House can act fast when it wants to.

Rather, is told to.

NBC News: U.S. House votes to sanction international court over warrants for Netanyahu and other Israeli officials.

The House voted Tuesday to impose sanctions against the International Criminal Court for its move to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials for war crimes in the nation's war against Hamas.

The vote was 247-155, with nearly every Republican and a few dozen Democrats voting for it. Two Republicans, Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio, voted present.

Wow. Talk about fast-acting!

"Oy! Help us war criminals avoid ICC arrest!"

RINOs and UniParty reply in unison: "Say no more."

Ukraine and Israel say gimme money now! SNAP! House ensures they get it. Senate passes it within days.

Ban TikTok! SNAP! "Say no more, Master!" House and Senate coalesce in no time flat.

Meanwhile, in America

Some Americans, devastated by these disasters, are ineligible for Federal Assistance from flooding and tornadoes? Others have to apply? Why? DC rains money down on Ukraine and Israel - they don't have to apply, they just demand it - so why aren't U.S. states a priority and treated the same? Follow the money. Following the money is never the wrong answer.

Massie easily won his race against the AIPAC sponsored opponent, whose campaign failed miserably.

New Arab: AIPAC lose bet in Kentucky primary race against Republican critical of Israel.

"After spending $400k+ smearing me, and watching me get 75%+ in the race tonight, they claim they weren't playing in the race. They deserve the ratio here," Massie wrote in another post, in which he shared the lobby group's statement that they were not playing in his race.

Good for Massie.

I'm hoping Americans affected by the excessive heat, fires, flooding and tornadoes aren't planning on voting Democrat this year. How can you?

Jeb DeSantis drops STRUGGLING presidential bid.

AP (Yahoo): Ron DeSantis ends his struggling presidential bid before New Hampshire and endorses Donald Trump.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended his Republican presidential campaign Sunday on the eve of the New Hampshire primary and endorsed Donald Trump, ending a White House bid that failed to meet expectations that he would emerge as a serious challenger to the former president.

“It’s clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance," he said in a video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary comes Tuesday.
[.]
And now, DeSantis’ political future is in question after suspending his presidential bid after just one voting contest. The 45-year-old is term limited as Florida governor.

It was just 48 hours ago - Friday, January 19, 2024 - DeSantis said he's, the only candidate who’s not running a ‘basement campaign’.

Good. Now I don't have to edit or proofread any Draft posts in the hopper I had why voters shouldn't support Jeb D.

Newly-Unveiled Nevada Caucus App for DEMS.

The Open Source Election Technology (OSET) Institute began its Twitter thread Sunday...
[.]
"Deja Vu; this time in NV," OSET's first tweet read. "Let's be clear from the start: their's is an 'App' and no designation of 'tool' changes that. Let's stop playing word games here. The fact that its pre-loaded & may not use mobile connectivity is the only 'difference.'"
[.]
OSET also wrote that the same issues with the app used in Iowa appeared to be present with Nevada's tool: "lack of adequate testing (all aspects); transparent code vetting; training (read the article in #1 above) [sic]; security audit; and above all, resiliency planning."

The organization also called for the NDP (NV Democrat Party) to be more "transparent," and an answer a plethora of questions about the tool: Who developed the tool? Who has tested it? How it will be used to report the results of the caucus?

"In short, if the DNC & NDP want to improve *trust* in all of this, then do the right things," OSET suggested.
[.]
The institute predicted that "the DNC & NDP will *not* engender any trust by failing to completely answer these questions" and that there will be problems with the app on Caucus Day.

"Please prove us wrong," read the final tweet in the thread.

The Nevada Independent: Nevada Democrats debut to volunteers new iPad-based ‘tool’ to calculate math on Caucus Day in the wake of Iowa fiasco.
Another volunteer, who asked for anonymity to speak openly about the training process, said the general sentiment in the room at the training was frustration and confusion

Dear Iowa, The NY Times says your caucus is a relic, your system antiquated, you're too white and the App debacle is YOUR FAULT!

Two elitist NYT columnists blame Iowa for what is directly the fault of the DNC. Monday's Iowa Caucus (why, yes, it does seem like it was five months ago), could have been done by paper balloting and, within a matter of hours, tabulated with reliable and accurate results.

But no. The Democrat National Committee, and its Chair Tom Perez (who promised this would be the most "transparent caucus ever"), had a new, shiny blue bouncing ball to employ in their precious Iowa Democrat Caucus - an App - and they all piddled themselves silly with technology glee. Of course, what happened in the Democrat Iowa Caucus is fully self-inflicted by the DNC and DEM party bigwigs who hate Bernie Sanders. They will do anything to derail his candidacy.

Count on (at least) two writers from the NYT, scrambling to rescue the DNC and put all the blame on stupid, racist Iowa.

