A dying John McCain continued doing his best in pushing the false Steele anti-Trump dossier to James Comey.

Late Senator John McCain provided disgraced former FBI chief James Comey with five separate reports from Christopher Steele that the FBI didn’t previously possess related to unsubstantiated allegations of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the Justice Department’s recent Inspector General report revealed.

There have long been questions about why it was necessary for McCain to pass Steele’s anti-Trump dossier to Comey on December 9, 2016, several weeks after the November 2016 presidential election. By then, Steele had already met numerous times with FBI agents to provide them with his controversial reports. Steele, however, was terminated as an FBI source in the fall of 2016 because he spoke to the news media.
[.]
The IG report also verifies that a McCain aid obtained the Steele reports directly from Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, meaning that when McCain transferred the anti-Trump charges to Comey he had to have known that the material originated with a firm that specializes in controversial opposition tactics.
[.]
States the IG report:

Several weeks later, on December 9, 2016, Senator John McCain provided Corney with a collection of 16 Steele election reports, 5 of which Steele had not given the FBI. McCain had obtained these reports from a staff member at the McCain Institute. The McCain Institute staff member had met with Steele and later acquired the reports from Simpson.
[.]
Prior to his death, McCain admitted to personally handing the dossier to Comey but he refused repeated requests for comment about whether he had a role in providing the dossier to BuzzFeed, including numerous inquiries sent to his office by this reporter.

In his book published last year, McCain maintained he had an “obligation” to pass the dossier charges against Trump to Comey and he would even do it again. “Anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell,” McCain exclaimed.
Doing work so dirty even the DEMS didn't want to touch it. But McCain? He was only too happy and eager to oblige. And with pride...while he was dying.

You're handed a death sentence - a terminal diagnosis. You have limited time remaining on this planet. Who spends that time consumed with hatred and bitterness for a person they define as their "political nemesis"? You'd have to ask the McCain family, especially daughter Meghan and The Widow Cindy.

The world universe revolves around Meg Griffin Meghan McCain

Meg Griffin Meghan McCain

It does, you know - - - everything revolves around Meg Griffin Meghan McCain:

Hey, who doesn't love a guy who leaves his disfigured and handicapped wife for a WEALTHY and much younger woman? People.com
Within a year of meeting [future second wife] Cindy, the still-married McCain, then 43, asked the 25-year-old Cindy to marry him.
[.]
[Said McCain's first wife Carol Shepp], "He was looking for a way to be young again, and that was the end of that. I didn’t know anything about it, I had no idea what was going on, I was pretty much blindsided and it broke my heart.”
NewsOne: Cindy McCain steals vicodin and percocet from her own charity. I wonder if she swilled them down with Budweiser?

John McCain was...I'll be nice and not call him a POS...a miserable, bitter, envious, tiny little man.

The Phoenix New Times describes McCain as the Most Reprehensible of the Keating Five.

ShadowProof: John McCain lives the Keating Five Lush Highlife.

Business Insider: McCain the one who received the phony Steele dossier. And man, did McCain "run" with this report out of his hatred for President Donald Trump.

I hear he's been bestowed Sainthood.

Pudgy Meghan? She's not missing any meals or at risk of eating too few calories per day:

John McCain - Bitter Until Death?

How can one remain so bitter at the end of their life? If one believes in an afterlife, and I believe that John McCain does, and you have a terminal medical issue and your time is limited; how can you hold on to, and foster, such bitterness until the very end?

I've never been a supporter of McCain, a RINO who disappointed Republicans by siding with Dems far too often.

I appreciate his service to our country. Was he "Songbird John" as some suggest? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. There's a limited number of people who know if he was or wasn't. Does it matter at this stage?

"It doesn't matter, he's dying anyway,"  the remark from White House press aide Kelly Sadler. Whether it was said or meant with invective or not, so what? It's not like this remark triggered bitterness in McCain, as if prior to the remark his entire lifetime demeanor was "Mister Holly Jolly Christmas."

Are "distasteful remarks" now the new standard of judgment? If so, let's not pretend that this is the only distasteful remark made by a politician. There are plenty of distasteful and/or disrespectful remarks made by EVERYONE. Chances are, that since you woke up this morning, you've made a distasteful remark about someone or some thing. Is this how you want to be judged?

When people remember John McCain after he passes, does he want the first recollections of him to be, "bitter until the end," or, "Oh, that Maverick McCain, he sure gave Trump the 'fuck you' when he said he didn't want Trump at his funeral."

