Bartender Cortez seeks thicker skin. Can't take any criticism.

NY Post: Cortez lashes out at Amazon and Cuomo.
The Amazon killers are still on the attack.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Queens/Bronx) and her partner in job-slaying crime, state Sen. Michael Gianaris (D-Queens), lashed out at Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the Internet giant Saturday, as the two Amazon opponents held a joint constituent event in Woodside.
[.]
Cuomo, who said Sunday that the Amazon fiasco has wrecked the state’s ability to attract new businesses, “should look in the mirror,” Gianaris charged.
[.]
...several of the constituents who waited for up to two hours to land a five-minute meeting Saturday with the lefty lawmakers were there to sound off about losing out on the 25,000 jobs that Amazon had promised.

I felt like people should have gotten the jobs,” said Susie Scaretta-Enright of Woodside. “There are people that are struggling.”
NY Daily NewsCortez overly-sensitive over her faux accent.
[Cortez]  also spoke of critics who accused her of adopting a faux Bronx accent when she spoke Friday at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network convention.

“It’s so crazy to at once mock someone for being from a working class background, for being a bartender, for shaming me for where I was born and where I’m from and on the other hand, when I lean into my identity and who I am and all of that, people are saying that’s not true either,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

Biden "not sorry" for groping, feeling, touching, hair sniffing, invading personal space of women and children.

Nor did Creepy Joe Biden mention, or offer any explanation or apology, for his penchant for inappropriate behavior with young children. Pedo Joe; hands all over children, sniffing their hair, nuzzling their necks, petting them.

The Hill: Biden: "Not sorry for any inappropriate behavior."
"I’m not sorry for any of my intentions. I’m not sorry for anything that I have ever done. I have never been disrespectful intentionally to a man or a woman. So that’s not the reputation I’ve had since I was in high school, for God’s sake."
Did Biden subconsciously tell us his pre-high school behavior is something requiring investigation? Anyone check his yearbooks?

Reread the first eleven words in his above quote again. Of those eleven words, six of them are, "I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry."

"Not being sorry for anything" he's ever done? NEVER EVER? That should automatically disqualify anyone from elected office. If you're not sorry for at least one thing, whoever you are, you are a blatant liar or sociopath.

Tech Talks: AI can read and text can be weaponized.
“When people see typos right now, they don’t think it’s a security issue. But in the near future, it might be something we will have to contend with,” Stephen Merity, AI researcher and expert on machine learning–based language models, told me in a call last week.

And there’s ample reason to take his warnings seriously. In recent findings, scientists at IBM Research, Amazon and the University of Texas have proven that small modifications to text content can alter the behavior of AI algorithms while remaining unnoticeable to human readers.

Extreme Tech: Three stickers will make an autonomous Tesla veer into oncoming traffic.
Keen Security researchers reverse-engineered the software Tesla uses to see how easy it would be to fool those sensors. They didn’t need to make any changes to the car’s software — this is not a hack. They simply used three small reflective stickers on the roadway to trick Autopilot into thinking the lane had merged when it hadn’t.
I'd imagine covering exterior sensors on the car with duct tape would also put a big dent into Tesla's "autonomy".

UN Floating Cities Will Save Us!

IFL Science: UN Reveals Concept For Floating City That Can Hold 10,000 Amid Climate Change Concerns.
In a special gathering of UN-Habitat, the United Nations program for human settlements, a multidisciplinary team of innovators unveiled a concept for the world’s first sustainable floating city made fit for up to 10,000 residents.

If you’re envisioning The Jetsons meets Water World then you are completely right.
[.]
...the conceptual city is made up of a series of moored floating platforms that are linked to one another to provide both housing for residents and business-oriented structures, such as those meant for farming or local gatherings. Plus, the creators say futuristic pod-like electric vehicles will be provided to “conveniently” transport people from the nearest coast to the city.
[.]
Three dozen 2-hectare (5-acre) floating communities and dozens of productive outposts can expand and contract over time.
The nice thing about this idea is we can always count on proposals from the UN being cost-efficient, well-planned, successful and effortlessly completed.

Because futuristic urban development ideas never fail. Never Ever fail.

Rebecca Parker Mankey fears for her life.
Oh. That's. So. Sad.

