Why is Jacob Frey still the mayor of Minneapolis?

According to The Left, "the ultimate bearer of responsibility rests with the person at the top". This standard is applied to those who have a political ideology that differs from theirs. They never apply this standard to themselves.

In the case of George Floyd, his death happened in Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey's backyard. How does he remain in office? He's a Democrat.

Off the top of my head, a few DEM individuals and Leftist organizations, none who have called for Frey to resign:

Joe Biden, Amy Klobuchar, Ilhan Omar, MN Gov Tim Walz, Hillary Clinton, DNC Chair Tom Perez, Kamela Harris, Cory Booker, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Tina Smith (Minnesota's "unknown other senator"), CAIR Minnesota, St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter, the ACLU, Mike Bloomberg, BOB O'Rourke, John Hickenlooper, Eric Swalwell, Kirsten Gillibrand, Julian Castro, Andrew Yang, Tom Steyer, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Sheila Jackson Lee, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Al Franken, the SLPC, the NAACP, BLM, Barack and Michelle Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Debbie Dingell, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, former MN Gov Mark Dayton,  MN Rep. Betty McGollum, MN Rep Dean Phillips, MN Rep Angie Craig, MN Rep Collin Peterson.   .

No members of the Minneapolis City Council.

No African American Civic leaders in Minneapolis.

No loudmouth celebrities.

No talking heads on MSM/Liberal Media.

No religious leaders.

No liberal-leaning site, blog or - that I could find - social media (Twitter, FB, etc).

I'm thinking if it had been a Republican mayor, all the above voices would be deafening calls for an immediate resignation.

Would a Republican mayor still be in office? One who ran on a platform of reforming excessive police force, who gave a lot of what appeared good performances (acting) and promising improved results, but who instead failed epically?

Frey failed Minneapolis. In two-plus years in office, he's delivered on none of his promises. He'll walk away from the death of George Floyd blemish-free.

Minneapolis DEM Mayor Jacob Frey puts on a good show, feigning concern and compassion over George Floyd death.

WBUR News (via Archive): 4 Police Officers Fired After A Black Man Dies In Minneapolis Police Custody.
[Jacob Frey] the mayor of Minneapolis says four Minneapolis Police Department officers involved in the death of a black man in police custody have been terminated. The FBI is investigating the incident.

A 10-minute video widely circulated on social media and referenced by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey shows a police officer using his knee to pin the man's neck to the ground for multiple minutes.
Here's Soy Boy Frey's well-rehearsed response. I enjoy his measured moments of silence as he feigns concern, grief, muted anger and incredulity.

It's an award-winning performance by Frey. You know he practiced it in front of a mirror for...hours, maybe?

"Being Black in America should not be a death sentence." Is Frey the Mayor of America or of Minneapolis, which, yes - is part of America. You get my point, Frey is passing accountability onto America, not taking ownership of what happens in his own back yard. Nice try, Big Fail.

Frey's statement reads just like a template and it should considering the deaths of Black men and women by overly-aggressive, hair-trigger police officers in Minneapolis which becomes more common every day.

Minneapolis taxpayers must have a lot of extra cash sitting around as the city keeps paying out settlements - or is sued and loses the case - of several hundred-thousands to millions of dollars. What is the price of a human life? Well, ask the Minneapolis City Council. They seem to have a knack in this one aspect of city finances.

Here's the video of Mr. George Floyd being detained.

Advisory: Not for children, graphic, language.

In a real world, by now, Minneapolis Soy Boy Frey would have been forced out of office and Minneapolis Police Chief Medaria Arradondo would have resigned.

Frey and Arradondo promised their administration and policies would be in a new, bold, different direction from their predecessors former mayor Betsy "Hitler" Hodges and former PD Chief Janee Harteau. Well, ya know - - campaign promises and words. Accountability? They've never heard the word.

It unnecessary to mention that Minneapolis is, and has been, a deeply entrenched Blue City for years, but I will lest anyone forget. Will Minneapolis' Black community continue supporting and electing Democrats?

Frey needs to go, but he won't resign - not unless a loud public vocal reckoning forces him to. The four police officers were fired, but that's not Frey taking responsibility. No, that's Frey doing what DEMS do, blame others. (Not that the officers involved aren't to blame, they are).

Considering Frey is part of the political party that so often defaults to the, "the person in charge must go" mentality, it's not surprising he doesn't apply the same standard to himself. The Minneapolis Liberals won't hold him to the standard that they apply to their political opponents. But...ooooohh...but if this had involved a Republican mayor? Gone in less time than the blink of an eye.

Arradondo needs to go. Can voices grow loud enough to oust both Frey and Arradondo? We can hope, but it's unlikely.

BOB O'Rourke cooks cheeseburgers in latest viral stunt.

BreitbartBeto O'Rourke grills cheeseburgers to prove he's 'just like you'.
-
That's BOB using fossil fuel? Are those plastic, disposable plates destined for a landfill? He's cooking and serving meat? Why so many pans when the same number of burgers could've fit into one? How much more water will be used in washing those unneeded pans? Are those lights powered by...electricity? Would you like a little cheeseburger with your Teflon?

