Tlaib and Omar press conference stunt on Israel today.

St. Paul, Minn. – Democratic U.S. Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan plan to host a news conference Monday afternoon on travel restrictions to Israel and Palestine, after they were denied entry into Israel last week.
Let me guess...their feelings are hurt. More feigned outrage from ingrates. How unsurprisingly novel.

Omar and Tlaib could have traveled to Israel with a bipartisan delegation with 70 of their colleagues a little over a week ago, but that would have removed the opportunity for their stunts and false claim that their "free speech" is being violated.

Tlaib plays the victim card. Can visit her Grandma, but won't.

Representative Rashida Tlaib said she will not visit Israel to visit her grandmother and other Palestinian relatives on the West Bank after being treated “like a criminal” by Israel, which announced Thursday that Tlaib and Representative Ilhan Omar would not be allowed into the country on a planned political visit.

“Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me,” the Michigan Democrat said of her grandmother. “It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in–fighting against racism, oppression & injustice.”
Tlaib isn't being silenced or being treated like a criminal. She was asked to be respectful as a guest in another country. She couldn't - rather, wouldn't - do that.

Offensive behavior and speech has consequences. Tlaib apparently feels her behavior and the consequences don't apply to her. Well, they do and now she's getting a taste of the repercussions. Ain't That a Shame.

Card may not be accepted in Israel. Restrictions apply.

Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib banned from entering Israel.

The decision has been made, the decision is not to allow them to enter,” Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely told Israel’s Reshet Bet Radio.
[.]
Israel’s law prohibits the entry of people who call and operate to boycott Israel, as is the case with other democracies that prevent the entry of people whose perception harms the country,” [said Interior Minister Aryeh Deri].

Tlaib ups minimum wage; wants $20/hour instead of $15.

"By the way, when we started [the minimum wage debate], it should have been $15. Now I think it should be $20," [said Rashida Tlaib]. "Make sure America Rising hears that. It should be $20 an hour. $18 to $20 an hour at this point."
[.]
"Eggs have gone up. Everything has gone up," Tlaib said. "The cost of food has gone up. The cost of a lot of a lot of things that we need has gone up already."
Yes, Rashida, the cost of eggs are the top concern of everyone in our nation

She should lead by example and accept $15/hour as her top wage. Or...maybe $15/day?

I'll up the ante. Bernie should be paying his staff $30/hour.

Illllllllhan Omar and RasheeeeeeDA Tlaib want to visit Israel.

The Forward: Netanyahu Will Decide If Tlaib And Omar Will Be Allowed To Enter Israel.
Democratic U.S. Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are planning a visit to Israel and the West Bank in the coming weeks, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to decide whether they would be let in to the country, over the support they have voiced for the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement.

Sri Lanka terrorist attacks on Easter. Who's noted this and who hasn't.

From RT: Easter tragedy: What we know so far about the deadly attacks in Sri Lanka.
Seven suspects have been identified and arrested as the death toll from the horrific church and hotel attacks in Sri Lanka climbed to over 200, with no group claiming responsibility. RT sums up what we know so far of the tragedy.

Explosions rocked three luxury hotels in the nation’s largest city, Colombo, and three packed Catholic churches across the country on Sunday morning. This was followed by two additional explosions at different sites. The tragedy occurred as Christians were gathering for Easter Sunday Masses.

Seven people have been arrested in connection to the attacks, the government confirmed. State Minister of Defense Ruwan Wijewardene earlier told reporters that all of the perpetrators “have been identified,” and will be caught no matter what “religious extremism they are following.”
[.]
One of the suicide bombers checked into the Cinnamon Grand hotel in Colombo under the name Mohamed Azzam Mohamed, Indian media wrote. He reportedly set off an explosive at the hotel’s busy restaurant while standing in line for the Easter Sunday breakfast buffet.

Two more suicide bombers, who were behind the attacks on the Shangri La hotel and a church in Batticaloa, have also been reportedly identified as Zahran Hashim and Abu Mohammed, according to a report by an Indian News 18 TV Channel. No other details about the alleged perpetrators have been revealed so far.
At the time of publishing this post, the following people have taken time to mention this horrific attack on their social media accounts:

President Donald Trump

Senator Chuck Schumer

Congressman Jerry Nadler

Senator Bernie Sanders

The following people have not bothered to mention the Sri Lanka terrorist attack at all:

Libs Omar, Cortez, Tlaib Serve Pelosi Platter of Ass.

Daily Wire: Cortez, Omar, Tlaib Normalizing Anti-Semitism.
A trio of far-left Democrats are normalizing blatant anti-Semitism in the Democratic Party as leaders in the party idly stand by and refuse to condemn their actions and statements.

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — all new members of Congress — have all defended anti-Semites or espoused anti-Semitic positions over the last several months.
Vice NewsHouse resolution condemns many things meant to address Omar.
“Why are we doing this?” said Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, a New Jersey Democrat, in a closed-door House Democratic Caucus meeting, according to the Washington Post. “We’ve individually and collectively already responded to the fact that we oppose all isms that do not treat people in this country fairly and justly.”

Omar’s progressive colleague in the House, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also publicly pondered why the resolution targeted Omar, specifically, and not other members’ conduct.

“Why are we unable to singularly condemn anti-Semitism? Why can’t we call it anti-Semitism and show we’ve learned the lessons of history?” [asked Rep. Ted Deutch (D-Fla.)].

Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), who heads the Foreign Affairs Committee where Omar has a seat, questioned why a move to condemn Omar’s hateful remarks had devolved into little more than an obvious statement that hatred in all its forms is bad.

Calling all Trump-hating women...Ilhan Omar, Alyssa Milano, Joy Behar, Rashida Tlaib, Maxine Waters, Rosie O'Moo and others...take your protests to Saudi Arabia.

The Independent: Women detainees being 'sexually assaulted and flogged' in secret Saudi prisons.
Female rights activists in Saudi Arabia have been sexually assaulted, tortured with electric shocks and flogged so hard they cannot stand, Amnesty has reported, as British MPs ratcheted up pressure on Riyadh to grant them access to the detainees.

At least 10 rights defenders have been tortured, including being made to kiss each other while interrogators watched, Amnesty said in a report released on Friday.
[.]
Others held in the secret prisons were tortured with electric shocks, flogged so hard they could not stand, or waterboarded[.]
[.]
None have been officially charged or referred to trial, most have no legal representation.
[.]
The Saudi government has repeatedly denied the claims of mistreatment of the detainees.
Will the women (and others) mentioned in the title of the post be lighting up their social media accounts expressing their same screeching outrage that they express over the  "deplorable" treatment of women in the U.S. by President Donald Trump?

Let us know, ladies. Let us know. Because something tells me these loud-mouthed women will be notably silent on this story. After all, who cares about abused women in Saudi Arabia?
