Trump Commutes Sentence of Meth Dealer.

People (via Yahoo News): Donald Trump Orders Prison Release of GOP Congressman's Son, Who Got 8 Years for Distributing Meth

Donald Trump granted clemency to Rep. Steve Womack's son on Thursday, Jan. 15.

The president commuted James Phillip Womack's eight-year federal prison sentence for distributing methamphetamine.

President Donald Trump has granted clemency to a Republican congressman's son, who was behind bars for distributing methamphetamine.

Trump, 79, officially commuted the federal sentence of James Phillip Womack, the son of Rep. Steve Womack, on Thursday, Jan. 15, according to the Office of the Pardon Attorney. An official Executive Grant of Clemency issued by the U.S. Department of Justice formally announced the commutation of the Arkansas congressman’s son.
[.]
The congressman’s son was sentenced in federal court in May 2024 to a $1,900 fine and eight years in prison for distributing more than five grams of methamphetamine, according to Office of the Pardon Attorney records.
[.]
Federal prosecutors indicted James in April 2023, according to court documents viewed by PEOPLE. Outside of distributing more than five grams of methamphetamine, the indictment also charged him with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. [ ANOTHER FELON WITH A GUN? How did he obtain it? We "need more common sense gun lasw!"  🤣 - DD ]

James has a history of arrests dating back to 2007, KTHV reported, citing court documents.
[.]
He was arrested in 2018 on more than 10 charges, including multiple related to drugs and firearms, and later entered a plea agreement in the case, according to KTHV and KNWA. He was sentenced in state court to nine years behind bars for multiple felony charges and released early in 2020, but was later arrested again, according to KNWA.

KNEWZ: Trump pardons congressman's meth-dealing son.

"I thought Trump was against drug use, you know, since that was his excuse for Venezuela," someone else wrote on the newspaper's post.

Another commenter noted that the senior Womack may no longer be a free man himself, saying, "Well, Womack's an owned man now."

Womack has been a staunch ally of Trump, actively advancing the "America First" legislative agenda through his leadership on the House Appropriations Committee.

What about Venezuela?

Glad you aksed. It doesn't have so much to do with with drugs, smuggling or cartels. Orange Blimp is, again, doing the dirty work for his Masters.

Asif, Part 2:

Venezuela also has oil. Lots of it! It still is the world’s largest proven oil reserve.

I guess OrangeJewlius didn't consult with his owners before he made his campaign promise to the AMERICAN PEOPLE of, "no more and NEW wars."

You don't have to dig too deep to notice who his handlers are.

I'm glad I didn't vote in November 2024. (MrsD voted early). I'd planned on voting on Election Day, but we had some family matters back then that were more important than me voting.

In related news: RTIsrael to spend $729 Million to help fix it's tarnished image. Good luck! Too many have NOTICED

Bad PR for Israel? I can't imagine what spurred this on.

I wonder how much of that $729M is from U.S. taxpayers?

Marijuana Breathalyzer Technology.

Sates legalize, sell and tax pot. Then states get more revenue from arresting you for driving under the influence. See how it works?

A federal agency this spring will convene government officials, forensics experts, academics, industry representatives, law enforcement and standards organizations for what it describes as “an open and candid discussion” about “the path forward to realize meaningful cannabis breathalyzer technology and implementation.”

The two-day event, hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is scheduled to be held in Boulder, Colorado, on April 16 and 17.
[.]
Unlike with alcohol, there’s currently no widely accepted field test to determine whether someone is under the influence of marijuana.

In 2023, a federally funded report by researchers at NIST and the University of Colorado Boulder concluded that evidence does “not support the idea that detecting THC in breath as a single measurement could reliably indicate recent cannabis use.”

“A lot more research is needed to show that a cannabis breathalyzer can produce useful results,” Kavita Jeerage, a NIST materials research engineer and co-author of the report, said at the time. “A breathalyzer test can have a huge impact on a person’s life, so people should have confidence that the results are accurate.”

More recently, a U.S. Department of Justice researcher cast doubt on whether a person’s THC levels are even a reliable indicator of impairment.