McCain meddled in affairs in which he had no business being involved, the least egregious being The Keating Five.

His major pissing points appear to be not being elected president and Trump's remark of "I like people who don't get captured."  His thumbs down vote against repeal of ObamaCare was nothing more than another "fuck you" to Trump.

His presidential campaign sucked and he is solely responsible for his loss, not Sarah Palin, not this or that or anything else. In his first presidential debate with Barack Obama, McCain came across as an angry, bitter old fuck. Is this someone I want as my president? Nope. I sat that election out and have no regrets.

You're dying Senator - - do you really want to hold onto bitterness until your last gasp?

McCain Shoots Own Party...Again. Kills OCARE Repeal

Who didn't see this coming from Pretend Republican John McCain? The L.A. Times:
Sen. John McCain is usually happy to spar with reporters, but he ducked into an elevator ahead of the Senate healthcare vote late Thursday without saying a word about how he would vote.

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, though, already knew the answer.
[.]
The [voting] moment stunned the Senate when McCain stepped up to cast his vote — a single down-turned finger — dooming the healthcare bill. Audible gasps filled the galleries, which were packed with onlookers.
Oh, of course the intellectual Liberal Schumer is a clairvoyant. Can you just picture it; his glasses on the tip of his nose, squinting devilish eyes, head cocked downward with that "we just crucified Christ" sneer, saying, "I knew how he'd vote." Schumer's Svengali hold over McCain for so many years is truly an enigmatic mystery. Or maybe McCain is channeling Ted Kennedy?

And McCain taking refuge in an elevator to avoid the press? This must me a "first".

Also joining McCain in voting against their own party was Maine's Pretend Republican Susan Collins and Alaska's Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, of which her vote - I think - is a bit surprising. I thought so, did you?

Pretend Republican and McCain lapdog Lindsey Graham...do I have to finish the sentence? YES - I do...he voted FOR repeal. But, the devil in the details tells me he voted this way knowing ahead of time of how the final vote would come down.

McCain did what he did because he's a petty and vindictive individual. His vote and cajoling of fellow Pretend Republicans is no surprise. McCain is jealous and envious that Donald Trump is the President and McCain hasn't healed, nor will he, in knowing he will never be president.

Still, being Emperor of The North Pole has to be rewarding, doesn't it?

I intended to end the post after the above image. But then I thought - what has Schumer accomplished in all his many years in the Senate.

Well, besides being strongly Alt-Left and always the first person in D.C. to find an MSM microphone and a camera to convey his drivel, he's voted with his party line at the expense of being a total hypocrite. And being a hypocrite never bothers Liberals.

In January 2017, prior to the Trump Inauguration, Schumer said infrastructure tax cuts aren't worth considering.

He did vote for OCare, which can be considered the largest tax hike ever. Why did he vote this way? Because at that time, the president was a Democrat Socialist and Schumer goose-steps along with his fellow Marxists.

In 2014, Schumer called OCare a mistake. His comrades came down on him hard.

In 2011, Schumer supported tax credits for Higher Education.

May, 2015, saw Schumer supporting corporate tax credits for "clean energy."

July, 2014, Schumer supports tax credits for bio-gas.

August, 2015, Schumer supports tax credits for solar power.

December, 2013, Schumer supports rail tax credits.

March, 2016, Schumer asked Republicans to join the Dems in their support of Obama Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.

March, 2013,  2017 *, Schumer wanted to filibuster Neil Gorsuch, Trump nominee for the Supreme Court.

In 2007, Schumer threatened to block all Supreme Court nominees of then-President George W. Bush.

Enough. Schumer does whatever is politically and personally expedient. Nothing that anyone paying attention doesn't already know.

Groucho, left; Karl, right. No, they were not related.

Losing Presidential Candidate John McCain Still Angry, Still Bitter; Confused, but claims is "still Emperor of The North Pole"

It must be sad being Pretend Republican John McCain. He so desperately wanted to be the president. But not everything in life that is wanted is obtained.

McCain told The Guardian that, America's standing in the world was stronger under Barack Obama than under Donald Trump.

Can anyone say "dementia"?  Here are some songs to sing along with for people with dementia. I think McCain should settle down and sing along with the songs. Who can resist that siren song, "My Darling Clementine"? Certainly not John McCain.

In other news, McCain did reaffirm and re-establish his self appointed role as Emperor of The North Pole.

McCain jumped from one issue to another, telling the Wales newspaper, "No one better try to take the North Pole away from me, damn it, or there will be hell to pay, I kid you not oh my Darling Clementine. Those aren't my boots. When do we leave for our vacation to Mesopotamia?"

