The internet is "Baffled" that Trump can "hear Putin smile" during "phone call."

Oh wow, the internet is "Baffled". I did not know inanimate objects and things had the AI to be "baffled". My couch is "baffled" over climate change and I've tried to explain this to the couch, but...it seems a futile endeavor. The couch just sits there, unresponsive. Go figure.

stRaw Story articles now have a paywall, which is good because now I have no reason to ever go there again and read their fictional, LefTard bullshit.

In brief remarks during a visit with the Slovakian prime minister, reporters asked Trump about the call. Had he discussed Russian meddling with Putin?

Trump: He sort of smiled when he said something to the effect that it started off as a mountain and it ended up being a mouse. But he knew that, because you knew there was no collusion whatsoever.
It certainly is "baffling" that someone could "see" someone smile on the telephone. We haven't yet developed the technological innovation where people can have a conversation while viewing the other party with whom they are conversing.

Why...combining voice and visual? It's so "out-there" that it couldn't be imagined by Huxley and Orwell.

It never occurred to any of these advanced, highly intelligent critics that maybe...just maybe...the President of the United States and the Russian President would communicate using some sort of futuristic video-conferencing.  No, that just couldn't be. Face-Time, Skype, mini-cameras in telephones - - - we aren't quite there yet. Technology hasn't evolved to the point where transmission of voice and visual can occur simultaneously

We remain in the Dark Ages of Technology where communication must be one or the other: voice or visual. The two simply cannot be combined. It's a technology impossibility.

Some day, maybe. We're not there yet.