Palo Alto onlineLiberal activist-hater Rebecca Parker Mankey fails to incite an angry mob to harm and shame old guy wearing MAGA hat.
Palo Alto resident Rebecca Parker Mankey attempted to shame an elderly white man wearing a red Make America Great Again hat as he sat in [Starbucks].
[.]
Calling him a "hater of brown people," Mankey said she yelled at him and addressed Starbucks customers and employees to join her in her effort. She said she left the store but soon returned and continued to yell at him. Mankey said she was "heartbroken" that other white people didn't stand up against the man sporting a slogan that was popularized by Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. She followed him out of the store to the parking lot, where she continued to berate and swear at him.

She called the man "Nazi scum" and threatened to post pictures of him on social media, which she then did, along with her version of the incident on her Facebook page and on Twitter. She asked the public for help finding him — "I want him to have nowhere to hide," she wrote -- a practice called "doxing," or posting personal contact information to encourage threats and harassment.

The incident has had repercussions not only for Mankey, who said on Tuesday she's received death threats and was fired from her job as an accountant, but also for her former employer, Gryphon Stringed Instruments.
[.]
Mankey said in an email that she and her family are receiving death threats and other threats of harm. She declined to comment further.

Margaret Okuzumi, who co-chairs the Bayshore Progressive Democrats with Mankey, expressed concern for Mankey and her family, saying they were doxed Tuesday on right-wing social media and internet channels.
[.]
Update: On April 3, Mankey resigned as co-chair, officer and a member of the Bayshore Progressive Democrats.

Steven Lee, who serves on the Palo Alto Human Relations Commission, knows Mankey, calling her "beloved by many in our community for her progressive activism, myself included."

Crime must be at an all-time low in Augusta, Georgia.

WRDW: Deputy cites mom for disorderly conduct for 3-year old son's pee emergency.
Potty training can be a stressful time for any parent, but what happened to a Beech Island woman with her 3-year-old son is next level stress.
[.]
[Brooke Johns, who is eight months pregnant] was driving down Sandbar Ferry Road when the little voice in the backseat said he had a big problem.

“He's like, 'Mom, I've got to pee. I've got to pee!' I was like, 'Well, hold on,' and he's like, 'No! I've GOT to pee! I've got to REALLY pee.' And I'm like, 'Baby, there's nowhere for me to go, and he says, 'Momma, I'm about to pee in my pants!" Brooke said.
[.]
Brooke said they barely made it to a gas station parking lot before she realized they wouldn’t be able to make it inside.

“I can’t pick him up,” Brooke said. “You know, I’m not supposed to lift him.”

So, Brooke said she tried to cover Cohen up as best as she could as he relieved himself right there in the parking lot.

“He was peeing before his pants were even all the way down, so obviously he had to go,” Brooke said.

Apparently, this caught the attention of a Richmond County deputy.

"Accidents happen. And he was like, ‘Take him in the bathroom.’ What if I would have ran in the bathroom and someone had been in there? What I was going to let him do? Pee on the floor of the gas station?" Brooke said.

Instead, the deputy decided to cite Brooke with a disorderly conduct charge. Her ticket says, “She allowed her male child to urinate in the parking lot. I observed the male’s genitals and the urination. Public restrooms are offered at the location.”

“I’m going to court April 30,” Brooke said. “Several days before I am due. Yeah, I could extend it, but I would rather deal with it when I’m pregnant. Not when I have a newborn.”

Our Facebook post about the traffic ticket has also lit up social media, with hundreds of parents asking the one question we all have: Why?

"The View" gals absolve Creepy Joe's inappropriate groping and sexual innuendo.

The gals on "The View" broke their spines this morning, desperately overreaching, in all attempts, of absolving Creepy Joe Biden of his inappropriate groping and sexually abusive nature towards women. Note they completely ignore his history of "touchy-feely-groping" of children.

Listen to them stretch, rationalizing Creepy Molester Joe's behavior is acceptable.

How convenient that Ana Novarro mentions Jeffrey Epstein yet none of them mention the cushy, brief prison term of teen-sexter Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner.

Conservative Post: Man calls out Joe Biden for his behavior during Senate Swearing In.

In the midst of his protest security escorted Caplan out of the event as the crowd booed and shouted, “Get out of here.”

ADDED: Dated January 7, 2015, the Washington Free Beacon...Biden's boundary crossing and behavior is worse than I think people realize.

Kind of interesting how he frequently mentions, "Hope you have a big fence around the house," yet he is anti-border. We need a fence/wall and we need to keep Joe inside of it.

Joe Biden says, he "gets it."

Creepy Handsy Joe Biden says he now "gets it," that "social norms are changing." Uh - social norms of inappropriate touching and inappropriate behavior began changing over thirty years ago. What took Creepy Joe so long to "get it"?

