McCain Shoots Own Party...Again. Kills OCARE Repeal

Who didn't see this coming from Pretend Republican John McCain? The L.A. Times:
Sen. John McCain is usually happy to spar with reporters, but he ducked into an elevator ahead of the Senate healthcare vote late Thursday without saying a word about how he would vote.

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, though, already knew the answer.
[.]
The [voting] moment stunned the Senate when McCain stepped up to cast his vote — a single down-turned finger — dooming the healthcare bill. Audible gasps filled the galleries, which were packed with onlookers.
Oh, of course the intellectual Liberal Schumer is a clairvoyant. Can you just picture it; his glasses on the tip of his nose, squinting devilish eyes, head cocked downward with that "we just crucified Christ" sneer, saying, "I knew how he'd vote." Schumer's Svengali hold over McCain for so many years is truly an enigmatic mystery. Or maybe McCain is channeling Ted Kennedy?

And McCain taking refuge in an elevator to avoid the press? This must me a "first".

Also joining McCain in voting against their own party was Maine's Pretend Republican Susan Collins and Alaska's Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski, of which her vote - I think - is a bit surprising. I thought so, did you?

Pretend Republican and McCain lapdog Lindsey Graham...do I have to finish the sentence? YES - I do...he voted FOR repeal. But, the devil in the details tells me he voted this way knowing ahead of time of how the final vote would come down.

McCain did what he did because he's a petty and vindictive individual. His vote and cajoling of fellow Pretend Republicans is no surprise. McCain is jealous and envious that Donald Trump is the President and McCain hasn't healed, nor will he, in knowing he will never be president.

Still, being Emperor of The North Pole has to be rewarding, doesn't it?

I intended to end the post after the above image. But then I thought - what has Schumer accomplished in all his many years in the Senate.

Well, besides being strongly Alt-Left and always the first person in D.C. to find an MSM microphone and a camera to convey his drivel, he's voted with his party line at the expense of being a total hypocrite. And being a hypocrite never bothers Liberals.

In January 2017, prior to the Trump Inauguration, Schumer said infrastructure tax cuts aren't worth considering.

He did vote for OCare, which can be considered the largest tax hike ever. Why did he vote this way? Because at that time, the president was a Democrat Socialist and Schumer goose-steps along with his fellow Marxists.

In 2014, Schumer called OCare a mistake. His comrades came down on him hard.

In 2011, Schumer supported tax credits for Higher Education.

May, 2015, saw Schumer supporting corporate tax credits for "clean energy."

July, 2014, Schumer supports tax credits for bio-gas.

August, 2015, Schumer supports tax credits for solar power.

December, 2013, Schumer supports rail tax credits.

March, 2016, Schumer asked Republicans to join the Dems in their support of Obama Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.

March, 2013,  2017 *, Schumer wanted to filibuster Neil Gorsuch, Trump nominee for the Supreme Court.

In 2007, Schumer threatened to block all Supreme Court nominees of then-President George W. Bush.

Enough. Schumer does whatever is politically and personally expedient. Nothing that anyone paying attention doesn't already know.

Groucho, left; Karl, right. No, they were not related.

Different Look...maybe

I will be playing around with the design and theme, and colors, fonts, etc from time to time, so there may or may not be some permanent differences - or I may just resort back to the way it was. If you see something that is out of whack, and I don't - let me know. Thanks.

Making Fun of Lard Lad Michael Moore never gets old for me...

It doesn't. Making fun of Michael Moore has always been, and continues to be, tons of fun. No pun intended, seriously, but damn if the few tiny receptors remaining firing in my brain don't come up with something without effort every once-so-often.

He's the only person ever who has successfully beaten the flesh-eating virus .

And then at my old site I ran across this, Moore's trip to Cuba.

Moore enjoys a Cuban-style Banana Split, made with ice cream, bananas, whipped cream,
cherries and a small Cuban child.
Moore is a legitimate target for satire, fat shaming and your all-around general insults aimed at Liberals because he makes himself a target.
"...no group of people, no tribe sh*ts on their own to the extent and the level that we do to each other; it’s the most embarrassing and humiliating thing about this great country," Moore said[.]
In between his feasts of gluttonous gorgery, I wonder if Moore ever considers how lucky he is that he wasn't born in, say, North Korea. Then again, with Moore being such a fan of other tyrants like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez, he probably loves Kim Jong-Un. The obese are attracted to each other due to their girthy gravitational force.

Why is it that Liberals always focus on misery, gloom and doom? It's all they preach. Liberalism is negativity. They are the creators and perpetrators of gloom and doom. On everything. Oh, except raising taxes...then Liberals always see the positive side of that issue.

