Lyon, France Terror Attack: Suitcase Detonated Had Remote Control System

Sputnik News: Suitcase Detonated Had Remote Control System.
The suitcase that exploded near a bakery in the French city of Lyon on Friday had a remote control system, local media reported on Saturday, citing sources close to investigators.

According to the BFMTV channel, the detonated bag contained flechettes and a remote control system.
[.]
As shown by CCTV cameras, a man, aged 30-35, rode a bicycle to the bakery and set aside a bundle, which subsequently exploded. The law enforcement forces failed to idenify the person responsible for the attack despite having the CCTV footage as the perpetrator was wearing sunglasses and a cap. The police are now searching for the suspect who is still on the loose, according to French anti-terrorism prosecutor.

Police issued an appeal for witnesses on Twitter as they sought the man believed to be in his early 30s, who was picked up by security cameras on a mountain bike immediately before the explosion.

A source close to the investigation said traces of DNA were isolated from the remnants of the bomb. Police found the attacker used triacetone triperoxide or TATP, a powerful homemade explosive.

The case is being handled as a terrorism investigation given the circumstances of the attack, committed in broad daylight, and the use of an explosive device capable of hitting a large number of people with screws and metal balls packed into a bag[.]

CAIR files complaint regarding 2018 incident at Minnehaha Regional Park.

KSTP: CAIR announces plans to file complaint in regard to 2018 Minnehaha Regional Park incident.
The Council on American–Islamic Relations-Minnesota announced Friday that it is filing a complaint with the Department of Human Rights against the Minneapolis Parks and Rec Board in relation to an inaccurate 911 call at Minnehaha Regional Park in July 2018 that resulted in four innocent Somali American youths in handcuffs.

The organization also announced it would be filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Administration Data Practices Office.

"We are moving forward with this case because we believe the Minneapolis Park Board Police is acting in bad faith," Jaylani Hussein, director of CAIR-Minnesota, said during a press conference Friday.
[.]
"We believe that this incident could have been dealt with much different response and due care," Hussein said. "We have reached out and done our part to make sure we work with Minneapolis Park Board in order to understand the full scope of the incident and to come to a solution. But we believe since this incident ... Minneapolis Park Board has refused to provide information about this incident and other incidents that have happened that are very similar."

The MPRB issued a statement in response Friday afternoon:

"The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has responded to CAIR's data requests and has provided them with the public data we can legally provide," it read. "We will review and respond timely to any complaints CAIR files with any federal, state or local agency."

According to police, a 911 caller on July 10, 2018, reported four males holding knives and sticks at the park. The caller said one suspect said he had a gun in his backpack and that the suspects were assaulting the caller's boyfriend.

I have a few questions. What additional information does CAIR feel it is entitled to? Spell it out. What do you believe is being hidden or kept from you?

With the statement: "We believe that this incident could have been dealt with much different response and due care." Okay, fine. Please explain in detail, and with examples, what and how you "believe" the procedure and process should be handled.

CAIR, please explain what you "believe" the process should be when police receive a 911 call like the one described above and when they arrive on-scene, observing unknown and potential threats? Should the cops offer potential suspects candy and donuts and have a cheerful chat with people who may be armed and dangerous? How are the police supposed to know who does and who doesn't present a threat?

This "issue" will go away, I imagine, after the City of Minneapolis ends up paying CAIR a nice chunk of money and the idiot Soy Boy-child Mayor Jacob Frey (Super Lib) orders more "sensitivity training" for those working in the dangerous, and often fatal, field of law enforcement.

John Brennan's cryptic tweet decoded?

An interesting thread at Reddit:

Thread comment header:  "John Brennan's tweet decoded! He ordered the assassination of Trump. John 3:13 = JFK Zapruder film frame 313. The frame the bullet hits JFKs head."
Frame 313 of the Zapruder film does appear to be the correct frame number. Time:
...LIFE withheld the gruesome frame No. 313—a picture that became influential by its absence. That one, where the bullet exploded the side of Kennedy’s head, is still shocking when seen today[.]
What Brennan wrote is exactly James 3:13. Bible Gateway:
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
What grudge does Brennan have with President Donald Trump? Well, there are a lot of details in that answer, and see Intel Today for the full background.

A very worried John Brennan

Recall WikiLeaks publishing some of Brennan's hacked emails
Today, 21 October 2015 and over the coming days WikiLeaks is releasing documents from one of CIA chief John Brennan's non-government email accounts. Brennan used the account occasionally for several intelligence related projects.
RT: Brennan's hacked emails include his thoughts on toture, Iran and Afghanistan. And yeah...his hacked email was an...AOL account. Who dey?
Completely hilarious that CIA Director Brennan still uses an AOL account for personal email. Probably has a Prodigy mailer CD too[.]
Brennan, a Deep-Stater and loyal Clintonite, is busy pointing fingers at others, including James Comey and James Clapper.

Conservative Review: Brennan worried about jail.
On Monday, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino appeared on “Fox & Friends” and blasted Obama administration CIA Director John Brennan, saying he “has disgraced the country.”