Funny...he never mentioned if he plans on stopping swimming and walking around nude.  And skinny dipping. And walking around nude.

Joe didn't apologize or bother to explain his hands-all-over children behavior.

Biden's attempt in explaining his behavior fails the sincerity test. Typical Liberal non-apology apology.

Blame it on the shampoo, Joe?

Another accuser of Biden inappropriate behavior steps forward; Mrs. Butterworth.

"He made me feel very uncomfortable. He had this strange look in his eyes and he reached out and began stroking my face. It happened so fast. It was more than just flirtatious. It was creepy," said a visibly upset Mrs. Butterworth.

A spokesman from Joe Biden's office, responding to Mrs. Butterworth stated that, "Mr. Biden doesn't recall this incident, but if it is suggested he did so, he will listen respectfully. But it was never his intention."

Added Biden: "I may not recall these moments the same way, and I may be surprised at what I hear. But we have arrived at an important time when women feel they can and should relate their experiences, and men should pay attention. And I will."

USA Today reports Walgreens will continue selling "mental cigarettes".

Here's how St. Louis should reply to Cluck.

Jake Patterson - I hope he spends as little time as possible inside a jail cell.

ABC 6: "Bye,Jayme"; Jake Patterson pleads guilty:
Jake Patterson, the man who abducted 13-year-old Jayme Closs and held her captive until she escaped months later, pleaded guilty in an emotional court appearance on Wednesday.

"Bye, Jayme," Patterson said, before he was led away.

Patterson, 21, shot and killed Closs' parents on Oct. 15 and kidnapped the 13-year-old from her home in rural Barron, Wisconsin.

As he pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping, Patterson appeared emotional, with his voice cracking at times.

I hope this sniveling, cowardly piece of shit spends as little time in a jail cell as possible. It's too bad Wisconsin doesn't have the death penalty. But I'm sure there's plenty of inmates with a shiv who'll help Patterson into the afterlife.

Patterson needs someone like Vern Schillinger to go all-out "Oz" on him. No mercy.

Why does anyone believe "outrage" from Chicago DEM Mayor Rahm Emanuel and PD Superintendent Eddie Johnson?

I stopped listening to talk radio over ten years ago. The main reason being that no matter which Conservative talker was talking, it was the same stuff, every day, restated and regurgitated slightly different every day. Day after day after day.

I tuned in to talk radio yesterday and today, wanting to hear reactions to the Mueller Report and the Jussie Smollett story.

Not going to reference any names, but you can guess the two, main Conservative talkers I'm referring to.

Yesterday, both hosts expressed their anger over the Mueller Report, talking at great length over how much time and money was wasted by the Mueller investigation. Well, both of you gentlemen are somewhat intelligent, you knew this was coming. Why are you angry? Both hosts claim to have such keen insight into how the Liberal Mind works, yet, both expressed varying degrees of pissed-off-ed-ness.

Yesterday, one of the hosts was all bent out of shape saying there is no reason to "thank Mueller" for his report's conclusion of no Russian-Trump collusion. Who is thanking Mueller? I haven't read a single site, a single blog or any writer anywhere who is "thanking Mueller".

Today, these same talkers gave ample time in discussing that "even Rahm Emanuel and PD Superintendent Eddie Johnson are upset" over the charges dropped against Jussie Smollett.

You guys are joking, right? Or did you forget that the Smollett hoax happened in Chicago, the Liberal Grift Capital of the World?

Chicago Mayor and lifelong Liberal operative Rahm Emanual "lashes out" at the prosecutors for dropping charges against Jussie Smollett. These two conservative radio takers believe Rahm is really upset over this?

We're asked to believe that Liberal Godfather Emanuel was not aware of what would happen today regarding Smollett? Are you kidding me?

Here's what happened. Emanuel, and to a lesser degree PD Superintendent Johnson, gave performances worthy of Best Supporting Actors in a Hate Attack Hoax.

If you really believe that Rahm is, or was, surprised and angered by the charges against Smollett being dropped, you have played right into the hand of the Liberal Narrative. Chicago PD's Mr. Johnson...of course he had to be in step with The Rahm Narrative for his job and to play his role in protecting the illusion that Chicago law enforcement holds any degree of legitimacy.

You've been Pwned by The Liberal Narrative and fell for it hook, line and sinker.

And the Oscar goes to, Rahm Emanuel, for best acting in feigning outrage over a hoax. And Mr. Johnson, he did his best in a supporting role.

Seriously, you believe this guy?

All charges against Jussie Smollett dropped.

