East Palestine Residents Give Grim Update after Toxic Train Wreck: ‘We’re Dying Slowly’.

Slay News: East Palestine Residents Give Grim Update after Toxic Train Wreck: ‘We’re Dying Slowly’.

Residents in East Palestine, Ohio have given a grim update on their declining health following the toxic train derailment earlier this month.

Locals in the small town, where a Norfolk Southern train derailed on February 3 causing a subsequent toxic explosion, say they are now suffering disturbing symptoms, the New York Post reports.

“Doctors say I definitely have the chemicals in me but there’s no one in town who can run the toxicological tests to find out which ones they are,” said 40-year-old Wade Lovett.

Lovett now has a high-pitched voice that sounds as if he’s been inhaling helium.

‘My voice sounds like Mickey Mouse,” he said.
[.]
“It’s hard to breathe, especially at night.

“My chest hurts so much at night I feel like I’m drowning.

“I cough up phlegm a lot.

“I lost my job because the doctor won’t release me to go to work.”
[.]
Many of them are facing health issues from the chemical fire as well as the psychic toll of their town becoming, in the words of a scientist visiting the area Thursday, the new “Love Canal” — a reference to the Niagara Falls, NY, neighborhood that became a hotbed issue in 1978 because people were getting sick from living above a contaminated waste dump.

Many residents are also complaining of mystery rashes and sore throats after returning home following the lifting of evacuation orders on February 8.

“Yesterday was the first day in probably three or four days that I could smell anything,” said Shelby Walker, who lives a few yards from the epicenter of the crash and explosion.

“I lost my smell and my sense of taste.

“I had an eye infection in both eyes.

“I was having respiratory issues like I was just out of breath.

“Other members of my family have had eye infections and strep throat.

“The cleanup crew drives past us at night and won’t even look at us.

“It’s like we don’t exist. No one has reached out to us or told us anything.”

According to an independent analysis of EPA data by Texas A&M University released on Friday, nine air pollutants were found around East Palestine at levels that could cause long-term health concerns.
[.]
According to Harvard-trained toxicologist, Stephen Lester, the hot zone at East Palestine is one of the “most concerning” he’s ever seen – and warned that the chemical dioxin that was released during the controlled burn will be embedded in the soil and water.

“Until the government takes this seriously there are going to be real problems,” said Lester.

It’s criminal that the EPA didn’t come forward with information about dioxin and start testing for it.”

Biden and Company don't care about Americans. They're far too busy propping up their latex-wearing Tiny Dancer/ex comedian installed ruler of Ukraine.

If the soil and water in EP is in such great condition, why not haul it to Rehoboth Beach and dump it near Senile Joe's estate?

Trump in East Palestine, OH on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Breitbart: Trump Slams Biden for Visiting Ukraine Before East Palestine: ‘Get Over Here’.

-

FWIW, I don't think Biden will ever show up in East Palestine. It's too late now. Same as Biden not getting anywhere near the Southern Border.

Some news stories say Trans Sec Buttgieg will be in EP tomorrow. I wonder if he'll receive the same warm, appreciative, loving, sincere welcome that Trump received from people who have been forgotten by the Biden Admin, his supporters, his handlers, his voters, the EPA and the EnviroTardsCelebrity Crowd?

Where is the massive, usual loud crowd of Liberals endorsing GoFundMe accounts for the people of EP and others affected by this derailment? Why are these people so suddenly mute? Where are they?

Benny at Twitter has a good timeline of Trump in EP. Oh, there's plenty of replies in that Thread from people still suffering from self-induced, severe, incurable, crippling, unhinged, metastatic TDS-madness. 🤣

NO, it wasn't Trump-era policies to blame for the E. Palestine, OH train derailment.

Even the Liberal-based PolitiFact says so!

And EVERY Liberal BELIEVES PolitiFact, right?

PolitiFact: “Obama imposed stricter rules on trains carrying toxins. Trump killed them.”

Multiple posts on Facebook and Twitter claimed former President Barack Obama set tougher regulations for trains carrying hazardous materials that former President Donald Trump later repealed.

The post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.)[sic]

An Occupy Democrats spokesperson told PolitiFact this post was referring to changes to a rule about braking systems for high-hazard flammable unit trains.

PolitiFact looked into this rule change and found the claim to be largely accurate.

Suck it, Libs.

This happened on the watch of Biden, his degenerate handlers and his Trans Sec apprentice Pete Buttigieg, who, as South Bend mayor couldn't manage to fill street pot holes.

This disaster is entirely owned by Biden. Again - SUCK IT, Libs!

Buttigieg writes a "sharply worded" letter to Norfolk Southern Railway!

ABC News: Buttigieg pens sharply worded letter to Norfolk Southern Railway.

In a sharply worded, three-page letter sent Sunday to Norfolk Southern Railway president and CEO Alan Shaw, Buttigieg accused the Atlanta-based company of repeatedly prioritizing profit over safety[.]

A sharply worded letter? I bet Alan Shaw and NSR execs are shaking in their boots!

FAA Admits ‘Unintentionally Deleted Files’ Caused Jan 11 Mass System Failure, Nationwide Flight Chaos.