Iowa is way too white to have so much influence. So is New Hampshire, for that matter. As a party with a diverse electorate, the Democrats should not be spending so much time and money catering to such a monochromatic subset.
[.]
There is a strong argument to be made that no single state deserves to hold the rest of the electorate hostage the way Iowa has for decades.
[.]
So, thank you, Iowa. This may be the most you have taught the electorate in a long while. Now take your bows, and step aside.
"A monochromatic subset." Okay, then. Instead the DEM candidate should be...uh...the polychromatic Mike Bloomberg?

Step aside, Iowa, the DNC doesn't need or want you. You no longer serve their purposes.

DNC Chair Tom Perez Calls for ‘Immediate Recanvass’ in Iowa.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez called on the Iowa Democratic Party on Thursday to “immediately begin a recanvass” in the state after the caucus disaster earlier this week. “Enough is enough,” Perez tweeted, citing the “problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results.” The Daily Beast reported that a DNC aide defined Perez’s “recanvass” as a hand audit of caucus math worksheets and reporting forms to make sure that they were correctly tallied and reported in the telephone intake sheets and caucus reporting app.

How's the Iowa Caucus Going? Tech bigwigs disgusted by Sanders (They hate you, Bernie). Nevada won't use App.

They're still counting in Iowa.

Leaders of the Democratic tech firm that was behind the Iowa caucus app debacle openly expressed their hostility toward Bernie Sanders supporters on a regular basis, according to a new report.
[.]
...Nevada Democratic officials said in a statement Tuesday that the party will not be using the Shadow app for its February caucus.
Well, that doesn't sound like Democrats, does it? Giving up on a brand new, shiny tech App? Usually, we can count on DEMS to keep doing what they've done in the past, even when they know whatever it is doesn't work. Often, DEMS throw more money at whatever "it" is, hoping that will fix the problem. Rare that they abandon something just because it fails, epically, the first time.

I think Nevada should use the App. C'mon DEMS, you're big believers in second chances, right? Use the App in Nevada. What are the odds what happened in the Iowa caucus will occur again in Nevada?

DNC "Technical Difficulties" in Iowa? Biden 4th place in poll.

Hitting some Chans and other boards, the DNC is up to its usual dirty tricks because Bernie is the clear winner in Iowa. The DNC is trying to reduce the degree of his win, or, somehow, produce a "different winner."

A "technical difficulty" within the DNC is being blamed for delays. An App crash. Ah, the old App Crash ploy. That can only mean Hillary is in town with her hammer in hand. The fix is in against Bernie.

The Washington Examiner: Biden in fourth place.
A highly respected Iowa poll that was canceled from being released amid integrity issues had Joe Biden in fourth place, which could have drastically altered the news cycle and voter considerations in the days before Monday's Democratic caucuses.

According to leaked results verified by FiveThirtyEight, the final Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom poll of likely Democratic caucus-goers before Monday's first-in-the-nation caucuses had Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders leading with 22%, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren in second at 18%, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg with 16%, and the former vice president in fourth with 13%.

The poll, often called the "gold standard" measure of Iowa, was scheduled to be released Sunday, but after an Iowa City man contacted for the poll reportedly complained that Buttigieg was not listed as an option when asked about his preferred candidate, officials did not release the results out of an abundance of caution.

"Today, a respondent raised an issue with the way the survey was administered, which could have compromised the results of the poll. It appears a candidate’s name was omitted in at least one interview in which the respondent was asked to name their preferred candidate," Des Moines Register executive editor Carol Hunter said in a statement Saturday. "While this appears to be isolated to one surveyor, we cannot confirm that with certainty. Therefore, the partners made the difficult decision to not to move forward with releasing the Iowa Poll."
It's clear the DNC doesn't want Bernie and will do everything possible to pull the rug out from under him - again. With the Buttigieg complaint of his name not listed, maybe the DNC doesn't want him either?

Accusations of irregularities by the second and third-place candidates will hit the media immediately. Claims of something being "unfair" will echo all night and into the morning. Count on it.

The truth is...it's Russia. Ssshhhhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Fire Fighters appear being held against their will at Biden Iowa Rally.

In Iowa, Biden is not just chasing votes and delegates. He’s chasing cash.

A disappointing finish in the state, where there are four candidates bunched in the top tier in polls, could dampen his online fundraising at a crucial juncture.
That is some prime, astute journalism from The Times. "A candidate who finishes poorly in a primary could lose some degree of fundraising." No one would have concluded that on their own.

Those poor Fire Fighters. I bet they were told, unofficially of course, they have to attend. Do they look like they want to be there?

Wind Turbine Blades Dumped In Landfills: 50,000 Tons Of Non-Recyclable Toxic Garbage.

Funny, no one seemed to consider what to do with the massive amount of wind turbine blades once they reached the end of their lifespan.  Thus, the irony of the present-day Green Energy Movement is the dumping of thousands of tons of “non-recyclable” supposedly renewable wind turbine blades in the country’s landfills.

