This is who is going to change things? Sure...

"The issue this fall ... do you want Chuck Schumer to be making these decisions or Mitch McConnell to be making these decisions?" Explain the differences, Mitch, they're so arcane and subtle.

Mitch has two speeds: Slow and Stopped. Does the guy in that clip inspire confidence in you for the 2022 election? Would you allow him to coach a little league team? Do you think he'd inspire them? Would you trust him to adequately supervise Pre-School recess? Good luck if you answered yes to any of those questions.

Mitch McConnell already cheerleading for a November Republican loss.

FOX News (Archived): McConnell makes grim prediction about Republicans in Senate races, references 'candidate quality'.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-KY, thinks that Republicans have a lukewarm chance of flipping the Senate in November, citing "candidate quality" as a factor.

The senator made the honest prediction at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Thursday afternoon.

"I think there's probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate," the minority leader anticipated. "Senate races are just different, they're statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome."

"Right now, we have a 50-50 Senate and a 50-50 country, but I think when all is said and done this fall, we’re likely to have an extremely close Senate. Either our side up slightly or their side up slightly," McConnell explained.

"Candidate quality"? Mitch just wants more UniParty members with a flaccid "R" behind their name. It doesn't have to be this way, but Mitch wants RINOs. Political Longevity before Country. Got it, Mitch...a looooooooooong time ago.

Give a Silver Platter to Republicans and they always find a way to f#ck it up. Every Single Time.

HEY! Mitch! LOOK! LOOK OVER HERE: AP (Yahoo Archived): Pro-Trump wins in blue states threaten GOP hopes in November.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Republicans have found success in Democratic strongholds like Maryland and Massachusetts when they have fielded moderate candidates who could appeal to voters in both parties. With Democrats facing headwinds this year, Republicans had hoped that strategy could pay off yet again.

But Republican voters have nominated loyalists of former President Donald Trump in several Democratic states, including Maryland and Connecticut, making the GOP’s odds of winning those general election races even longer. Massachusetts will face its own test next month as GOP voters decide between a Trump-backed conservative and a more moderate Republican for the party's gubernatorial nominee.

A "moderate Republican" is Democrat Lite...or, a RINO. Mitch doesn't want Republicans who are endorsed by Trump.

Mitch is happy throwing in the towel months before the election. He doesn't care.

The House Fails. Need more Peach Mints!

Breitbart: Senate Votes Down Extra Impeachment Witnesses, Paves Way for Trump Acquittal.
The Senate on Friday voted down a motion to allow for additional witnesses to testify as part of the upper chamber’s impeachment trial, all but ensuring a quick acquittal of President Donald Trump.

The 51 to 49 vote thwarted Democrats’ ongoing effort to hear from current and former Trump administration officials such as acting White House Chief of State Mick Mulvaney and former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
[.]
Only two Republicans — Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Susan Collins (R-ME) — voted in favor of the motion for more witnesses, with the former saying he believes that it was important to hear from Bolton.
Basically, The House didn't do their job as prosecutors. They failed. Their case was tossed out of court. The House had the opportunity to have John Bolton testify before Adam Schiff's Clown Show. The House chose not to pursue Bolton. They tried to pass their failure on this onto The Senate, who, correctly, would have none of this nonsense from the House.

Besides, DEMs have had nothing but contempt for Bolton for decades. Until the past 24-36 hours, when they fell in love with him because of some alleged, second-hand report from The NY Times based on unpublished manuscripts of a future book written by Bolton. I guess there's a shortage on current-events political books sitting, unsold, in warehouses everywhere.

The House failed. The DEMS were driving a bus off a cliff and they were the only ones who weren't aware of it. Or they were fully aware and decided to ignore it based solely on bias and TDS. If that isn't the definition of delusion and derangement, then I don't know what is.

The House failed in forming a coherent and substantive case. Instead, House Managers carried into The Senate nothing more than a bag of garbage. And, as DEMS always do, they pass their messes onto others, feebly hoping that the heavy-lifting and fixing their mistakes will be done by others. The Senate and counsel for the President turned the onus right back onto Schiff and Company. And House Managers had nothing.

Schiff and Company would have had a better argument entering The Senate with the excuse that, "the dog ate their homework."

As expected, RINO's Mittens Romney and Susan Collins voted with the DEMS. Both need to stick a 'D' behind their name and both need to be challenged, and defeated, by more Trumpian Republicans or Conservatives.

I haven't checked social media and don't plan on it, but I hope DEMs everywhere are feeling crushed; unhinged and deranged, thrown into depths of despair. And copious amounts of The Sweet, Unfathomable and Yummy Tears of Sadness.

Copious, Copious amounts...

Unfathomably Delicious!

You were just asking yourself, "What's Susan Collins thinking?" Weren't you?

Senator from Maine, Susan Collins

Continuing to position herself as a centrist on a day that the House is expected to impeach President Donald Trump, Maine Senator Susan Collins announced Monday she will run for a fifth term in 2020.

