A Nice, Clean, Blog Colonoscopy!

That's what I like to see. Found: 0 Results. 😎

A couple times a year I check muh blog out at Lumen

Lumen checks (and also logs) your URL for free but part of that depends if the host reports to Lumen. According to Lumen, it collects reports of complaints, Copyright violation, etc.

Google/Blogger states on their Terms of Service (TOS) they report all complaints to Lumen. I don't know what other platforms report to Lumen (WP, IG, X, etc) because I've no presence online other than here at the Good folks at Blogger. And I mean that.

Short course on Lumen if your host is Blogger (or maybe other Google owned service, like You Tube, again I don't know, never used Lumen for YT).

First, go to Lumen at the link in the first second sentence. Enter full URL. Click Go. You'll get to prove you're NOT a Robot by clicking crosswalks, motorcycles, cars or something. You get the, "Hoo-Ray you're not a Robot, hold on" message.

You'll see your URL and under "the box" a bunch of entries. Ignore them. Unlikely they have anything to do with your site, it's all populated with partial, slight matches that have nothing to do with your results.

What you want to do is click on ADD MORE and narrow your parameters. A sub-menu to pick from for Title, Topic, Tags, Recipient, etc. Then in the ADD MORE box you type in what you want added to the search. You need to click on the ADD MORE button each time to add another specific "drill down" item.

When you've used some or all of ADDS,  click GO or Continue, I forget which. Then, "Taa-Daa", the Results. If you're using Blogger, getting "FOUND: 0 RESULTS" is just what you want to see.

I maintain Google/Blogger TOS. Far too many I see whining, "muh soooooooooshuuullllllll meeeeeeediiiaaaaaa account was suspended or 'I'm ba-ba-banned. Waaaah'!" Well, did you break TOS? "Uhhhh...I really don't know." WTF are they talking about. They know they broke TOS.

My previous Blog Colonoscopy (6 or more months ago) also "FOUND: 0 RESULTS". Who doesn't want to share good colonoscopy news? 🤣

EDIT/ADDED: I am not, in any way, affiliated with Lumen.

Oh noez! Witch Nose!

ACK-K-K-K-K-K-K-K!

Witches Nose!

VIDROY Here  (October 2021), just under 22 minute kvetchfest on witches nose and costumes being anti semitic.

From her description of her vidroy: "Turns out, this harmless-seeming witch Halloween costume has a problematic history, and as a Jewish dress historian, I'm here to explain it."

Calm down. There there. Settle down, Ma'am.

Didn't watch the vidroy. Many comments/replies on the vidroy are of the nature, "thank you for sharing this information on how hurtful a witch costume can be."  "Thank you for pointing out this nose trope."  OY-REEEEE ! The comments are so similar it's like they're from the ten same posters using different accounts.

FFS - find something to do. Bring flowers to a retirement community. Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, a local food shelf or Feeding America. Wait! What's that last one? "no archaeological or scientific evidence of a common Semitic people."

Next on the kvetch list, paper clips in this shape. 🤣

Irrelevant Cindy McCain says late husband John 'wouldn't recognize' today's Republican Party.

SHUT UP PLEBE! MRS. MCCAIN IS SPEAKING! YOU MUST LISTEN TO HER!

Daily Mail: Cindy McCain says late husband John 'wouldn't recognize' today's Republican Party, says 'we've lost our way' and praises Liz Cheney for doing 'what's good for the country' even though it will 'harm her in the end.

Cindy McCain, the widow of the late Senator John McCain, said her husband wouldn't recognize today's Republican Party.

'I don't believe my husband would recognize it,' she told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell.

'I do know one thing, he would be fighting like the dickens to pull it back together,' she said.

She praised Rep. Liz Cheney for doing the 'right thing'.

(Sigh...)

'I do know one thing, he would be fighting like the dickens to pull it back together,' she said.