So, Moore (and what an appropriate name...even an extra "o" that make the word 'more' even fatter), The Fat Bastard Fat Man is in the news again.

This time, Moore says the one thing that could lead to a downfall for President Donald Trump is an unrelenting assault of satire. HuffPooPo:
“[Trumps'] thin skin, as you’ve pointed out so well, is so thin,” Moore said.

“All we need is like a thousand or a million little comedy shivs — just, you know, non-violent, don’t hurt him,” he added. “But just under his skin, because he can’t take being laughed at.”
Well - good luck there Tubby. You keep on dreaming.

Here is why it's a good idea to page through comments from time to time. You never know when you'll run into a gem. And I did, with the comment below, on Yahoo, on their story of the above-linked HuffPooPo.

I've blacked out a part of the user's/commenter's name, but the rest is a total, legitimate, screen shot except for me adding the photo of Moore used in the story:

"Does that face look like it is pinned to a giant lard filled Rubber?"

Yes...yes it does. A lot.

House Stops Pot for VA Docs

It's time to declare an end to marijuana being illegal. It's been time for quite some time. And it is the Federal Government that needs to declare marijuana - medicinal, recreational or other - legal.

The U.S. House nixed VA [D]ocs in recommending medicinal marijuana.  Start and Stripes News:
A House committee has struck down a measure allowing Department of Veterans Affairs doctors to discuss and recommend medical marijuana to veterans in states where the drug is legal, blocking it from debate Wednesday on the House floor.

The “Veterans Equal Access” measure has been debated and voted on the past three years in the House as an amendment to the VA appropriations bill, and it passed the House with a vote of 233-189 in 2016. After Tuesday’s vote of the House Rules Committee, it won’t have that chance this year.
President Donald Trump needs to drop his anti-marijuana platform. Business Insider:
Michael Collins, the deputy director of the Drug Policy Alliance, said in an email that Trump continues to send "mixed messages" on marijuana.

"After stating during the campaign that he was '100%' in support of medical marijuana, he now issues a signing statement casting doubt on whether his Administration will adhere to a congressional rider that stops DOJ from going after medical marijuana programs," Collins said.
AG Jeff Sessions also needs to drop the war against marijuana. New York Daily News (June 13, 2017):
Attorney General Jeff Sessions wants protections for states’ medical marijuana programs to go up in smoke.

The nation’s top prosecutor sent a letter to top congressional leaders opposing the so-called Rohrabacher-Farr amendment, which prohibits Department of Justice funds from being used against medical marijuana users and organizations in compliance with their own states’ laws.
Marijuana is the least of our problems. As a Libertarian, I believe that all drugs should be legalized (that's a whole 'nother post), but a good start is dropping this overblown and expensive war on pot.

Trump, Sessions and other Republicans, and all other politicians (party affiliation irrelevant) - as well as our law enforcement agencies - need to let go of this belief that marijuana usage resembles anything close to how it is portrayed in "Reefer Madness."

How successful, or how much a failure, is the "War on Drugs"? Well, that depends which sources you read and how factual and believable you decide it is.

Viewers Outraged Phelps not in water with actual, real Shark

U.S Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps DIDN'T race a REAL SHARK in the water?  Really?

People are outraged that Phelps did not race a real shark, both being in the same pool or body of water. RealClearLife:
Michael Phelps Sparks Outrage After Racing Fake Shark.

Viewers who tuned in to watch Michael Phelps race a great white shark on Sunday turned off the television feeling cheated, according to the Washington Post.

[.]  Anyone watching had to wait 57 minutes into the program before an ecologist revealed that sharks don’t typically swim in a straight line.

“Clearly, we can’t put Michael in one lane and a white shark on the far lane. We’re gonna have to do a simulation,” said ecologist Tristan Gutteridge
, one of the scientists on the much-hyped Discovery show.
It took an ecologist to inform The Gullible Masses that sharks don't swim in a straight line?

A few Twitter reactions about the fake shark - Phelps race, published in The Jeff Bezos Daily Excrement:
"I honestly feel so robbed that I just watched an hour of a stupid show to see Michael Phelps race a FAKE shark." #fakenews

"Call me crazy but I thought they were gonna put Phelps up against a real shark not a simulation. I feel robbed." #SharkWeek #PhelpsVsShark pic.twitter.com/XgdEphkl6m

"Robbed"?  "Crazy"?  "Incredibly Stupid" and "Gullible" are the descriptions that pop into my mind.

Who are these people who believed this?

Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau Resigns

Late Friday afternoon, Minneapolis PD Chief Janee Harteau resigned. WCCO/CBS:
Amid controversy stemming from her response to another in a string of headline-making police shootings, Janeé Harteau has resigned as Minneapolis Police Chief.

