Joyless also, knowingly or unknowingly (my money is on "unknowingly") attempts to use the annual amount of U.S. gun sales as the dollar amount of political contributions from the NRA as representing the dollar amount  used as lobbying by the National Rifle Associate (NRA.org). She is, of course, wrong and grossly off-point.  What else have we come to expect from Joyless? Joyless also states, "some of these guys..." [ I'm interpreting her words as "politicians receiving NRA money" ],  "...get $3,000.00."  Somehow, a $3 Grand campaign donation is not that much of an amount considering the large dollars of campaign contributions from other organizations.

Delusional Hillary Clinton "won 4 million more popular votes" than Trump, she tells "The View"

Average reading time (excluding links):  2m 15s

I sometimes watch "The View" so you don't have to.

Today's special guest was LOSING Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The number of her popular votes keeps increasing.  She said her popular vote exceeded 4 million.

Well, she's lying. When isn't she?

I'll use the liberal site, The Ring of Fire Network, as my source for the popular vote, because, we all know, Liberals NEVER embellish or exaggerate statistics.

Total popular vote from Ring of Fire Network
I did the math three times. WITH a calculator. The difference between the two above popular vote totals is: 2,833,220; a far cry from "over 4 million."

She blamed her loss on the usual crowd: Sexism, voter suppression, misogyny, James Comey, the Russians, James Comey, the Russians, James Comey, the Russians, James Comey, the Russians, James Comey, the Russians, James Comey, the Russians, Bernie Sanders, the Russians, and James Comey.

And James Comey - did I mention him? I wouldn't want to accidentally exclude him. And James Comey. And The Russians. And misogyny - yeah - that misogyny will get ya every time, eh Hillary?

If you want to view a state by state list of the popular vote, Heavy.com lists them all, and they use data from The New York Times as their source. I always use a Liberal source as a reference so no one can accuse me of using "skewed, Right-Wing sources" for information.

It was quite nice finding the site, "The Ring of Fire." It's a veritable "Who's Who" of has-been, miserably failed Liberal Radio Talk hosts.

One of the personalities listed on "Ring of Fire" is The Rotting Corpse Mike Malloy,  Big Time Failed Lefty "talker". If you ever wanted to hear someone who is completely, mentally unhinged and full of hate, it's The Rotting Corpse. He's no longer actually "on-air". He's been relegated to only podcasts. Oh - that's so sad.

I like to think this fossilized sorry-ass excuse for a human being is sitting in a tiny room, talking into the round cardboard insert from a roll of paper towels pretending it's a microphone. Of course, the photo on their site of Malloy is...oh, from 50 years ago or more? His road-map-wrinkled face makes scrotal skin seem as smooth as a baby's ass.

"Ring of Fire"? "Sinking Ship of Has-Been Fools" is more appropriate.

The Rotting Corpse Mike Malloy

Joy Behar and Gun Silencers

Joy Behar, always willing to say things she knows nothing about.

Some may feel that Joy Behar of the internationally renowned think-tank, "The View", is too easy a target to mock because every time she speaks she displays having no knowledge of the subject she is discussing. And the degree of stupidity of her words is the gold standard of the gold standard of gold standards. Know, for a fact, that if Behar is talking, something stupid is being said and with no research on her part to, in advance, learn anything about whatever she's jabbering on about.

She does no research. I guess it's true, you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Here, have a doggie treat, Joy, and go lie down.

Behar has seen too many "Matt Helm" and "James Bond"  movies where a character removes from their inside suit pocket a sleek, cylindrical tube that is a "silencer" and screwing it into the gun barrel, thus being able to assassinate at will without making a sound.

The place: "The View."

The date:  on or about January 25, 2017.

The subject: gun "silencers".

The person: Internationally renowned Firearms Expert:  Joy Behar.

Why write when you can watch it and hear it from The Horse's mouth?

The Left's Anti-Gun Obsession

The preponderance of gun silencers is quite severe, as Behar states. I can speak from experience.

I can barely get one foot out of my front door before being approached by a stranger selling "silencers" - and guns - from their vehicle...usually an unmarked white van. And who can possibly pass up bargains like this?

I phoned "Bill's Gun Shop",  in Minneapolis. They've been around for decades and are a highly respected gun shop

I discussed "silencers" with a very knowledgeable and helpful gentleman who was kind enough to spend a few minutes with me on the telephone..  I wasn't sure if he wanted me to use his name or not, so I'll error on the side of not using it.  And while I have been a customer at Bill's Gun Shop, I have no vested interest in Bill's Gun Shop nor am I receiving any type of compensation in mentioning Bill's Gun Shop.