Nix on the Lieberman Pick, Mister President

Former Democrat turned Independent U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman is the front-runner for FBI Director. BBC News:
US President Donald Trump has said he could announce a replacement for former FBI director James Comey as early as this week, and former Senator Joe Lieberman was among his top choices.
[.]
[Lieberman], 75, is a Democrat-turned-Independent who endorsed John McCain in 2008 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. He was the Democratic vice-presidential candidate on the 2000 ticket with Al Gore. Mr Lieberman lost the Democratic primary in 2006 but kept his seat as an "independent Democrat" in the general election.
No.

No, no, no...Mr. President, no. Why would you do this?

What qualifies him for an Intelligence job, one of the most important jobs in Intelligence?  His long history in politics as a Senator? As a VP candidate where his party lost? As a Hillary Clinton loyalist?

He supported Hillary Clinton in last year's presidential election. That alone disqualifies him, unless...unless in Trump's Grand Plan is to eventually turn Lieberman loose on prosecuting Hillary, but can anyone really see Lieberman doing this? Not going to happen.

I don't want this to sound like I'm an ageist, but can't we find someone under the age of...oh...say...65...or 60...that is qualified to run the FBI?

McCain and Lieberman

Consider the following, from CNN:
Former Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman came to the defense of his former colleague Senator John McCain for his criticism of the raid in Yemen. Lieberman said in a fight between McCain and just about anybody else [ That means you, President Trump. - DD ] he would side with the war hero.
McCain is always on the lookout for some way in which he can criticize Trump.

Here is how Lieberman voted  on several bills. Note, he received 100% approval from NARAL.

Remember, The Left considered Lieberman not Liberal enough, ousted him from the party and replaced him with multi-multi millionaire Ned Lamont.

The Left hated Lieberman and attacked him mercilessly.

I like Joe Lieberman, I never would have voted for him had I lived in Connecticut, and I always thought he seems to be a decent man among the usual collection of perverted politicians. I don't think he's qualified to be running the FBI.

McCain Doing his Best to help Democrats

Sad John McCain

Pretend Republican John McCain said the so-called "Trump Scandals", are "reaching a Watergate size and scale." The Hill (so sorry, I try never to link to them):
McCain made the statement at an International Republican Institute dinner on Tuesday night. Multiple reporters said that during a speech at the event, McCain compared recent reports surrounding Trump's administration to Watergate, which led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
Who needs Democrats when you have McCain?

McCain also said he thought talk of impeachment is not a rational approach. Washington Examiner:
Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, called for Trump's impeachment in a Wednesday floor speech. "This is where I stand," Green said. "I will not be moved. The president must be impeached."

That's not "rational," according to McCain[.]
Well, McCain can change his mind and be pro-impeachment in a matter of hours, if not minutes.

And as for Al Green...his accomplishments seem to be being LOUD and being arrested with play-date George cLooney.

It's times like this when Caligula made perfect sense:
[Caligula] had an inherent dislike and contempt for the Senators, maintaining they were useless. [Little has changed. - DD]. To belittle them he most probably threatened to appoint his horse to the Senate as the horse would most probably do a better job.

Saturday, May 13, 2017

Dear John McCain...

...would you please just stick a "D" after your name so we can move forward knowing who you really are, and have been for many, many years. The Hill:
More recently, McCain has taken aim at the president over his decision to fire FBI Director James Comey, a decision he called disappointing. He told foreign officials on Tuesday at a meeting of the Munich Security Conference that if Trump hoped to interrupt the FBI's ongoing Russia investigation it would not work.

"I regret it, I think it’s unfortunate," McCain said. "The president does have that constitutional authority. But I can’t help but think that this is not a good thing for America."
Ah...McLame criticizes the President of the United States and the U.S. while feet planted firmly on foreign soil. It's right out of the playbook from The Left. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama must be so proud of McCain.

When will the likes of McCain and Lindsey Graham grasp the fact that the "Russia[n]" story is a ruse; completely FakeStream™ Media? Answer: McCain and other RINOs like him will never realize this is fake news and if they do, they will never admit it.

I expect nothing but Liberals grandstanding from abroad as they diss the U.S. and the president. I didn't think we'd be dealing with this type of behavior from John McCain. Wait - I retract that. This is the type of behavior I do expect from bitter, losing presidential candidate John McCain.

McCain, joining with and doing the same as the Democrats, keeps the Russian hacking theory alive.