According to a statement from the city, the chief’s resignation comes at the request of Mayor Betsy Hodges, who has clashed publicly with Harteau in the past.

In her resignation letter, Harteau says the recent shooting of Justine Damond, “as well as some other recent incidents, have caused me to engage in deep reflection. … I’ve decided I am willing to step aside to let a fresh set of leadership eyes see what more can be done for the MPD ot [sic] be the very best it can be.”

Mayor Hodges also released a statement on the chief’s resignation:

“As far as we have come, I’ve lost confidence in the Chief’s ability to lead us further — and from the many conversations I’ve had with people around our city, especially this week, it is clear that she has lost the confidence of the people of Minneapolis
as well,” the statement said.
Wow, talk about the ego of Hodges. Does she believe that the people still have confidence in her? Arrogance unhinged.

Unless the people of Minneapolis raise their outrage up another notch, uniting in voice that they have no confidence in their mayor, Hodges will be re-elected this fall. Why...I have no idea, other than I never underestimate the ability of Liberals to elect or re-elect the same idiot over and over again.

Hodges is an Uber-Alt-Liberal.  Who will request - no, demand - her resignation?

Will the people of Minneapolis insist that Hodges resign? She answers to the people; the voters. And so far her answers, rather - her LACK of answers - on all of these shootings are both inadequate and unacceptable.

Hodges needs to be the next one to go.

Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau Brilliantly States The Obvious

The first openly gay Minneapolis Police Chief, Janee Harteau, said that, "Justine [Damond] did not have to die."

Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau

Now we know why Harteau is the PD Chief. It's because what is obvious; she has a far higher IQ than the rest of us (and the other candidates for police chief who didn't get the job), and because of her deep degree of compassion for people. And dogs, and I'll get to that in a moment.

From U.S. News and World Reports:
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — An Australian woman should not have been shot to death by a Minneapolis police officer responding to her 911 call and the officer's actions "go against who we are in the department," the city's police chief said.

In her first public remarks on the killing, Chief Janee Harteau on Thursday defended Officer Mohamed Noor's training but lamented the death of 40-year-old bride-to-be Justine Damond, who was shot in the stomach as she approached a squad car near her home.

"This did not have to happen. Justine did not have to die," Harteau said.

Damond had called 911 twice late Saturday to report a possible sexual assault in the alley behind her house on Minneapolis' southwest side. Noor, who was in the passenger seat of a squad car, shot at Damond through the driver's side window.

"The actions in question go against who we are in the department, how we train and the expectations we have for our officers," Harteau said. "These were the actions and judgment of one individual."
Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hitler Hodges said exactly the same:
"...the fatal shooting of Justine Damond should not have happened."
Mayor Hitler Hodges. That's Harteau behind her on the left.

The shooting and killing of Jamar Clark should not have happened.

The shooting and killing of Philando Castile should not have happened.

The shooting of two services dogs should not have happened. Video below (no audio as footage taken by a security camera):

Boy, those two dogs, with their wagging tails, sure appear to pose a violent threat to the officer, huh? And then this LOSER Cop climbs the fence, acting - and hoping - that he wouldn't get caught. Thank God for that security camera footage.

Harteau calls the above video, "difficult to watch." Another, breathtakingly brilliant observation by the police chief.

Back to Officer Noor, claiming he was startled by Damond, (The Daily Mail), and he reacted by shooting her through the open window of the driver's side of the squad car.

Yes, I can see how a rather petite blonde woman dressed in pajamas would "startle" an officer and appear to pose a violent threat, causing the officer to react by firing a gun at the person before that person can be identified as friend or foe. In a different setting but same scenario, Noor could have killed his own child considering his quick trigger-finger.

Hodges praised the hiring of Noor last year on her Facebook page:

More from The Daily Mail:
...the [police] vehicle did not have its lights on and this may have been so as not to give any suspect notice that police had arrived and buy precious time to apprehend the target. That the car was unlit was disclosed by [fellow officer] Harrity to the BCA.

Both Noor and the BCA's version of events agree on the car's lights being off.According to Noor's version when they reached the end of the alley, they came across a waiting, panicking figure.

It was dark, and the figure was moving around and approached their vehicle.

Noor said he did not know whether the figure who rushed towards their vehicle was the 911 caller or even if it was a man or woman.
The police officer is SUPPOSED TO MAKE A POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION BEFORE USING THEIR WEAPON.

And how does someone who the officer describes as " waiting, panicking" be viewed as a threat who is shot without being identified? How many "waiting, panicking" criminals stand around until the police arrive?

And the BCA  (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) agrees with Noor. What a coincidence. Can anyone actually believe that the BCA is, and can be, objective and independent? Please...