Who would have thought? What’s even worse, is that the amount of wind turbine blades slated for waste disposal is forecasted to quadruple over the next fifteen years as a great deal more blades reach their 15-20 year lifespan.
[.]
Hundreds of giant windmill blades are being shipped to a landfill in Wyoming to be buried because they simply can’t be recycled.  Local media reports several wind farms in the state are sending over 900 un-reusable blades to the Casper Regional Landfill to be buried. While nearly 90 percent of old or decommissioned wind turbines, like the motor housing, can be refurbished or at least crushed, fiberglass windmill blades present a problem due to their size and strength.
[.]
Wyoming isn’t the only landfill accepting worn-out wind turbine blades. They are also being dumped in IOWA and SOUTH DAKOTA [sic].
[.]
The wind turbine blades are a toxic amalgam of unique composites, fiberglass, epoxy, polyvinyl chloride foam, polyethylene terephthalate foam, balsa wood, and polyurethane coatings.
We won't ever have to worry about these toxins seeping into water supplies because that could never happen.

Biden calls Iowa voter a "damn liar" and "fat" in deranged meltdown during question about Hunter and Burisma.

At a New Hampton, Iowa, town hall, a voter asked, “We all know Trump has been messing around in Ukraine over there holding there foreign aid for them to come up saying they are going to investigate you. We all know about that … But you, on the other hand, sent your son over there to get a job and work for a gas company that he had no experience with gas or nothing in order to get access for the president. So you are selling access to the president just like he was.”

Biden said, “You’re a damn liar, man. That’s not true. And no one has ever said that.”

The voter added, “I see it on the TV.”

Biden said, “You see it on the TV. No, I know you do. And by the way, I’m not sedentary. I get up … Let him go. Let him go. The voter added, “It looks like you don’t have anymore backbone than Trump does.”
NY Post: Meet the man who says Biden has a ‘wet noodle for a backbone’.
The Iowa man who challenged Joe Biden during a campaign event on Thursday told The Post he had no regrets about the heated exchange.

“I’m positive 90% of the people there didn’t know about his son working on the board in Ukraine. I wanted it brought out there,” said 83-year-old Merle Gorman, referring to Biden’s son Hunter’s job at a Ukrainian gas company.
[.]
Gorman, who said he is a Marine Corps veteran and retired farmer, went to the event because it was taking place a couple of blocks from his home, and was spurred to ask about Hunter’s Ukraine dealings after hearing the other questions from the crowd.

All the others were softballs questions, they might as well have been asking him what color the chandelier was in the vice president’s office,” Gorman said.

I wish he had explained in a decent tone of voice why he got his son in that position over there and in my opinion he had no business whatsoever sticking his nose over there.”
[.]
Gorman, who said he voted for Barack Obama, said he liked Elizabeth Warren and would also gladly see Pete Buttigieg, Cory Booker or Andrew Yang on the ticket.

“I would love any of them except Joe Biden,” he said. “He’s been there all his life …”

Joe Biden says he never discussed Ukraine dealings with son Hunter.

A Steak Fry? Don't they know steak is killing Mother Earth?

Campaigning in Iowa this morning, DEM Joe Biden told FOX News' Peter Doocy that he, "never spoke with his son [Hunter] on any of his overseas business dealings."

This is more bullshittery from the doddering, hair-sniffn', groping ex-VP.

We're to believe that not once, ever, did Dementia Joe discuss with his cokehead son Hunter, his job and work overseas.

Uh huh. Because fathers never talk to their sons about the work they do. Ever. Or, this is another incident of Joe's senility kicking in again. Hell, Biden doesn't know if Vermont is a state or a town.

Let's give Pervy Joe the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he really never did speak with Hunter about his Ukraine business dealings. Instead, they used Flashcards.

The video and story is at Daily Beast.

Biden draws crowds in the teens. Biden tells Peter Doocy, "I'm a big boy."

Biden attracts crowd "in the teens" on Tuesday in Iowa.

Joe Biden surprised to hear his crowd size is not the largest:

Video via You Tube
"What I'm trying to do is go around from town to town and I'm drawing as big of crowds, or bigger than anybody," Biden said in Iowa on Tuesday. "Have you seen anybody draw bigger crowds than me in this state?"

"Yes," Doocy responded before noting that he saw a bigger crowd for Sen. Elizabeth Warren when she visited Des Moines in January.

"The vice president didn't seem to like that because a few minutes later, he singled me out," Doocy said on "Special Report."

Biden told Doocy he was a "big boy" and could handle Doocy allegedly coming after him. "I mean, I know you, I know you're going to go after me no matter what I've got. Yeah, you and it's OK. Good. I'm a big boy. I can handle it," he said.
Biden makes a statement that is factually incorrect, gets questioned on it, and his response is, "you're going to go after me." If Joe could say something accurate, there wouldn't be a need to question him. Joe doesn't understand this. He's entitled to his own facts propaganda - and no one can question him.