Bongino was responding to a tweet from Brennan over the weekend claiming Republican leaders  in Congress would do “a great disservice” to the country if they allow Trump to order an investigation into potential interference in the 2016 election by the Obama administration’s intelligence agencies.
[.]
Bongino slammed Brennan as a disgrace and said he was “worried about staying out of jail” because there were criminal leaks to the media Bongino asserts Brennan was involved in.
Brennan was a main architect in then-president Barrack Hussein Obama's "kill list", and Brennan was instrumental in weaponizing the CIA, especially with drones, for the Obama Admin.

James 3:13 and the Zapruder frame 313? An ambiguous, openly veiled threat from Brennan to Trump? A big plate of nothing? A wildly-stretched conspiracy theory from someone on Reddit?

Maybe yes, maybe no - right? Maybe.

One interesting comment at the Reddit thread is why would someone like Brennan use any biblical verse of "3:13" - but especially James 3:13 - knowing that any good conspiracy theory would hop on that reference, tying it to frame 313 of the Zapruder film?

That's a good observation. As good as a follow-up comment noting that if linking the James 3:13 verse to the Zapruder frame 313 is intentional, what better way for Brennan to operate in plain sight?

Asteroid 1999 KW4 is actually two objects, consisting of a larger space rock measuring 0.8 mile across (1.3km) and a mini moon orbiting it.

It will only travel as close as 3.2 million miles from Earth, which equals about 13 times the distance between the Earth and the moon, CNET reported.

Tech News

Technocracy: UK Pedestrian Fined $115 For Avoiding Facial Recognition Camera.
Police fined a pedestrian £90 for disorderly behaviour after he tried to cover his face when he saw a controversial facial recognition camera on a street in London.

Officers set up the camera on a van in Romford, East London, which then cross-checked photos of faces of passers-by against a database of wanted criminals.

But one man was unimpressed about being filmed and covered his face with his hat and jacket, before being stopped by officers who took his picture anyway.

After being pulled aside, the man told police: ‘If I want to cover me face, I’ll cover me face. Don’t push me over when I’m walking down the street.

ZD Net: Six ways the new Mac Pro could go terribly wrong.
Once upon a time, Apple understood extreme pro users. From about 2006 to about 2012, Apple sold what is fondly referred to as the "cheese grater" Mac Pro, so named because the holes on the side of the unit were reminiscent of a cheese grater.
[.]
Then, in 2013, Apple introduced what's come to be known as the "trash can" Mac Pro, because it looks like a glossy little trash can. When Phil Schiller introduced it, he was so proud of it that he bragged, "Can't innovate, my ass."

Since then, that machine has been pretty much a failure.
[.]
It's entirely possible the new Mac Pro could go horribly wrong:
#1 Proprietary modules and module interfaces

#2 Limited module selection

#3 Lack of user maintainability and some kind of unexpected lock-in

#4 Lack of, or minimal upgradeability

#5 Form over functional heat management

#6 Pricing that limits purchases to high-end enterprises only

Is Oregon Live, The Oregonian, painting a sympathetic portrait of Angel Granados Dias, the armed student apprehended at Parkrose High?

I ran across an interesting thread on Reddit:
"The rollout of Angel’s identity on OregonLive will come via a sympathetic puff-piece they are now preparing, focusing on mental health and personal/family adversity, especially if he is from a migrant family. Unlike other trench coat gunmen in schools, the pivot will be away from issues of firearm access and provenance."

Here's the link to the Oregon Live story. It's interesting to note that there are 28 reader comments that, earlier, were viewable, but now, clicking on "View Comments" results to the message of "Comments are not available for this story." Comments at the Reddit link are not kind towards The Oregonian and its coverage on this story.

Angel Granados Dias was arrested on accusations of bringing a loaded shotgun into Parkrose High School on May 17, 2019. He was booked into Multnomah County's jail system just after midnight on Saturday, May 18, 2019. (Multnomah County Sheriff's Office)

New study confirms Google algorithm manipulates search results favoring liberal sources.

Life Site News: Google prioritizes left-wing media sites in search results, new study finds.
A new study by researchers at Northwestern University “presents an algorithm audit of the Google Top Stories box,” examining the results’ variety and ideological leanings, the Daily Mail reports. The researchers looked at the 6,302 articles that appeared in Google’s Top Stories box in November 2017, and found that CNN had the largest percentage of articles at 10%, followed by the New York Times at 6.5% and the Washington Post at 5.6%. From there, Fox News was fourth at just 3%.

The rest of the top twenty sources were all left-leaning organizations or publications, such as Politico, NPR, ABC News, NBC News, and the Huffington Post. No openly conservative news publisher, such as the Daily Caller, made the list.
[.]
The findings are only the latest revelations to undermine Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s repeated insistence that the company’s ubiquitous services are ideologically neutral. In April, documents revealed that Google manually manipulates search results and even maintains a blcaklist of conservative sites including The American Spectator and Conservative Tribune.