Noor, a law enforcement officer - To Protect and Serve - could not identify who was approaching the car, and he reacts by firing his gun? Had it been one of his colleagues, I guess Noor would have blindly shot a fellow officer.

Noor's reputation isn't exactly absent of controversy and complaints. Heavy.com:
A year ago, the arrival of Noor on the Minnesota police force was celebrated by the mayor and Somali community he hails from. There is a pending federal complaint against him, though, by a former social worker from Minneapolis who says Noor and other officers violated her constitutional rights[.]
[.]
“Body cameras were not turned on until after the shooting incident. The squad camera was not turned on."
[.]
[An] open federal case in the United States District Court, District of Minnesota was filed against Noor, two other police officers, and the City of Minneapolis, by a woman named Teresa M. Graham [the retired social worker].

...court documents say the complaint is an action for money damages arising out of a May 25, 2017 incident. The complaint accuses Noor and the other officers “without any reasonable or legal cause” of forcing “their way into Plaintiff’s house,” where they’re accused of having “violently and forcibly detained her, and transported her to a hospital against her will.”
[.]
According to KARE11, “Noor has two open complaints against him from 2017 and one from 2016,” although the station does not detail what they are about.
Harteau should be fired. Period. No discussion or debating it.

Hodges should resign. If not, she should be removed from office via an election recall.

Every time a tragedy occurs like any of those above, the Minneapolis Mayor and City Council and the Police Department tell us how this never should have happened, that they will work hard - oh, so very hard - to prevent anything like this ever happening again and, the next thing you know, it happens again.

If the citizens of Minneapolis fail in changing what is happening with the above incidents, and others like them, and if they fail to do it now - then it will never happen. Then, get used to stories like the above as daily events.

Harteau and Hodges have to go. Minneapolis...will you do what it takes to make that happen?

Al Gore, Jr.'s Global Climate Crisis Tour Continues

Al Gore, melting.

He's at it again. Al Gore, Jr. says we still have time to save us from the time he said we needed to save ourselves from almost twenty years ago that never happened. NY Post, Page 6:
“Ten years ago we did ‘An Inconvenient Truth.’ Its predictions are coming true. Seas overflowing, storm changes, air changes, temperature rising, surges like superstorm Hurricane Sandy."
Nothing in his film is coming true. Not even close.

Superstorm Sandy was in 2012. FIVE years ago.

Here is the NOAA history of U.S. Hurricanes. The list is not all-inclusive.

The below table is from the Wiki page on U.S. Hurricanes.

Twenty-five in the 1880's. SIX in the "2010s". Is six more than twenty-five, Albert?

In the year 2015, a new record was set; that being NINE years of no major hurricanes hitting U.S. landfall. Weather.com:
This is now the longest streak since hurricane records began in 1851. The previous record was a little over nine years, set from August 11, 1860 to September 8, 1869.
From The Telegraph: Rise of Sea Levels Greatest Lie ever Told:
...the Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner, formerly chairman of the INQUA International Commission on Sea Level Change. And the uncompromising verdict of Dr Mörner, who for 35 years has been using every known scientific method to study sea levels all over the globe, is that all this talk about the sea rising is nothing but a colossal scare story.

Despite fluctuations down as well as up, "the sea is not rising," he says. "It hasn't risen in 50 years." If there is any rise this century it will "not be more than 10cm (four inches), with an uncertainty of plus or minus 10cm". And quite apart from examining the hard evidence, he says, the elementary laws of physics (latent heat needed to melt ice) tell us that the apocalypse conjured up by Al Gore and Co could not possibly come about.
According to The Gospel of Al, all Arctic ice would be melted by 2014.

He's lying. Yet...no Liberal calls him out on this.

"Green Energy"...Below is a list of Green Energy companies that went bankrupt, that were created and received taxpayer dollars under Barack Hussein Obama's "Green Initiative":

Seneca BioEnergy
A 123 Systems
Fisker Automotive
Amonix Solar
Bright Source
LSP Energy

Vestas
LG Chem subsidiary Compact Power
Nordic Windpower

Konarka Tech
Mascoma Corp
Source: The Daily Signal

I liked it better when Al was hiding away, sexually harassing a masseuse. I suppose I should say "allegedly". I wonder what it cost him to settle out of court, because you know that's what had to have happened.

I have nothing against "green energy." But we're not there yet. Fossil fuels still remain the most abundant and affordable. Technology has not reached its zenith in manufacturing affordable green energy. Green energy needs to pay for itself and stop sucking government "incentives" (i.e. our money). And yes, I don't think fossil fuel companies should be getting corporate welfare either.

Gore is a huckster. He's selling Snake Oil. He's a terrible "fortune" teller...other than knowing his ever-expanding fortunes keep rolling in.