We know it's only a matter of time until BOB appears on "Dancing With The Stars Dorks."

Other Stunts by BOB:

Laughs mentioning the El Paso shooting.

His mugshot.

His rally.

He locks his doors and bars his windows. Strange behavior for someone who favors open borders and mass, unchecked immigration.

BOB O'Rourke Changes a Tire! Goes Viral!

Twitchy: Watching Beto O’Rourke change a tire is a great metaphor for his stalled presidential campaign.
Ordinarily we wouldn’t consider video of Beto O’Rourke changing a tire news, but the image is just the perfect analogy for his presidential campaign[.]
This is so much better than his live-streamed hair cut, his laughing over the El Paso shooting, his reboot BOB 2.0, his mugshot, his most recent rally and - considering his open/no-borders policy - his strange fixation with lockable doors and having bars on his windows.

Maybe BOB was born to change tires?

BOB O'Rourke roasted for live-streaming haircut.

Hit the Daily Mail link below, if you dare, for the full video of BOB getting a haircut. It's not the haircut itself, the barber is cool. It's listening to BOB desperately reinventing himself, again. It's fascinating...

The link has a good collection of social media reactions roasting BOB Francis. If he were anything but a DEM, his candidacy would be over have ended long ago.

Daily Mail: Whoever thought live-streaming barber's visit would be a good idea should be fired[.]
Democratic Presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke was ridiculed on social media for live-streaming a 'weird' 20-minute video showing him getting a haircut during a campaign stop in Texas.
[.]
[BOB] took questions from viewers during the stream, before eventually discussing his education reform platform.
[.]
To fill the awkward silences, O'Rourke gave an update on his three children, explaining that his daughter Molly was taking a standardized test.

Trump Dumps Global Climate Ponzi Scheme

President Donald Trump announced Thursday afternoon that he will pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Accord. The Jeff Bezos Daily Chronicle:
President Trump announced Thursday afternoon that he is withdrawing the United States from the landmark Paris climate agreement, a move to honor a campaign pledge that dismayed America’s allies and thwarted the global effort to address the warming planet.

Trump’s decision alarmed leaders around the world, drawing swift and sharp condemnation from foreign officials as well as top U.S. environmentalists and corporate titans, who decried the U.S. exit from the Paris accord as an irresponsible abdication of American leadership.
Screw these "foreign officials [and] top U.S. environmentalists." As I wrote yesterday, let Europe handle this one.

The Laughable Mashable feels that...
Trump flips the middle finger to the world, your future.
Ooooooh...cue ominous music.

It does no such thing. It removes us from an equation that permits a consortium of foreign countries to levy a carbon tax on every sovereign nations and people.

Taxation without representation is what it is, and Trump backing us out from it is in keeping with his campaign promise. Anyone care to mention an Obama campaign promise, such as..."you can keep your doctor," or "I will close Gitmo in one year." Progressives must be furious Gitmo is still open.

It's former Vice President, losing Presidential Candidate and alleged masseuse groper Albert Gore, Jr's (and the Globalists) Ponzi Scheme.

Gore himself said coastal cities will be under water in ten years, yet that didn't stop him from buying a $4Mill-plus condo in an area he earlier claimed would be under water.

Trump removing the U.S. from this stupid "treaty" is great news. I can hear liberals' heads exploding. And that's always a treat!

Nothing is stopping any person from VOLUNTARILY writing checks to whatever earthloving group or org of their choice! But this global hoax will not be levied upon the U.S.

Oh, and right back at ya, Mashable.

Can Congress work with the President to do ANYTHING that will help those that they represent?

From Brainy Quote:

"Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything." -  George Bernard Shaw.

I ran across the above quotation and began thinking, how are the current elected politicians - all parties - going to agree to actually ACCOMPLISH things that will benefit those of us that they represent?

"Oh, but I didn't vote for Trump. He's not my president."

Well, I'm not particularly pleased with the repeated, multi-tenured re-election winners the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Cluck Schumer either. "They're not my senators." Either is Al Franken; although he is, technically.

But these attempts at playing defense by the minority party, with the only goal being that of blocking and defeating the majority - tell me, what good does it do for the voters? What good does it do for the 60 million odd something that voted for Donald Trump and the other 60 million odd something that voted for Hillary Clinton?

Because what this new Congress and new President accomplish, or what they don't accomplish, affects both groups of the 60 million.

Can the Left work with the Right? Can the Right work with the Left? Will minds be changed that will lead to progress?

Entrenched politicians need to focus on their constituents, not their next re-election. If they can't, they are not doing their job and they should resign. But we know that will never happen.

The "Entrenched" politician is found in both main parties. Dems as Pelosi and Schumer; Repubs as John McCain and  Mitch McConnell - and all the other career politicians in the House and Senate...these people are like a living Wax Museum of Politicians Who Never Disappear.

I never favored term limits placed on the Senate or the House. Perhaps there should be a cap on the number of years one can serve in Congress or the Senate. We have a term limit on the presidency. Why shouldn't the same standard apply to Senators and Congressmen/women? How do you think the next two years will play out?