Ooooooh, this relic is so in touch with the every day people, ain't she? Yep, sure is, youbetcha', like the dickens, she is, I tell ya fer shure.

Nobody cares, little Miss Heiress, who had an affair with a guy while his wife was sickly bedridden, and who later married him. No wonder she went through a phase of being a pill-popper. It's the only way she can live with herself and her sordid past.

Viruses that were on hiatus during Covid are back — and behaving in unexpected ways.

Stat News: Viruses that were on hiatus during Covid are back — and behaving in unexpected ways.

For one thing, because of Covid restrictions, we have far less recently acquired immunity; as a group, more of us are vulnerable right now.

GASP! Immunity? Like natural or herd immunity? Is that something that still exists?

Hit the link, read the story. It's full of...

..."we may experience..."

..."Larger waves of illness could hit..."

..."may bring to light problems we didn’t know..."

..."Diseases could circulate at times or in places when they normally would not."

..."we may be facing a period when it will be difficult to know what to expect from the diseases that we thought we understood."

..."babies born during the pandemic may have entered the world with few antibodies passed on by their mothers in the womb[.]"

..."Maybe, the thinking goes..."

..."there is some suspicion that that could be going on with the hepatitis cases.”

..."recent infection could translate into a very bad flu season."

...“So also, potentially, a bigger, more susceptible group in adults..."

OH - The Money Quote: "We don’t know what’s going to happen."

..."there could be outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases..."

..."we may see differences in severity of some illnesses..."

Maybe. Perhaps. Could. We don't know. Some suspicion. Not sure, BUT. If.... Might be.

They missed using "perchance" - so it must be all very scientific.

Who knew viruses take a hiatus?

Mitt Romney calls on NATO to prepare for potential Russian nukes.

NY Post: Mitt Romney calls on NATO to prepare for potential Russian nukes.

The US and its NATO allies should prepare a “devastating” response to potential Russian nuclear action, Sen. Mitt Romney said on Saturday.
[.]
“Russia’s use of a nuclear weapon would unarguably be a redefining, reorienting geopolitical event,” Romney, 75, wrote.

We should imagine the unimaginable, specifically how we would respond militarily and economically to such a seismic shift in the global geopolitical terrain.”

The former presidential candidate presented several options available to western allies in addition to a nuclear response if a “cornered and delusional” Russian President Vladimir Putin deployed a nuclear weapon.

Dr. Scarf says, prepare for surge of covid this summer "across the Southern border of the United States."

"We should be preparing right now for a potential surge in the summer across the southern United States because we saw it in 2020 and we saw it in 2021," Birx said in an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation."
[.]
Birx forecasted the country's summer surge following her observations on South Africa, which is currently experiencing what local health officials and scientists claimed was a fifth wave of COVID-19 infections caused by omicron's BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants.

Why would omicron increase near the southern U.S.? Does Dr. Schaf mean, like ... border states? Well, the CDC and NIH are checking everyone crossing the border to make sure they're covid-free, aren't they?

It's only the fifth wave of BA.4 and BA.5? Heck, I thought it was much worse than that. I figured we're closing in on the twentieth wave of the Almighty Deadly And Unpossible To Avoid teh Coof. So it sounds like we're doing pretty well.

Think of how much off worse everything would be if it weren't only the fifth wave.

Anyway, yeah Dr. Scarf...because she was right on so many things in the past.

Fearmongering, attempting to instill a permanent anxiety and panic attack aimed at the most vulnerable people, using anything and everything - any possible issue - is what these people are paid to do.

Minnesota golfers as selfish and stupid as Spring Break students.

The Guardian: The spring breakers now regret partying.
...the University of Tampa has confirmed that at least five of those [Spring break] students have tested positive [for Covid-19].
KSTPPetition to keep golf courses open during stay at home order gains thousands of signatures.
Most golf courses are closed as part of the stay at home order, but many Minnesotans argue it's an activity that should be allowed.
[.]
[John] Potter is the director of instruction at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury. He started a petition to open courses during this order, and it generated about 15,000 signatures in less than two days.
[.]
"With this virus going around we can obviously maintain safe distances, where I hit the ball, especially, no one goes," [said said Tom Moore, who lives in Woodbury.]
[.]
Potter hopes the voices of the golfers are heard.