Here's a good read: 13 of the Worst Predictions from Earth Day, 1970. The one below is my favorite. Freedomworks.org:
# 11: "By the year 2000, if present trends continue, we will be using up crude oil at such a rate… that there won't be any more crude oil. You'll drive up to the pump and say, ‘Fill 'er up, buddy,' and he'll say, ‘I am very sorry, there isn't any.'" — Ecologist Kenneth Watt
Way to hit it out of the ballpark, Kenneth. Having trouble 'filling 'er up?' Not so much?

No one - not in politics, the media, anyone...NO ONE would buy Al Gore's carnival barking if that person was a Republican, or anyone other than a Liberal.

If this were any other person, the Liberals would say that he has no qualifications or credentials, his past predictions didn't materialize so why should he be believed now and he'd be The Center Stage Circus Clown.

Can you imagine if former VP Dan Quayle  had been the the one to pick up the Global Warming Alarm Torch, telling us our future is doomed, as Gore has been saying, and if we don't do this, that and the other, we're all going to be wiped off the planet by rising oceans, multitudes of hurricanes, weather so hot it would melt any living thing. If it were Quayle, no Liberal would give him a molecule of credibility.

Thankfully, we have a president who balked at the Paris Climate Agreement.

Conveying the Best To John McCain

I want to wish the very best to Senator John McCain in battling his recently diagnosed cancer.

I've taken a lot of jabs at McCain's politics - not McCain, the person. I always strive to apply an equal standard on political viewpoints, ideology and policies/laws. Liberal politics offends me. It should offend everyone. But I would apply the same standards to John McCain that I would to Joe Biden. Or W. Bush. Or Trump. No one gets a free pass here because there is an "R" or an "I" after your name. And McCain seemed always eager to be the first "Republican" to give-in to the Democrats and join them in too many of their causes.

I do rip on ideology. It's never personal. Well...maybe...maybe there's a little of it meant to be taken personally with Joy Behar . And Maureen Dowd.  And maybe someone else I can't think of at the moment. An exception or two always exist. Hey, I advise at the top of the page that Liberals should not read this blog.

I will keep Senator McCain, his family, friends and colleagues in my prayers and ask that you do the same. And may God Bless him and heal him.

Media, especially CNN, Throw Hissy Fit, Scream and Whine and Stomp Their Feet over Trump 2007 WWE Wrestling Parody. Maureen Dowds calls Trump, "A pig."

The holy and pious Fakestream™ Media is aghast at the parody video of President Donald Trump's 2007 WWE footage claiming it incites violence against the Press. Ha! What a riot. How often have I said Liberals have NO sense of humor.

Trump "clocking" to the floor someone with the CNN logo morphed superimposed atop the shoulders.

Video via: I Bleed Red, White and Blue

There are longer versions of the above clip available at You Tube. I used the one above because of its brevity.

CNN has reached a new high in their hyperbole:
Donald Trump's tweet of a doctored video was no joke. It was dangerously irresponsible. In the video -- defended by Trump's supporters as just good fun -- The President of the United States can be seen punching a person with a label digitally superimposed over his face that reads "CNN."
[.]
Trump defenders saying this video was just a joke are missing something: context matters. In 2007, that WWE video was fine; Trump was a private citizen/reality show host putting on an act and everyone involved was in on the joke.
While still president, had this been done by Bill Clinton or Barack Hussein Obama, the media would be extolling the magnitude of humor displayed by Clinton or Obama.

CNN continues:
...the image of him in the doctored video body slamming and repeatedly punching a person in the face who represents a media outlet he has been railing against is so dangerous[.]
"Dangerous." LameStream, very LameStream.

[The Media IS AWARE that wrestling is...scripted and acted, right? The "attack" in the video was planned and rehearsed.]

"Ah-waah! Ah-waah!"  Cue CNN:

From the same CNN link above:
Also, recall that Trump supporters also went ballistic (incorrectly) over the New York City production of Julius Caesar, which featured a Trump-looking Caesar. (Far from celebrating the assassination of Caesar, Shakespeare's play is a warning about the chaos and destruction that results for that misbegotten act.)[sic].
People do get that - - - that the play is about "chaos and destruction that results for that misbegotten act." But this is the same Media that, in 1993, informed us that an episode of Beavis and Butthead is blamed for a fire started by a 5 year old boy that killed his sister.

Well, dear Media - which is it? You can't have it both ways. Remember when politically Conservative-leaning types told us that violent behavior in real life is tied to what the person committing the act sees on television and movies?

On the other side, remember when we had the politically Liberal-leaning crowd campaigning against movie-makers to stop glorifying cigarettes and to stop showing characters in film and television smoking?