States may need to “get away from that idea,” Frances Scott, a physical scientist at the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Office of Investigative and Forensic Sciences under DOJ, said on a podcast early last year.

Scott questioned the efficacy of setting “per se” THC limits for driving that some states have enacted, making it so a person can be charged with driving while impaired based on the concentration of cannabis components in their system. Ultimately, there may not be a way to assess impairment from THC like we do for alcohol, she said.

One complication is that “if you have chronic users versus infrequent users, they have very different concentrations correlated to different effects,” Scott said. “So the same effect level, if you will, will be correlated with a very different concentration of THC in the blood of a chronic user versus an infrequent user.”

That issue was also examined in a federally funded study last year that identified two different methods of more accurately testing for recent THC use that accounts for the fact that metabolites of the cannabinoid can stay present in a person’s system for weeks or months after consumption.

[.]
“The consensus is that there is no linear relationship of blood THC to driving,” [a study preprint posted on The Lancet by an eight-author team representing Canada’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Health Canada and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia identified and assessed a dozen peer-reviewed studies concluded]. “This is surprising given that blood THC is used to detect cannabis-impaired driving.”

Most states where cannabis is legal measure THC intoxication by whether or not someone’s blood THC levels are below a certain cutoff. The study’s findings suggest that relying on blood levels alone may not accurately reflect whether someone’s driving is impaired.

Of the 12 papers included in the present review,” authors wrote, “ten found no correlation between blood THC and any measure of driving, including [standard deviation of lateral position (SDLP)], speed, car following, reaction time, or overall driving performance.
[.]
Evan [sic] as far back as 2015, a U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) concluded that it’s “difficult to establish a relationship between a person’s THC blood or plasma concentration and performance impairing effects,” adding that “it is inadvisable to try and predict effects based on blood THC concentrations alone.”

In a separate report last year, NHTSA said there’s “relatively little research” backing the idea that THC concentration in the blood can be used to determine impairment, again calling into question laws in several states that set “per se” limits for cannabinoid metabolites.

Cocaine at U.S. Capitol Police HQ!

Just The News: US Capitol Police investigates bag of cocaine found at its headquarters.

The United States Capitol Police (USCP) launched an investigation on Wednesday, into a small bag of cocaine that was found inside of its headquarters early Wednesday afternoon.

The police department said the bag was found in a hallway of the police station, in an area that is heavily trafficked by employees and contractors. It comes after the Secret Service found cocaine in the White House last July, which was also found in an area that is highly trafficked and near the area visitors are asked to leave their cellphones as part of the West Wing tour. No suspect was ever identified.

"No suspect was ever identified." Funny that.

"Paging Hunter Biden. Please stop by the courtesy desk of the USCP 'Lost and Found.' We believe we recovered the item you reported."

The HunterBurger! Meth is the secret condiment!

News 19: Man arrested after meth found in hamburger.

The Lauderdale County [Alabama] Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says a man was arrested Saturday after a traffic stop led to deputies making an interesting discovery….methamphetamine inside the man’s hamburger.
[.]
According to the sheriff’s office, the deputies determined that Timothy Nolen, the driver of the vehicle, had a revoked license and the vehicle was impounded per regular policy.
[.]
During the inventory of the vehicle, LCSO said that Nolen said he was hungry and just wanted to eat his hamburger. According to a statement by the sheriff’s office, however, when deputies checked the burger they found more than an all-beef patty on the toasted bun.

“Unfortunately, the burger contained more than lettuce and pickles,” LCSO said on social media. “Deputies retrieved a small bag of Methamphetamine.”

The sheriff’s office said after the find Nolen was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving while revoked, and having a switched tag.

"I'm getting pulled over. The one place to hide my meth the cops won't search is my burger."  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lucira at-home test for "Does I hab TEH COOF or DA FLU" is FDA approved.

Talk about niche target-marketing to hypochondriacs and Teh Coof-obsessesed.

UPI: FDA authorizes first at-home test to detect both flu and COVID-19.