What you see below is actually a suppressor, not silencer. It suppresses sound.  The science behind suppressors is reducing the sound of a gun shot. It is not possible to completely silence the sound.

The sound of the the gun shot usually breaks the sound barrier; provided the caliber is strong enough to do that.  Your higher caliber handguns - a 9 millimeter, the .45's, the .357's - and most rifles - break the sound barrier.  The suppressor helps reduce this sound.

Suppressors help in the protection of hearing and also help in containing the gases that are created by firing the gun.

Suppressors help enormously in hearing protection. Updated technology and design enables a reduction in recoil . Live Outdoors.com:
These new suppressors, on the other hand, allow the gasses to continue traveling, albeit a lot slower because of the twists and turns they take before they leave the gun. The inside has been likened to a jet engine, which helps to lower bolt velocity to an immeasurable amount. The result is a reduction in the pressure, blow-back and even recoil.
You can search and find many sites that state suppressors do not reduce recoil, but I have to believe the above at Live Outdoors and Accurate Shooter:
If you take an accurate bolt-action rifle in .260 Remington or .308 Winchester and fit a suppressor, the recoil will be noticeably reduced[.]

The gentleman at "Bill's Gun Shop" said that if you seek to legally obtain a suppressor, you will file paperwork with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and an FBI background check will be done.

The current timeframe in applying and obtaining, or being denied, a Suppressor Purchase Permit is eight to twelve months nationwide.

Suppressors are part of The Hearing Protection Act, and the 2017 Congress will have to address it. Guns.com:
The Duncan-Carter Hearing Protection Act was delivered by GOP sponsors U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina and Rep. John Carter of Texas and aims to deregulate suppressors as a safety measure to help promote their use in protecting hearing.
Behar did get one thing right - it had to be by accident. Donald Trump, Jr. does indeed favor lessening the restrictions on purchasing suppressors. The Sacramento Bee:
Donald Trump Jr., an avid hunter who credits his Czech grandfather with getting him interested in the outdoors, headed up his father’s Second Amendment Coalition advisory group and counts himself a huge fan of [making the purchase of suppressors — more commonly known as silencers — easier and cheaper in the United States.]
It's All about loss of Hearing

Now, before all the anti-gun crazies take a breath, claiming that suppressors have nothing to do with hearing, or that there are other ways to deal with the sound of a gun firing, consider the following, from the same SacBee link above:
[Suppressors] may reduce the noise of a gunshot by an average of 20 to 35 decibels – similar to wearing earmuffs or earplugs – but the sound can still be as loud as a jackhammer, according to multiple studies.

At a [demonstration] at the NRA’s small private gun range in Fairfax, Virginia, [.] observers wore both earplugs and earmuffs as they watched an employee fire rounds from four weapons – an AR-15 rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22 LR and a 9mm handgun – with and without a silencer attached. Even with two layers of hearing protection, the sounds were loud.
Again, from the same SacBee link. the anti-Hearing Protection Act rears its ugly head:
“This legislation is nothing more than a transparent giveaway to the gun industry to help sell more silencers and increase profits,” said Chelsea Parsons, vice president, guns and crime policy, for the left-leaning Center for American .
Of course The Left is against The Hearing Protection Act...because it has to do with guns. If The Hearing Protection Act had to do with limiting the noise output of jackhammers, they'd be supporting it in droves.

From Bearing Arms:
A study of the criminal use of suppressors between 1995 and 2005 found only 15 used in crimes – and only two instances of being used in a murder.

For thousands of people around the world, Competitive Shooting is a sport. Suppressors would certainly help protect not only their hearing, but the hearing of spectators.

Suppressors do not muffle or cover  100% of the sound of shooting a gun. Nothing does. Well, it would be interesting to search and learn if a deaf person can sense a sound of the firing of a gun.

The irony of all of this is that you can make your own "silencer" at home. It doesn't take a whole lot of ingenuity, material or skill. I'm not going to provide instructions how to make one. But if you really want to make one, you can.

Suppressors are no different than gun-control. If someone (say, with a criminal record) wants to obtain a gun badly enough, they will - and they'll likely obtain it illegally. If someone wants a suppressor badly enough...they will obtain one. Or make their own.

It is not the law-abiding, permit-holding, conceal and carry citizen anyone needs to fear. Neither is it that same citizen with a suppressor that anyone need fear.

Fear only The Liberals.

Only Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are authorized in using silencers 24/7 worldwide, because they are both way cooler than Helm or Bond.