And remember Al Gore's former wife, Democrat Tipper Gore lobbying for Parental Warning Labels on records with "explicit lyrics"?

The Reporters Committee said... [about Trump's WWE/CNN video]:
"[journalists shouldn't] be threatened with physical harm for doing their jobs."
Watching the Media twisting and turning in fits of agony, despair and their endless, endless whining about anything that does not fit their narrow, Liberal narrative is just. Too. Funny!

From the same Reporters Committee above:
Bruce Brown, executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press said, "When the president attacks the press, he attacks the people."
No. The president does not attack "the people" when he "attacks" the press. And choosing the word "attacks' is used in an overtly extreme manner. The press feels that "criticism" directed at them is "attacking" them. It isn't. Bruce Brown seeks to garner sympathy for the press by associating Trump with "attacks". Not even close.

Harry Truman compared the press to prostitutes. Prostitute is a nicer way to say "whore", and calling the press Whores is much more accurate.

Bess Truman...? Well, she HATED the press.

Words do mean something. But who decides what the definitive definition is, especially how the manner of those words are conveyed? It comes down to being a very subjective interpretation based on the individual. Like being told that it's not a Caesar-lookalike-of Trump being stabbed to death in the play, that instead, it's the "chaos and destruction" that is being represented...as art...in a play.

And we have Maureen Dowd calling Trump, "a pig." I've always considered Dowd a porcine porklette. When she appears on a television program, if the camera catches a glimpse of her full "body-side"...or a full view from behind her...you will see a big, wide ass on her.

No Maureen, it's not the dress that makes your ass look fat. It's your fat ass that makes your ass look big. Think I'm joking? Anyone see her in person want to leave a comment telling me I'm wrong? Because you'd be lying if you did.

"David, that's just too mean...what you wrote about her and the photo-shop of her as a pig is way past pushing the envelope."

No. It isn't. And even if I thought it was, it wouldn't make me reconsider not publishing it. I totally pushed the envelope and walked up to the very edge of "taste" at my old site. But I didn't cross the line into bad "taste." At least I don't think I did.

Many a liberal comic will say that "tragedy plus time equals humor/comedy." And that is a true statement, one in which I fully believe.

Tragedy plus time didn't equal humor, though, when David Letterman joked about raping 14-year old Willow Palin?
Letterman said "an awkward moment" occurred for Palin when, "during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by (Yankee third baseman) Alex Rodriguez."
Without naming her, the joke seemed to refer to Palin's 18-year-old daughter Bristol, an unwed mother.
But it was 14-year-old daughter Willow, not Bristol, who had been at the game.
Todd Palin issued a statement that said "any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable."
Was it "funny" in May, 2008, when Daily KoS ran the below photo-shop of Michelle Obama?

I'm guessing very few people found it funny, because Daily KoS spiked (deleted) the image and the entire post.

Their rationale? The above image was a statement about Republicans and their "Southern Strategy". Well, a big. big swing and a miss by DKoS on that one.

The Daily KoS link to the image and story results in a "404 error, page not found."
The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.
No...I didn't "mistype" the address nor did the page "move". Such a nice way for DKoS to avoid admitting "we really fucked up on this one."

Who makes the ultimate decision of defining "humor"? Al Franken? Jimmy Kimmel? Me? You? (No, not you, definitely not you).

Being offended because your process of interpreting something intended as a joke or humor, that isn't received on the same level as it was intended, doesn't necessarily mean it's "mean" or "violent".

See - your interpretation really doesn't count or matter. It is the intent of the creator that matters and that defines and separates humor from gravity, humor as satire, humor as parody and, pretty much, anything else communicated by one person to another or several others. And the medium of conveyance is irrelevant.

Is the film "Death of a President" humor? Satire? Parody? A mix of all? Would that film be responsible had it incited someone to act on its message? Would Liberals interpret the film differently had it been about Clinton or Obama?

Any good, new, funny JFK shot in the head jokes going around? Any good jokes about Heath Ledger or Chris Cornell? Too soon?

Satire, parody and even "meanness" are not necessarily violent in scope. It is the result, if any, of that scope that has the potential to turn into violent acts. And that can only be formed within the mind of the person who chooses to act upon it.

What was the final straw that drove James T. Hodgkinson  to make it his mission to kill, or attempt to kill, only Republican politicians?