"There's no reason to be closed, let's get it open," Potter said.
The preferred golf ball of PGA champions.

I really don't see why golf courses can't be open (with some restrictions for indoor areas), but that won't stop me from playing Devil's Advocate.

We can reach at least two reasonable conclusions:

1) Mr. Potter has a vested financial interest in petitioning against Minnesota's  "shelter-in-place" order issued by DEM Gov. Timmy "Ham-Head" Walz.

2) Mr. Moore can't golf worth a shit and his ball ends up in the rough more times than not.

Golf, cough, sneeze, get Covid-19 and please...drop dead anywhere other than on the green or you'll delay the golfers playing the hole behind you.

Your corpse in a bunker or sand trap would be nice. At least some golfer might be able to bounce their shot of your bloated body and onto the green instead of chipping out.

Just a reminder in this Chinese Wuhan Corona Virus pandemic...Wash your balls. Golf balls.

Greta Thunberg may have coronavirus.

Greta Thunberg says she may have contracted coronavirus and has self-isolated at home with her father.

The teenage climate activist said she appeared to have been infected along with her dad, actor Svante Thunberg.

Both began having symptoms after a recent train tour of Europe together and so have been in isolation for the last weeks, she said.

They were travelling in Europe before lockdowns were imposed by many governments across the continent in a bid to halt the spread of the virus.

In an Instagram post today, Thunberg said she suffered shivers, a sore throat, a cough and felt tired after travelling [sic] with her father from Brussels.
I kind of wondered how long this media whore would be bumped out of the limelight due to Covid-19. Was her European train tour carbon neutral? Was it a solar or wind-turbine powered train? Why did she feel entitled to a train tour? Because she's special. How Dare She! How Dare She!!

And yeah - this story gets filed under the department of "Ask Me if I Give A Flying Fuck".

Men are "invading" a women's "sanctuary". Caitlin and Kaitlin are upset!

Oh, no! Women are upset!

NY Post: Men are showing up to the Wing and women are pissed.
The Wing was supposed to be the ultimate sanctuary for women: decidedly feminine in design, with walls and furniture in shades of millennial pink and a thermometer set at a women’s-clothing-friendly 72 degrees. Conference rooms and telephone booths are named after feminist icons like Anita Hill and fictional literary heroines such as Hermione Granger of “Harry Potter” fame. It offers perks that other co-working spaces can’t match — showers stocked with high-end beauty products and events featuring big names such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Critics of the Wing were quick to point out the lack of diversity in the spaces, but the company’s expansion and popularity has brought up a completely different issue that was never expected to arise: straight men wanting to come in and hang out.

Sure, it’s not against the rules for men to be at the lady lair, which costs anywhere from $185 to $250 a month in the US to join. But that’s only because legally the company can’t ban men.

