Sputnik News: French Media Reveals Alleged Identity of Lyon Blast Suspect as Algerian.

An explosion broke out on 24 May in downtown Lyon, France near a bakery at the intersection of Victor Hugo Street and Sala Street, near Bellecour Square, one of the city's attractions. More than 10 people were injured.

According to the Parisien newspaper, the key suspect in the Lyon explosion case was identified as Mohamed Hichem M., 24, who came to France from Algeria.

French officials have yet to comment on the information.

The suspect, who was arrested on Monday, had been previously unknown to police prior to the 24 May incident, when a blast broke out in the French city of Lyon, injuring 10 people.

"He is in custody. But so far, he refuses to speak," a source close to the investigation told Parisien.

The police questioned the relatives of the detainee — his parents, as well as his younger brother and sister.

Earlier, law enforcement officers had searched his home, where they found the materials needed for the manufacturing of explosives.

CBS News: Hawaii Health Department confirms 3 more cases of rat lungworm disease.

Three more cases of rat lungworm disease have been confirmed by the Hawaii Department of Health, a disease that could damage a victim's brain or spinal cord in some cases. One case occurred last year after a visitor reportedly ate a slug on a dare, bringing the 2018 total up to 10 confirmed cases.

The other two cases occurred earlier this year, with one person getting sick in late February. Officials believe they may have been infected by consuming produce "straight from the land." Another person fell ill in January, though it's unclear how they contracted rat lungworm disease.

US News: 60 new measles cases spreads over 26 states.

The United States recorded 60 new measles cases last week, taking confirmed cases for the year to 940, the worst outbreak since 1994 and since measles was declared eliminated in 2000, federal health officials said on Monday.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a 6.8% increase in the number of measles cases in the week ended May 24 in an outbreak that has now reached 26 states. The agency has been providing weekly updates every Monday.

Experts warn that the outbreak is not over as the number of cases edges closer to the 1994 total of 958. That was the highest number since 1992, when the CDC recorded 2,126 cases.

The wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals, and one girl has been confirmed dead, according to local station NHK.

Police have confirmed the suspect, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, has died after slashing himself in the neck.

A bus driver who witnessed the incident told officials the perpetrator had been holding a knife in each hand when he walked over to the bus stop and began slashing children.  

One witness told the New York Times the knifeman was shouting 'I will kill you.' 

The young children are believed to be first-grade students aged six to seven who were boarding a school bus when the man unleashed his attack.

French police have arrested four people over a package bomb explosion in the heart of the south-eastern city of Lyon last week that injured 13 people.

A police raid was also under way in a building in the Oullins suburb just south of the city, authorities said. The suspected bomber, a 24-year-old Algerian IT student, was among those arrested.

The man’s parents were also arrested and taken in for questioning, as was a second Algerian student who is a family relation, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, which has jurisdiction over terrorism cases in France.

The suspect was previously unknown to police, Lyon’s mayor, Gérard Collomb, said.

Game One, Monday May 27, 2019

The Puck hits the ICE in about 24 hours from now for Game One of the NHL Stanley Cup.

This year, it's the St. Louis Blues vs the Boston Bruins. Games one and two are on Boston home ice.

In past years, I wrote more often during the playoff series. This year, I kind of lost interest after some of my favorite teams were eliminated early on. The Penguins, NY Islanders, Colorado Avalanche, Nashville Preds, the Washington Caps (last year's Champ) and the Columbus Blue Jackets...I thought they'd make it further than they did.

The interesting development with St. Louis is that for most of the season, they ranked last, or second to last. St. Louis started 2018 Pre-Season games (see September 30 image #4) in the Number Two slot! Soon into regular season, they sank. They couldn't get anything right and wins were scattered. The Blues got a few things going in January 2019, one being a win against the Caps. No one saw that coming. Their play in March started to simmer, their playing improved, they found a cohesive plan and strategy.

Still, the Blues struggled in the Second Round of playoffs against the Stars. They fought their way through and won. And I didn't expect the Blues to win their series against the Sharks.

Boston maintained solid play all season. They're going to be hard to beat, but considering how the Blues spun 180 degrees from looking like they had no chance of going anywhere against any team, they may pose more of a challenge than the Bruins see coming.

The Blues haven't been in a Cup game since 1970 - and coincidentally it was against the Bruins - and they've never won the Stanley Cup. Boston won The Cup in the 2010-2011 season and they have six Cups to their name.

The Blues have momentum and desire. The Bruins have history and a solid, well-played season. This should be a good series.

Lyon, France Terror Attack: Suitcase Detonated Had Remote Control System

The suitcase that exploded near a bakery in the French city of Lyon on Friday had a remote control system, local media reported on Saturday, citing sources close to investigators.

According to the BFMTV channel, the detonated bag contained flechettes and a remote control system.

As shown by CCTV cameras, a man, aged 30-35, rode a bicycle to the bakery and set aside a bundle, which subsequently exploded. The law enforcement forces failed to idenify the person responsible for the attack despite having the CCTV footage as the perpetrator was wearing sunglasses and a cap. The police are now searching for the suspect who is still on the loose, according to French anti-terrorism prosecutor.

CAIR files complaint regarding 2018 incident at Minnehaha Regional Park.