What motivated John W. Hinckley in his attempt to assassinate President Ronald Reagan? He wanted to impress Jodie Foster.
Dear Jodie:
There is definitely a possibility that I will be killed in my attempt to get Reagan. It is for this very reason that I am writing you this letter now.
As you well know by now I love you very much.
[.]
Jodie, I would abandon the idea of getting Reagan in a second if I could only win your heart and live out the rest of my life with you[.]
[.]
I will admit to you that the reason I'm going ahead with this attempt now is because I cannot wait any longer to impress you. I've got to do something now to make you understand, in no uncertain terms, that I'm doing all of this for your sake!
Think of the the above. In his head, he's telling himself that shooting Reagan will impress Jodie Foster. He has convinced himself of that. It is rational for him to think this. He tells himself Jodie Foster will be impressed by me taking this action. I think it's fair to say that Hinckley was, and remains, mentally unbalanced.

Trump hit the Media with a powerful parody with the WWE footage and the CNN logo superimposed onto the person he knocked down. It's funny. It's parody. It's unfortunate that the "inclusive (political) party" isn't inclusive at all, does not want to hear anything that contradicts what they believe and anything that challenges what they view as their territory and only their territory.

With blogging, Tweeting, Insta-this-or-that, Facebook, etc, the Press and "The Media" no longer are the Titans of controlling News and Information. The Press and the Media have both lost loads of significance and power. The hierarchy of Media, what is was thirty years ago compared to today, has been stripped down to bare bones.

The punch Trump landed on "CNN"...? Well, "if it bends, it's funny. If it breaks, it's not."

And it did indeed bend, and it is hysterically funny. The Empire of Media continues its rapid meltdown.

And it bends. A lot.

Joy Behar and Gun Silencers

Joy Behar, always willing to say things she knows nothing about.

Some may feel that Joy Behar of the internationally renowned think-tank, "The View", is too easy a target to mock because every time she speaks she displays having no knowledge of the subject she is discussing. And the degree of stupidity of her words is the gold standard of the gold standard of gold standards. Know, for a fact, that if Behar is talking, something stupid is being said and with no research on her part to, in advance, learn anything about whatever she's jabbering on about.

She does no research. I guess it's true, you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Here, have a doggie treat, Joy, and go lie down.

Behar has seen too many "Matt Helm" and "James Bond"  movies where a character removes from their inside suit pocket a sleek, cylindrical tube that is a "silencer" and screwing it into the gun barrel, thus being able to assassinate at will without making a sound.

The place: "The View."

The date:  on or about January 25, 2017.

The subject: gun "silencers".

The person: Internationally renowned Firearms Expert:  Joy Behar.

Why write when you can watch it and hear it from The Horse's mouth?

The Left's Anti-Gun Obsession

The preponderance of gun silencers is quite severe, as Behar states. I can speak from experience.

I can barely get one foot out of my front door before being approached by a stranger selling "silencers" - and guns - from their vehicle...usually an unmarked white van. And who can possibly pass up bargains like this?

I phoned "Bill's Gun Shop",  in Minneapolis. They've been around for decades and are a highly respected gun shop

I discussed "silencers" with a very knowledgeable and helpful gentleman who was kind enough to spend a few minutes with me on the telephone..  I wasn't sure if he wanted me to use his name or not, so I'll error on the side of not using it.  And while I have been a customer at Bill's Gun Shop, I have no vested interest in Bill's Gun Shop nor am I receiving any type of compensation in mentioning Bill's Gun Shop.

What you see below is actually a suppressor, not silencer. It suppresses sound.  The science behind suppressors is reducing the sound of a gun shot. It is not possible to completely silence the sound.

The sound of the the gun shot usually breaks the sound barrier; provided the caliber is strong enough to do that.  Your higher caliber handguns - a 9 millimeter, the .45's, the .357's - and most rifles - break the sound barrier.  The suppressor helps reduce this sound.

Suppressors help in the protection of hearing and also help in containing the gases that are created by firing the gun.

Suppressors help enormously in hearing protection. Updated technology and design enables a reduction in recoil . Live Outdoors.com:
These new suppressors, on the other hand, allow the gasses to continue traveling, albeit a lot slower because of the twists and turns they take before they leave the gun. The inside has been likened to a jet engine, which helps to lower bolt velocity to an immeasurable amount. The result is a reduction in the pressure, blow-back and even recoil.
You can search and find many sites that state suppressors do not reduce recoil, but I have to believe the above at Live Outdoors and Accurate Shooter:
If you take an accurate bolt-action rifle in .260 Remington or .308 Winchester and fit a suppressor, the recoil will be noticeably reduced[.]
Desert Eagle, .50 Caliber
Obtaining a Suppressor

The gentleman at "Bill's Gun Shop" said that if you seek to legally obtain a suppressor, you will file paperwork with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and an FBI background check will be done.

The current timeframe in applying and obtaining, or being denied, a Suppressor Purchase Permit is eight to twelve months nationwide.