The Lucira test will be sold over-the-counter and it can detect both Influenza A and Influenza B, as well as the SARS-CoV-2 virus - the virus that causes COVID-19, FDA officials announced Friday in a news release.

The announcement marks a breakthrough as the first at-home test for flu, the Washington Post reported. Testing for the flu previously required a visit to a doctor's office or urgent care clinics.

Will a majority of people make a mad-dash, rushing to test themselves the moment they sneeze or have a runny  nose? Probably, based on the number of past, current and "I plan to take all future Coof Boosters" Jab Addicts and Mask-Karens.

Lucira. The FDA approved an at-home test from a company whose stock closed on Friday at .14 cents, whose all-time high of $37/share was two years ago and their  52W high is $5.67? Oh, yeah - full faith and trust, BAYBEE!

It might be a worth a look as a short-term buy-hold-sell when or if it hits "dollars." (This is not presented or intended in any way as financial or investment advice.*)

If I felt energetic, I'd search who the big buyers and investors of Lucira stock are the past 30-90 days. I wonder if Paul "The Hammer" Pelosi, Sr. or other spouses of politicians sank some $$$$$ into this Pharma Company?

With a 52W low of .04 cents, Lucira badly needed a Booster product. I wonder how many palms at the FDA and TPTB were greased? It'd be great if this product failed.

Did you watch Tulsi Gabbard subbing for Tucker tonight?

What a self-righteous bitch. Tulsi dug into newly elected Republican George Santos (R-NY) for, I guess, lies he told prior to his election. Shocker! A politician, of either party, lied? This must be the first time.

Tulsi interrupted him, cut him off verbally and her pious and holier than thou demeanor was vomit inducing.

She's a lifelong Democrat, served eight years as a House Rep and just like that, in 2022 changed her political identification to, "Independent." Funny, we never heard a peep from her about the lies told by her fellow Dems during her House tenure nor did she hold them to the same standard she applied to Santos.

She served a four-year term as a vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.

She endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2016.

She's for legalization of all drugs. Great! We don't have enough OD's happening on a daily basis and there's all sorts of room available at ERs and tons of available money to deal with this problem.

Her first marriage lasted only four years. No surprise here for me.

Many stories appear of her being a member of Klaus Schwab's (Young Global Leaders) Word Economic Forum. She denies this, yet, there's no proof she wasn't.

None of this excuses Santos' embellishment of his past. What it does is it shines a bright light on Tulsi's blatant hypocrisy.

Oh look! Tulsi making one of the NWO hand gestures. No one who does this does it accidentally. She's a two-faced cunt.

I think she's a complete fake. What's her angle?

Uh-Oh! Belgium has too much cocaine.

Daily Mail: Belgium has too much cocaine.

Belgium has too much cocaine: Police run out of incinerators to burn coke after seizing a record 100 tonnes this year.

Massive haul of drugs seized by Belgian police given nickname 'cocaine-berg'.
[.]
Belgium has seized so much cocaine from smugglers operating through the port of Antwerp that it needs more incinerator space to destroy it, officials said Monday.

The massive police stash has been given the nickname the 'cocaine-berg,' with more than 100 tonnes on track to be amassed by the end of the year.

Authorities are concerned that depots used to store the drugs could become targets for robberies by powerful gangs seeking to recover their lucrative cargoes.

Antwerp is awash with drugs imported from South America, which are then transported across Europe. This is the moment customs discovered a stash of cocaine, part of 90 tonnes found last year.

Golly, that's A LOT of Blow!

How will Belgium dispose of it all?

It's smuggled from Columbia. Hit the link for images of the map and some clever ways the cartels are concealing it within other products.

British Virgin Islands’ Premier Andrew Fahie was arrested Thursday on charges of conspiring to import cocaine and money laundering after a successful sting operation led by U.S. authorities.

Fahie, the elected head of government in the British overseas territory, was detained in Miami after agreeing to give agents posing as drug smugglers access to British Virgin Islands’ ports in exchange for $700,000 (€663,000).

Responding to the arrest, U.K. Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said she was “appalled by these serious allegations.”