If McCain is such a Techie, and is so damned knowledgeable about hacking, don't you think, then, that he should know what an Exit Node is?
Committee chairman and Republican Arizona Senator John McCain used strong language during the hearing, including saying that the alleged hack was "an unprecedented attack on our democracy.”

When questioned by a Sputnik reporter following the hearing about the debunking of the Joint Annual Report by security experts, including the finding that 43 percent of the IP addresses attributed to ‘Russian hackers’ were generic web-browser Tor exit nodes, the Senator responded by saying that he had “no idea” what she was talking about.
Can the voters of Arizona recall McCain's Senatorial election?

I'm not being ageist, at least I don't think I am and my intention is not that; but McCain is too old to be of service to his country. He's put in many years of service, it's time he retires as an active politician.

I'm sorry, but the health of our republic can no longer be left in the hands of politicians who are too old to grasp technology. And this applies to all politicians.

When McCain states, on the Senate floor, that Senator Rand Paul is "working for Vladimir Putin" , it's time we recognize when an elected official has intellectually Jumped The Shark and can no longer effectively represent their country in an appropriate, coherent and cognizant manner, they need to be removed from office.

Comey, Trump, Russia - International Incident!

Are you sick of it yet:

Comey! Fired by Trump!

Russia!

Comey!

Russia!

Trump!

Election hacked!

Dems demand investigation!

Whinestein "incredulous!"

CA Senator Diane Whinestein - Lib

She's "incredulous." She turns 84 in June. I don't think she knows ass from tea-kettle, no matter what her age.

Cluck Schumer, with his eyeglass planted firmly at the end of his beak, is waving his arms and calling for this investigation and that investigation.

See - this what Dems do. They never let go of anything. I'm sure by now some Dem has uttered, "Nixon - Watergate!"

The Libs will still be talking about Comey come the 2020 election.

Add RINO McCain in the mix: McCain's Senate site:
"I have long called for a special congressional committee to investigate Russia's interference in the 2016 election. The president's decision to remove the FBI Director only confirms the need and the urgency of such a committee."
Has Lindsey Graham called for Trump's resignation yet?

If you ever wondered why I enjoy, by far, writing about the NHL instead of politics, now you know.

What if Assad Didn't Gas Anyone?

I'm rethinking the accusation that Bashar al-Assad gassed anyone last week.

I don't think this happened.

Is Syria another excuse for neocons like John McCain to beat the War Machine?

President Donald Trump can't possibly think that the U.S. can have any type of Military confrontations simultaneously with Syria, North Korea and all the other Mideast countries that are a mess due to Barack Obama's failed foreign policy.

I don't believe - at least I don't want to believe - that we are on the precipice of World War III.

Trump, who I supported, explicitly stated we have no business in Syria and then turned a 180 and ushered in U.S. involvement with Syria.

How will his supporters know, from this point on, whether to believe Trump or not?

Trump does not need to poke the bear of North Korea and bring them into play with what so far, looks like a very amateur performance of Trump Foreign Policy.

It is the Bill Clinton presidency that brought us to where we are with North Korea:
Under the final terms of the Agreed Framework approved in October 1994, Clinton agreed to provide the “Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea” (DPRK) with two light water nuclear reactors and a massive allotment of oil.  The U.S. agreed to ship 500,000 metric tons of oil annually in response to the North’s pretense that the energy-starved backwater had developed the nuclear facility to generate power.  These shipments have cost taxpayers more than $800 million to date — a bargain compared with the $6 billion spent on constructing the nuclear reactors, which now empower North Korea to produce 100 nuclear bombs each year.

All these measures failed to quell the North’s atom-lust.
Clinton gave in to every one of North Korea's demands.

I'll hold Trump's feet to the fire, and apply the same standards to him that I did with Obama, W. Bush and Bubba Clinton. I'm not cutting any slack for Trump just because he's not Hillary Clinton.

The U.S. needs to disengage from Syria and North Korea immediately.

Assad protected Christians in Syria, search and seek for yourselves:

This should not be - this is not - and I hope not -  a question of who is better for starting World War III; Trump or Clinton.

Two Reasons for Term Limits

I've changed my mind on Term Limits for both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.

Oh, this isn't a Republican thing. I'll pick on two Liberals in the next update.

These two, however, are especially egregious in overstaying their welcome.

Can Congress work with the President to do ANYTHING that will help those that they represent?

From Brainy Quote:

"Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything." -  George Bernard Shaw.