KSTP: CAIR announces plans to file complaint in regard to 2018 Minnehaha Regional Park incident.

The Council on American–Islamic Relations-Minnesota announced Friday that it is filing a complaint with the Department of Human Rights against the Minneapolis Parks and Rec Board in relation to an inaccurate 911 call at Minnehaha Regional Park in July 2018 that resulted in four innocent Somali American youths in handcuffs.

The organization also announced it would be filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Administration Data Practices Office.

"We are moving forward with this case because we believe the Minneapolis Park Board Police is acting in bad faith," Jaylani Hussein, director of CAIR-Minnesota, said during a press conference Friday.

"We believe that this incident could have been dealt with much different response and due care," Hussein said. "We have reached out and done our part to make sure we work with Minneapolis Park Board in order to understand the full scope of the incident and to come to a solution. But we believe since this incident ... Minneapolis Park Board has refused to provide information about this incident and other incidents that have happened that are very similar."

The MPRB issued a statement in response Friday afternoon:

"The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has responded to CAIR's data requests and has provided them with the public data we can legally provide," it read. "We will review and respond timely to any complaints CAIR files with any federal, state or local agency."

According to police, a 911 caller on July 10, 2018, reported four males holding knives and sticks at the park. The caller said one suspect said he had a gun in his backpack and that the suspects were assaulting the caller's boyfriend.

I have a few questions. What additional information does CAIR feel it is entitled to? Spell it out. What do you believe is being hidden or kept from you?

With the statement: "We believe that this incident could have been dealt with much different response and due care." Okay, fine. Please explain in detail, and with examples, what and how you "believe" the procedure and process should be handled.

CAIR, please explain what you "believe" the process should be when police receive a 911 call like the one described above and when they arrive on-scene, observing unknown and potential threats? Should the cops offer potential suspects candy and donuts and have a cheerful chat with people who may be armed and dangerous? How are the police supposed to know who does and who doesn't present a threat?

This "issue" will go away, I imagine, after the City of Minneapolis ends up paying CAIR a nice chunk of money and the idiot Soy Boy-child Mayor Jacob Frey (Super Lib) orders more "sensitivity training" for those working in the dangerous, and often fatal, field of law enforcement.

John Brennan's cryptic tweet decoded?

Thread comment header:  "John Brennan's tweet decoded! He ordered the assassination of Trump. John 3:13 = JFK Zapruder film frame 313. The frame the bullet hits JFKs head."

Frame 313 of the Zapruder film does appear to be the correct frame number. Time:

...LIFE withheld the gruesome frame No. 313—a picture that became influential by its absence. That one, where the bullet exploded the side of Kennedy’s head, is still shocking when seen today[.]

What Brennan wrote is exactly James 3:13. Bible Gateway:

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

Today, 21 October 2015 and over the coming days WikiLeaks is releasing documents from one of CIA chief John Brennan's non-government email accounts. Brennan used the account occasionally for several intelligence related projects.

RT: Brennan's hacked emails include his thoughts on toture, Iran and Afghanistan. And yeah...his hacked email was an...AOL account. Who dey?

Completely hilarious that CIA Director Brennan still uses an AOL account for personal email. Probably has a Prodigy mailer CD too[.]

Brennan, a Deep-Stater and loyal Clintonite, is busy pointing fingers at others, including James Comey and James Clapper.

Conservative Review: Brennan worried about jail.

On Monday, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino appeared on “Fox & Friends” and blasted Obama administration CIA Director John Brennan, saying he “has disgraced the country.”

Bongino was responding to a tweet from Brennan over the weekend claiming Republican leaders  in Congress would do “a great disservice” to the country if they allow Trump to order an investigation into potential interference in the 2016 election by the Obama administration’s intelligence agencies.

Bongino slammed Brennan as a disgrace and said he was “worried about staying out of jail” because there were criminal leaks to the media Bongino asserts Brennan was involved in.

Brennan was a main architect in then-president Barrack Hussein Obama's "kill list", and Brennan was instrumental in weaponizing the CIA, especially with drones, for the Obama Admin.

James 3:13 and the Zapruder frame 313? An ambiguous, openly veiled threat from Brennan to Trump? A big plate of nothing? A wildly-stretched conspiracy theory from someone on Reddit?

Maybe yes, maybe no - right? Maybe.

One interesting comment at the Reddit thread is why would someone like Brennan use any biblical verse of "3:13" - but especially James 3:13 - knowing that any good conspiracy theory would hop on that reference, tying it to frame 313 of the Zapruder film?

That's a good observation. As good as a follow-up comment noting that if linking the James 3:13 verse to the Zapruder frame 313 is intentional, what better way for Brennan to operate in plain sight?

Nadler almost passes out.

Roll Call: Rep. Nadler appears to ‘almost pass out,’ gets medical help at event.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler came close to collapse in his home state of New York while attending an event with Mayor Bill de Blasio.

At a Friday press conference in New York City, de Blasio came to Nadler’s aid, offering water and making sure the fellow Democrat was feeling alright.

The story was first reported by NBC News 4 in New York, which reported he appeared to “almost pass out.”

In a video from NBC News 4, de Blasio asks Nadler if he was OK. Nadler can be heard responding with a faint “no” before putting his hand over his face. He then put his head down on the table where he was sitting.