Breitbart: Oops: FAA Admits ‘Unintentionally Deleted Files’ Caused Jan 11 Mass System Failure, Nationwide Flight Chaos.

A red faced U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) admitted Thursday its staff “unintentionally deleted files” in a key computer system causing the January 11 commercial airline ground stop, which affected more than 11,000 flights and caused mayhem for travelers.

Reuters reports the FAA said the human error occurred while personnel were working “to correct synchronisation between the live primary database and a backup database”, and it had “so far found no evidence of a cyber attack or malicious intent.”
[.]
Last week, a group of 120 members of Congress demanded answers from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the FAA about the system fiasco.

The lawmakers, led by new House Transportation Committee chairman Sam Graves, a Republican from Missouri, called the computer outage “completely unacceptable.”

So...it wasn't 30-Year old software like the FAA originally said?

Friday, January 13, 2023

30-Year old software blamed for FAA outage. Or...something else.

MSN: The software blamed for FAA outage is three decades old and years from an upgrade.

The software that failed and forced the Federal Aviation Administration to ground thousands of flights on Wednesday is 30 years old and not scheduled to be updated for another six years, according to a senior government official.

This system was installed in 1993 and runs the Notice to Air Missions system, or NOTAM, which sends pilots vital information they need to fly, the official said.
[.]
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told NBC News that he has asked the FAA, "to make sure that there are enough safeguards built into the system that this level of disruption can't happen because of an individual person’s decision or action or mistake."

Is Petey saying someone F'ed Up? But - but - the senior official said it was software

Another un-named "senior government official." Do these people have names? Can we know who they are? They are on government payroll.

The MSN story and coverage of this story at NBC and CNN are copy/paste versions of the same story. Why, it's almost like they're parroting talking points handed down from Leni Riefenstahl's DNC Narrative Central!

Yet, al-Reuters reports the problem was a "procedural error."

The FAA said its preliminary analysis "determined that a data file was damaged by personnel who failed to follow procedures. The system is functioning properly." The FAA did not answer more questions about the specifics of the problem.
[.]
The same file corrupted both the main system and its backup, said people familiar with the review, who asked not to be identified.

Enter, "people familiar with the review, who asked not to be identified."

So, we really don't know and it's unlikely we'll have a, or any, specific reason(s) for this fiasco.

Biden: No evidence FAA outage is a hack. Buttigieg: We're not ruling out a hack.

The Daily Dot: Biden says no evidence of cyberattack in FAA outage that grounded flights.

Breitbart: Buttigieg Doesn’t Rule Out Hack Attack…

FAA computer outage or Russian hack?

NBC: Flights across the U.S. affected after FAA experiences computer outage.

Flights across the United States were affected Wednesday morning after the Federal Aviation Administration said it experienced a computer outage.

All flights in the U.S. were grounded following the incident, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.

The FAA said in a notice on its website that its Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) system had "failed" Wednesday morning. A NOTAM is a notice containing information essential to workers involved in flight operations.

CNN: US grounded planes as a ‘precaution’ after a North Korean missile launch.

Updated 1:37 PM EST, Tue January 11, 2022

Washington (CNN Business) - An unusual ground stop was issued to some pilots for a short period of time following a North American Aerospace Defense Command alert of a launch of a North Korean missile, a US official said Tuesday.
[.]
“No warning was issued by NORAD HQ,” regarding a potential threat to the US, according to Captain Pamela Kunze, the chief NORAD spokesperson.

The Federal Aviation Administration, responsible for the nation’s air traffic control system, said the ground stop was to err on the side of safety.

The failure and incompetence of the Biden Admin conveniently always has Russia to blame.

The last time Jerry Nadler moved this fast was when he heard the words, "Free, All-you-can-eat buffet."

Rep. Jerry Nadler raced to the podium Thursday after Chief Justice John Roberts read the last question  before adjourning for the evening, blowing past House impeachment manager Rep. Adam Schiff who attempted to stop him.
[.]
"Jerry, Jerry, Jerry," Schiff said as he stepped toward his colleague.

This is INCREDIBLE. Schiff tried to stop Nadler! You can hear him call him to stop. And then he showed why," National Republican Senate Committee senior advisor Matt Whitlock tweeted. "Dems ask for a closing statement on the night. Nadler, clearly fed up, jumps to his feet and scurries to the mic, ignoring audible protests of lead manager Schiff. Then Nadler gives a terrible lecturing close."
[.]
MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell even commented on how quickly Nadler raced to the podium.

"Adam Schiff stood. He was ready to go to the podium. He only had to do about three steps to get there. Jerry Nadler had to do about 12. It's the fastest I've seen Jerry Nadler move, in the 25 years that I've known him," O'Donnell remarked.

Friday, December 13, 2019

20 years ago, Nadler whined about impeachment based on partisan politics. Now, it's different.

House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler (D-Golden Corral) warned of the dangers of partisan impeachment efforts during former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment proceedings, cautioning that it would “produce decisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come.”