I ran across the above quotation and began thinking, how are the current elected politicians - all parties - going to agree to actually ACCOMPLISH things that will benefit those of us that they represent?

"Oh, but I didn't vote for Trump. He's not my president."

Well, I'm not particularly pleased with the repeated, multi-tenured re-election winners the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Cluck Schumer either. "They're not my senators." Either is Al Franken; although he is, technically.

But these attempts at playing defense by the minority party, with the only goal being that of blocking and defeating the majority - tell me, what good does it do for the voters? What good does it do for the 60 million odd something that voted for Donald Trump and the other 60 million odd something that voted for Hillary Clinton?

Because what this new Congress and new President accomplish, or what they don't accomplish, affects both groups of the 60 million.

Can the Left work with the Right? Can the Right work with the Left? Will minds be changed that will lead to progress?

Entrenched politicians need to focus on their constituents, not their next re-election. If they can't, they are not doing their job and they should resign. But we know that will never happen.

The "Entrenched" politician is found in both main parties. Dems as Pelosi and Schumer; Repubs as John McCain and  Mitch McConnell - and all the other career politicians in the House and Senate...these people are like a living Wax Museum of Politicians Who Never Disappear.

I never favored term limits placed on the Senate or the House. Perhaps there should be a cap on the number of years one can serve in Congress or the Senate. We have a term limit on the presidency. Why shouldn't the same standard apply to Senators and Congressmen/women? How do you think the next two years will play out?

Sad McCain and Cluck Schumer are both "troubled..."

Both Sad John McCain and Cluck Schumer say they are "troubled."

This reminds me of the numerous times that both Harry Reid and Joe Lieberman would say the same thing. They were "troubled...." about something or other regarding the George W. Bush Admin.

So, Sad McCain is "troubled" by the Trump Tower bugging and Russia:
“There’s a lot of things about our relations with Russia that trouble me a lot,” Mr. McCain said.
Why does this alleged Republican go out of his way, consistently, against his own party or, rather, why does he feel the need to join the chorus of the Liberal Insane Clown Posse?

Because he is bitter. His bitter bid (no pub intended) for the White House failed. Well, when you run a campaign as poorly as his, as tedious and mundane as his - you lose the race.

Bob Doles' bid for the White House was an exciting, 4th of July fireworks spectacular compared to that of McCain.

And as a side note, I always found it fascinating that in terms of running for the office of president, up until President Donald Trump, the Democrats owned the internet as a political machine.

Bill Clinton and his people knew the potential of the internet in terms of how to use it as a political tool. As a presidential candidate, Howard Dean and his team took use of the internet as a political tool and moved the goal post even higher; understanding the grassroots connection. Dean and his team also understood and capitalized on the fund-raising factors that the internet brought to them. Barack Obama and his his team brought the use of the internet by the Democrats to its Zenith.

The Democrats OWNED the internet and the Republicans - for more than twenty years - are still scratching their behinds without the slightest idea on how to make the internet work for their campaigns and their message.

But then came Donald Trump, and his Twitter account and he simply Pwned what the Democrats developed using the internet as their very proficient political tool. Trump ripped the 'political ownership' out of them, destroying their dominance and control of the internet as their apparatus.

And he's the only one. Not one single Republican or Libertarian, really, have managed to effectively use the internet as part of their political message and election attempts as have the Democrats. It's like the Republican's can't figure out how the internet can help them. Well, they don't have to figure it out. Copy how Bill Clinton used it. Copy Howard Dean. Copy Barack Obama. Copy Donald Trump.

How the Republicans can't manage to figure out how to use the internet is one big enigma to me. But I digress...

Back to CLUCK SCHUMER.

The very Liberal and partisan Cluck Schumer finds that he too, is "troubled.":
[Schumer said]  he is concerned by Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s request for resignations from 46 U.S. attorneys appointed by former President Barack Obama.
[.]
“I’m troubled to learn of requests for resignations from the remaining U.S. attorneys, particularly that of Preet Bharara, after the President initiated a call to me in November and assured me he wanted Mr. Bharara to continue...
Awwwwww, poor Cluckie, that's just a shame. The U.S. Attorneys serve at the behest of the President and requesting their resignation, or terminating them if they refuse to resign, IS THE PREROGATIVE OF ANY PRESIDENT AND HIS U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL.

So Sad John and Cluckie, be "troubled." And Cluckie, be "concerned", also.

These two Senators are shining examples from BOTH parties, and are the answer to the question of:  Why doesn't anything GET DONE in Washington."
