While at a CNN candidate forum about gay and transgender issues, moderator Don Lemon asked the 47-year-old former congressman whether he supported revoking the tax-exempt status for religious institutions such as churches, colleges, and charities, if they don't support gay marriage.

“Yes,” O’Rourke responded, to much applause.

"I am starting to run out of ways to show how important this deadline is," the former Texas congressman wrote in an email to supporters on Saturday with the subject line "Miss Whiskers." "Maybe I could do a Facebook live stream with a kitten in hand and say, 'You know, we wouldn’t want anything to happen to this kitten now would we… Send your $5 now and Miss Whiskers will be fine.'

"To be clear, we’re not planning on harming any kittens," O'Rourke clarified. "But we do need your help."

The Albuquerque Journal: California gas tax rises another 6 cents a gallon Monday.

California’s nation-leading gas prices are set to climb even higher Monday, when the state gas tax increases another 5.6 cents a gallon.

It’s the latest increase from a 2017 law designed to raise about $5 billion a year for road and mass transit programs.

A 12 cent-per-gallon boost came that November, and voters last year rejected a Republican-led effort to repeal the law. But Southern California voters did recall one Democratic lawmaker who helped pass the measure.

California motorists were paying an average $3.75 per gallon as of late June, far above the national average of $2.71 calculated by AAA .

The gas tax will increase to 47.3 cents a gallon July 1, according to the state Board of Equalization, and continue to increase indefinitely starting next year to keep up with the California Consumer Price Index.

Fret not, for I am sure, the additional tax revenue will be judiciously spent and the returns and impact from this investment will immediately benefit all of the taxpayers and welcomed immigrants in Cali.

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke on Monday proposed taxing affluent American families who do not have members in the U.S. military as a way to fund healthcare for veterans.

The former congressman from Texas unveiled a plan for military veterans that includes a “war tax,” in which taxpayers who earn over $200,000 a year would pay $1,000 in a new tax for each war embarked on by the United States.

O’Rourke, who did not serve in the military but sat on the House of Representatives Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs committees, said the tax would be levied on households without current members of the U.S. military or military veterans. He did not specify what types of war, or the scale and origins of the wars, on which the tax would be levied.

Of course he didn't explain or provide details on his plan. He's nothing more than a walking, talking glob of platitudes - the same as every other DEM.

Maybe BOB can voluntarily contribute a retroactive "war tax" for his lack of military service, considering his vast wealth of White Privilege lifestyle.

    Explosions rocked three luxury hotels in the nation’s largest city, Colombo, and three packed Catholic churches across the country on Sunday morning. This was followed by two additional explosions at different sites. The tragedy occurred as Christians were gathering for Easter Sunday Masses.

    Seven people have been arrested in connection to the attacks, the government confirmed. State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardene earlier told reporters that all of the perpetrators “have been identified,” and will be caught no matter what “religious extremism they are following.”

    One of the suicide bombers checked into the Cinnamon Grand hotel in Colombo under the name Mohamed Azzam Mohamed, Indian media wrote. He reportedly set off an explosive at the hotel’s busy restaurant while standing in line for the Easter Sunday breakfast buffet.

    Two more suicide bombers, who were behind the attacks on the Shangri La hotel and a church in Batticaloa, have also been reportedly identified as Zahran Hashim and Abu Mohammed, according to a report by an Indian News 18 TV Channel. It appears BOB O'Rourke has some degree of home security protection. Why would he do this? Is he trying to keep people OUT of HIS HOME?

I notice wrought iron bars affixed to the exterior of his home windows and doorway. Why are they there? Who is he trying to keep out?

It also appears he has at least two locks on his door. Is he trying to keep people OUT of his home? Is he trying to prevent access to his home from...???...from strangers? From people he doesn't know? Why would he employ and utilize such racist devices?

Other symbolism, of which I'm not fully familiar, appears to be a crescent moon on the shorts of the child in the middle. The pajama bottoms worn by BOB's daughter seem to be decorated with what could be either occult-like and/or Illuminati-like symbols.

Note the upside-down flowers on her PJs. Symbolic of witchcraft? Now, in no way am I saying, or implying, his daughter is "into" witchcraft.