Nadler adamantly opposed a partisan impeachment effort during Clinton’s scandal, emphatically warning his colleagues that they should not impeach a president without the “overwhelming consensus” of the American people and stressing that “an impeachment supported by one of our major political parties and opposed by the other” will lead to bitterness and divisiveness and cause people to question “the very legitimacy of our political institutions.”

“And we must not do so without an overwhelming consensus of the American people. There must never be a narrowly voted impeachment or an impeachment supported by one of our major political parties and opposed by the other,” Nadler said[.]
[.]
“In 1998, President Clinton physically gave his blood,” Nadler proclaimed. “President Trump, by contrast, has refused to produce a single document and directed every witness not to testify.

As Breitbart News noted, “Clinton provided a sample of his DNA to independent counsel Kenneth Starr as he attempted to back up his claim that he had not, in fact, had ‘sexual relations’ with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.”

However, the blood sample ultimately tied Clinton to the dried semen on Monica Lewinsky’s blue dress “to a reasonable degree of scientific certainty.”

"I'm not going to take any shit," says Jerry Nadler. "The New Jerry Nadler Show" premieres today!

"The Jerry Nadler Show", which proved a disaster due to the incompetence of its lead actor, Jerry Nadler, returns after being retooled. The program went on hiatus and was temporarily replaced with, "The Adam Schiff Show" which, in its pilot episode, drew a somewhat sizeable audience. Its viewership quickly dropped after its premeire.

Billed now as, "The New Jerry Nadler Show", Nadler returns playing himself, a partisan liberal suffering from a mild decline in mental stability. "There will be plenty of action, thrills and surprises. We're even looking at spin-offs," said one of the show's producers.
-
House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler had a blunt message as he privately addressed Democrats the day before his panel assumes a starring role in the impeachment inquiry.

“I’m not going to take any shit,” Nadler said in a closed-door prep session Tuesday morning — a rare cuss word from the lawyerly Manhattan Democrat that prompted some lawmakers to sit up in their chairs, according to multiple people in the room.

Nadler’s warning shot referred to likely GOP antics to try to undermine the first impeachment hearing in the Judiciary Committee on Wednesday. But it wasn’t lost on Democrats that Nadler’s message could also apply to those in his own party who have closely scrutinized his role in the House's impeachment probe

While President Donald Trump may be under investigation, Nadler will be on the hot seat.

The veteran lawmaker has at times struggled to balance the competing interests and expectations of his caucus and leadership on an impeachment push that once sharply divided the party. Those internal tensions have largely faded, with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her caucus unified around evidence that Trump abused his office by pressuring Ukrainian leaders for his own political gain.
[.]
Nadler allies aren’t worried.

He’s as steady as a rock,” said Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.), who sits on the Judiciary and Intelligence panels.
...As a rock...

Washington Governor Jay Inslee, another candidate on the speaker’s list, didn’t make it due to a flight delay.
Whoa...those poor Iowans who attended the annual Corn Feed met and listened to the ten players of the Y Team. Hickenlooper was there. Oooooohs! Ahhhhhhhhs! And Amy, too! Wow-hoo-whoo!

"Buttigieg is a fraud." South Bend activists and former city officials demand Pete resign.

Zazzy Mayor Pete Whatshisname

South Bend activists and administrators have demanded the resignation of Mayor Pete Buttigieg after what they say is an inadequate response to a police shooting of an African American man.

"Pete is a fraud," former president of South Bend's Board of Public Safety Pat Cottrell told the Washington Free Beacon on Monday.

Cottrell said the 37-year-old South Bend mayor has a poor record on racial issues and administrative control.
[.]
"Right now there's no way he can stand on the stage and honestly talk about the issues pressing this country when he can't even successfully address the dire issues of race, lack of diversity, and poverty, not to mention the homeless issue in this city," [said Mario Sims, a pastor and activist].

"If you can't even address those issues in a city of 100,000, my God, how can you address those issues in 50 states?" he added.

Buttigieg also held a town hall where protesters shouted "liar" and "we don't trust you!"

Jerry Nadler Feeling Much Better.

NY DEM Jerry Nadler Tweets he is feeling better after almost passing out earlier today.

The Sun Best describes the almost passing out a "sudden health scare."

Nadler: "Glad to receive fluids."

Nadler almost passes out.

Roll Call: Rep. Nadler appears to ‘almost pass out,’ gets medical help at event.
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler came close to collapse in his home state of New York while attending an event with Mayor Bill de Blasio.

At a Friday press conference in New York City, de Blasio came to Nadler’s aid, offering water and making sure the fellow Democrat was feeling alright.
[.]
The story was first reported by NBC News 4 in New York, which reported he appeared to “almost pass out.”

In a video from NBC News 4, de Blasio asks Nadler if he was OK. Nadler can be heard responding with a faint “no” before putting his hand over his face. He then put his head down on the table where he was sitting.

Zazzy Nadler!

CNBC: Nadler threatens to go to court to force ex-White House counsel Don McGahn to testify.
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., on Tuesday threatened to go to court to get former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify before his committee.

“Let me be clear: This committee will hear Mr. McGahn’s testimony, even if we have to go to court to secure it,” Nadler said.
NY PostJerry Nadler’s cynical, cowardly show.
Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established.

So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras.