I promised the people of Maine a decision this fall whether I would seek re-election,” Collins said this morning in an email to supporters. (And we can't have politicians not keeping their promises, can we? - DD)
[.]
Having long cultivated a reputation for independence, Collins is likely to be scrutinized on the basis of whether she votes to remove Trump from office should the House continue on track to impeach him this evening.

Collins says she didn’t vote for Trump in 2016. Neither did a majority of Maine voters: The state split 47%-44% in favor of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

In 1999, Collins voted against convicting President Bill Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice, joining a small group of Republicans who sided with Democrats in defending the president.

In 2017, Collins became one of three GOP senators to oppose a repeal of former President Barack Obama’s signature health care law. The measure failed by a single vote.
Can't the Repub Party find a real, actual, Conservative/Republican-Indie-Libertarian to run against Collins?

Susan Collins is now a "betrayer of women."

Susan Collins, U.S. Senator - Maine (kinda-pretend-sometimes Republican) has said she will vote to nominate Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

Because Senator Collins recognizes there is no substantial, let alone remote circumstantial evidence, that Kavanaugh is guilty of the alleged accusations of Dr. Christine Ford...Collins is now labeled a "betrayer."

Celebrities to Collins, "You are a betrayer of women."

Susan Rice scolds Collins for "Her betrayal of women."

More celebs turn caustic towards Collins. Lifezette:
...director Rob Reiner was just as extreme in his reaction.

He wrote, “Susan Collins turns her back on women who have been traumatized by sexual assault. Elections have consequences. To start turning the ship of state back towards the rule of law, decency, truth, and the preservation of Democracy, Nov. 6 has to be a lot more than a blue wave. VOTE!!!”
Law? Decency? Truth? WTF is wrong with Meat Head, anyway?

Collins is a "betrayer of Maine voters."

Planned Parenthood calls Collins, a "betrayer of people everywhere." Everywhere? Really, now...everywhere?

All this is good news. When I hear Libs whining this loudly and to this extent, I know something is going right.

Let's hope Collins doesn't bow to pressure.

McCain Shoots Own Party...Again. Kills OCARE Repeal

Who didn't see this coming from Pretend Republican John McCain? The L.A. Times:
Sen. John McCain is usually happy to spar with reporters, but he ducked into an elevator ahead of the Senate healthcare vote late Thursday without saying a word about how he would vote.

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, though, already knew the answer.
[.]
The [voting] moment stunned the Senate when McCain stepped up to cast his vote — a single down-turned finger — dooming the healthcare bill. Audible gasps filled the galleries, which were packed with onlookers.
Oh, of course the intellectual Liberal Schumer is a clairvoyant. Can you just picture it; his glasses on the tip of his nose, squinting devilish eyes, head cocked downward with that "we just crucified Christ" sneer, saying, "I knew how he'd vote." Schumer's Svengali hold over McCain for so many years is truly an enigmatic mystery. Or maybe McCain is channeling Ted Kennedy?

And McCain taking refuge in an elevator to avoid the press? This must me a "first".

Also joining McCain in voting against their own party was Maine's Pretend Republican Susan Collins and Alaska's Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, of which her vote - I think - is a bit surprising. I thought so, did you?

Pretend Republican and McCain lapdog Lindsey Graham...do I have to finish the sentence? YES - I do...he voted FOR repeal. But, the devil in the details tells me he voted this way knowing ahead of time of how the final vote would come down.

McCain did what he did because he's a petty and vindictive individual. His vote and cajoling of fellow Pretend Republicans is no surprise. McCain is jealous and envious that Donald Trump is the President and McCain hasn't healed, nor will he, in knowing he will never be president.

Still, being Emperor of The North Pole has to be rewarding, doesn't it?

I intended to end the post after the above image. But then I thought - what has Schumer accomplished in all his many years in the Senate.

Well, besides being strongly Alt-Left and always the first person in D.C. to find an MSM microphone and a camera to convey his drivel, he's voted with his party line at the expense of being a total hypocrite. And being a hypocrite never bothers Liberals.

In January 2017, prior to the Trump Inauguration, Schumer said infrastructure tax cuts aren't worth considering.

He did vote for OCare, which can be considered the largest tax hike ever. Why did he vote this way? Because at that time, the president was a Democrat Socialist and Schumer goose-steps along with his fellow Marxists.

In 2014, Schumer called OCare a mistake. His comrades came down on him hard.

In 2011, Schumer supported tax credits for Higher Education.

May, 2015, saw Schumer supporting corporate tax credits for "clean energy."

July, 2014, Schumer supports tax credits for bio-gas.

August, 2015, Schumer supports tax credits for solar power.

December, 2013, Schumer supports rail tax credits.

March, 2016, Schumer asked Republicans to join the Dems in their support of Obama Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.

March, 2013,  2017 *, Schumer wanted to filibuster Neil Gorsuch, Trump nominee for the Supreme Court.

In 2007, Schumer threatened to block all Supreme Court nominees of then-President George W. Bush.

Enough. Schumer does whatever is politically and personally expedient. Nothing that anyone paying attention doesn't already know.

Groucho, left; Karl, right. No, they were not related.