There’s usually at least one [man] whenever I visit,” says Kaitlin Phillips, 29, a member in New York for the past two years. “It’s bizarre to choose to occupy a space women specifically wanted for themselves. Classic patriarchal entitlement complex.” (Hey Kaitlin, does "you reap what you sow" ring a bell? - DD)
[.]
“At first it was jarring,” says a 30-year-old longtime New York member, who asked to not be named. “It started about a year ago and it’s getting worse. A guy even checked me out a few weeks ago. The whole purpose of the space is to not have to deal with anything like that.” (How does she know a woman has never "checked her out"? -DD)
[.]
The Wing’s large membership — more than 11,000 worldwide, according to reps — meant it couldn’t pass as a “social club,” and therefore can’t discriminate based on gender. This, coupled with a lawsuit brought by a 53-year-old man (GOOD FOR HIM! - DD) earlier this year claiming gender discrimination, led the Wing to formally adopt a membership policy: “The Wing is a space designed for women with a women’s-focused mission. Members and guests are welcome regardless of their perceived gender or gender identity. Recognizing that gender identity is not always consistent with someone’s sex assigned at birth, we do not ask members or guests to self-identify.”
[.]
But all of the women The Post spoke to had the same questions: Why would a man want to go to the Wing, anyway? Just because he can? (YES! YES! JUST BECAUSE WE CAN! DEAL WITH IT. - DD)
[.]
Up until about a year or so ago, when the space was truly a women-only sanctuary, members said they could comfortably walk around braless in a robe after a shower. Now, they say, they’re constantly looking over their shoulders, wondering who the loud dude chewing his lunch is. (Ummmm, yeah - because women never do anything annoying. Ever. - DD)

Numerous California members tell The Post that the phenomenon is getting out of hand. (The horror and indignity of it all. - DD)

It’s just annoying,” says Caitlin White, a 31-year-old West Hollywood member who sees at least one man working in the space each day. “Why do men need to be there? Why can’t they respect the spirit of the place? Men have to have everything.” (YES! YES! Men have to have EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! - DD)
[.]
I glare at the men and I glare at the members who bring them,” says the anonymous New York member. (Ooooh - she sounds hostile. Sounds like someone needs Anger Management therapy? - DD)
Above from The Wing's home page. There's no scientific basis supporting their trite little motto.

I thought Scrapbooking was Teh Women's Sanctuary. Am I wrong?

Such intolerance from these women at The Wing. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.

Now Accepting New Members! MEN Only!

Pardon me, Ms. Fiorina, but nobody gives a fuck about what you think about impeachment.

The former Hewlett-Packard CEO told CNN on "Boss Files with Poppy Harlow" that she sees the President's conduct as impeachable and "destructive to the republic."
Carly should stick to what she does best; grinding tech companies into financial distress.

Wiki: Carly Fiorina's forced resignation from Hewlett-Pacard.
HP's revenue doubled and the rate of patent filings increased due to mergers with Compaq and other companies during Fiorina's stint as CEO. In addition, HP's cash flow increased by 40%, to around $6.8 billion. However, the company underperformed by a number of other metrics: there were no gains in HP's net income despite a 70% gain in net income of the S&P 500 over this period; the company's debt rose from US$4.25 billion to US$6.75 billion; and its stock price fell by 50%, exceeding declines in the S&P 500 Information Technology Sector index and the NASDAQ.
[.]
...the board brought back Tom Perkins and forced Fiorina to resign as chair and chief executive officer of the company. The company's stock jumped 6.9 percent on news of her departure, adding almost three billion dollars to the value of HP in a single day.
Read more at Fortune (September 2015): Carly Fiorina’s disastrous record as HP’s CEO.

Depending on sources, Fiorina is worth $60 million or between $30 to $100 million.

In March, 2016, she endorsed Senator Ted Cruz as the only Republican who can beat then-candidate Donald Trump. Good call, Carly, good call. Dice or a Magic 8-Ball on that one?

Finally, in September, 2016, she publicly voiced her support for Donald Trump for President.

Good call on that endorsement, Carly. See - for all of us - the goal is to make the right decision, or the better decision, more often than making the wrong one. This can be an elusive deliberation sometimes.

What fun it would be sitting around with the H-P BODs during her tenure, having a few drinks, listening to them recall their time with Carly as the CEO. I bet a lot of the stories would begin with...
"Remember the time Carly suggested that we [fill in the blank]," followed by riotous laughter.
"Remember when Carly said she wanted to be the president," followed by lungs being hacked up from laughter.
Fiorina now drags herself out of her plastic bubble for an appearance on the biased CNN for no reason other than to dump on Trump. That chip on Carly's shoulder must be a big and permanent one.