In today's WTF Moment, Chicago Tribune: Cook County drops all charges against Jussie Smollett.
In a stunning move, Cook County prosecutors on Tuesday dropped all charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett on disorderly conduct charges for allegedly staging a phony attack and claiming he was the victim of a hate crime.

“We believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” a prosecutor said in court in announcing the dismissal of all 16 counts.

“Jussie is relieved to have this situation behind him and is very much looking forward to getting back to focusing on his family, friends and career," [said Judge Steven Watkins].

Because Matthew Yglesias and Damon Linker are so prescient and smarter than the rest of us.

On rare occasions I link to a LiberTard site or writer. Usually it's to mock them. It's especially fun linking to them when their past words of wisdom prove to be so...pathetically partisan and so dreadfully wrong.

VOX: Underrated and overrated 2020 Dem presidential candidates (from September 14, 2018 by Matthew Yglesias and others).

BIG SWING and a MISS by Mr. Yglegiggleasissyus. Matt continues, from the above link:
Avenatti, by contrast, has:

Publicly said he’s exploring a run for president.
Formed a PAC to donate to Democratic candidates in 2018, a common first move of presidential contenders.
Visited Iowa in August for the Democratic “Wing Ding dinner” fundraiser, alongside declared presidential candidates Rep. John Delaney (D-MD) and entrepreneur Andrew Yang.
Visited New Hampshire that month for a Democratic picnic, where the state party chair enthusiastically introduced him.
Also visited Florida and Ohio and Pennsylvania, where he met with Democratic officials and tried to schmooze Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), another potential contender who called Avenatti a “phenomenal guy.”
Decided to put his campaign headquarters in St. Louis to make it easier for him to flip Missouri blue.
Released a platform document laying out an agenda he’d run on.

He is really, truly, honest-to-God running for president. And I think he could win.
Matt, Matt, Matt...of which are you more proud: your narrow biased political view or your ability in arrogantly bestowing admirable and altruistic accolades on people who fool no one other than you?

Ooooooooooooh, "and I think he could win." [Insert audio of prepubescent girls'-sleepover squealing, both hands raised and waving around like...well, like litle girls do.]

NY PostAvenatti can't find lawyers to represent him on extortion charges
Oh, teh Schadenfreude, so delicious, so satisfying.

My same question posed to Matt (bias and/or arrogancy) applies to Damon Linker at The Week, writing on September 1, 2016: Donald Trump is poised to lose in the biggest landslide in modern American history:
Trump isn't merely going to lose. He's going to lose in the biggest popular vote landslide in modern presidential history.
[.]
Trump may well end up being the most unpopular candidate from a major party since before the New Deal.
[.]
Trump, by contrast, is going to sink.
[.]
The most credulous members of the Trump fan club will show up to cast ballots for him no matter what he says and does. But the rest? An awful lot of them are likely to stay home out of simple self-respect. Precisely how many do so is what will make the difference between a loss and a historic wipeout.
How'd that landslide/"wipeout" end up, Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamon?

Hey guys, what's it like - how does it taste - eating words of ass?

Amazing...The craniotomy sutures, tension wire and screws can't be seen.

Last week I heard a short audio clip of this on Glenn Beck's program. I wasn't sure what Beck was discussing or what the audio clip represented. Earlier today, I found the video clip at @RealJamesWoods Twitter.

Note the deranged, zombie-like look in eyes of the woman on the left (after you stop staring at her tits...)

I hope these two took their own advice and did not procreate. "That's true...that's so true."

In an unconfirmed news report:  Two unidentified brains in jars mysteriously appeared out of nowhere on a shelf in a science lab. Authorities advise they are not interested in seeking the previous owners and there is no need for the public to be alarmed or concerned. "That's true...that's so true."

Melting Greenland glacier is growning again.

TVNZ: Once melting glacier is now growing.
A major Greenland glacier that was one of the fastest shrinking ice and snow masses on Earth is growing again, a new NASA study finds.

The Jakobshavn glacier around 2012 was retreating about 3 kilometres and thinning nearly 40 metres annually.

But it started growing again at about the same rate in the past two years, according to a study in  Nature Geoscience. Study authors and outside scientists think this is temporary.
Temporary. As in it might freeze and grow for a while, and then some time later melt, and then re-freeze again? As in, climate changes? As in, the temperature and weather tomorrow will not be exactly the same as today or as yesterday? Weather fluctuates? No, it can't be.

The glacier is not unlike the ice cubes in my rums and cokes. The cubes melt...for a while...and then get replenished. Science is amazing. Go figure.