Suppressors are part of The Hearing Protection Act, and the 2017 Congress will have to address it. Guns.com:
The Duncan-Carter Hearing Protection Act was delivered by GOP sponsors U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan of South Carolina and Rep. John Carter of Texas and aims to deregulate suppressors as a safety measure to help promote their use in protecting hearing.
Behar did get one thing right - it had to be by accident. Donald Trump, Jr. does indeed favor lessening the restrictions on purchasing suppressors. The Sacramento Bee:
Donald Trump Jr., an avid hunter who credits his Czech grandfather with getting him interested in the outdoors, headed up his father’s Second Amendment Coalition advisory group and counts himself a huge fan of [making the purchase of suppressors — more commonly known as silencers — easier and cheaper in the United States.]
It's All about loss of Hearing

Now, before all the anti-gun crazies take a breath, claiming that suppressors have nothing to do with hearing, or that there are other ways to deal with the sound of a gun firing, consider the following, from the same SacBee link above:
[Suppressors] may reduce the noise of a gunshot by an average of 20 to 35 decibels – similar to wearing earmuffs or earplugs – but the sound can still be as loud as a jackhammer, according to multiple studies.

At a [demonstration] at the NRA’s small private gun range in Fairfax, Virginia, [.] observers wore both earplugs and earmuffs as they watched an employee fire rounds from four weapons – an AR-15 rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22 LR and a 9mm handgun – with and without a silencer attached. Even with two layers of hearing protection, the sounds were loud.
Again, from the same SacBee link. the anti-Hearing Protection Act rears its ugly head:
“This legislation is nothing more than a transparent giveaway to the gun industry to help sell more silencers and increase profits,” said Chelsea Parsons, vice president, guns and crime policy, for the left-leaning Center for American .
Of course The Left is against The Hearing Protection Act...because it has to do with guns. If The Hearing Protection Act had to do with limiting the noise output of jackhammers, they'd be supporting it in droves.

From Bearing Arms:
A study of the criminal use of suppressors between 1995 and 2005 found only 15 used in crimes – and only two instances of being used in a murder.
HK 9mm

For thousands of people around the world, Competitive Shooting is a sport. Suppressors would certainly help protect not only their hearing, but the hearing of spectators.

Suppressors do not muffle or cover  100% of the sound of shooting a gun. Nothing does. Well, it would be interesting to search and learn if a deaf person can sense a sound of the firing of a gun.

The irony of all of this is that you can make your own "silencer" at home. It doesn't take a whole lot of ingenuity, material or skill. I'm not going to provide instructions how to make one. But if you really want to make one, you can.

Suppressors are no different than gun-control. If someone (say, with a criminal record) wants to obtain a gun badly enough, they will - and they'll likely obtain it illegally. If someone wants a suppressor badly enough...they will obtain one. Or make their own.

It is not the law-abiding, permit-holding, conceal and carry citizen anyone needs to fear. Neither is it that same citizen with a suppressor that anyone need fear.

Fear only The Liberals.

Only Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin are authorized in using silencers 24/7 worldwide, because they are both way cooler than Helm or Bond.

Depp Apologizes for Trump Assasination Remark, or "When is The Last time A President Killed An Actor?"

Actor Johnny Depp apologies for joking about assassinating Donald Trump:
Bangor Daily News:
Johnny Depp apologized Friday for making flip remarks about assassinating the president. In a statement to People, the actor said, “I apologize for the bad joke I attempted last night in poor taste about President Trump. It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice. I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone.”
What I'm wondering is...

ABC's 20/20 on Otto Warmbier FAILS to mention Bill Richardson worked for the Clinton Administration

Bill Richardson, North Korean Enabler

Did you watch ABC's "20/20"  Friday program on Otto Warmbier,  the U.S. Citizen recently released from a North Korean hard labor prison camp? Did  you recognize in the story the man, Bill Richardson ?

Did you catch that he was referred to as "former Governor of New Mexico"?

Did you notice they never once referred to his stint under the Bubba Clinton Administration?

No, that wouldn't sound good, would it?

It wouldn't sound good for ABC to have a "North Korean" expert like Richardson, pontificate about how he worked so hard on the Warmbier case when, that expert, in 2006 said, Kim Jong-Il cheated on the nuclear weapons framework in the Korean Peninsula.

Isn't is amazing how Liberal spin is such a degenerate's degree of faux incredulity when they can only cover their failures by pretending to be aghast when a thug-dictator "cheats" on an "agreement"?

Richardson's support of then pResidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama , and later the Obama presidency, certainly helped usher in another eight years of yet another weak, ineffectual, spineless and wimpy U.S. president. How could North Korea not take advantage of a weakling like Obama and his Admin? Great North Korean Leader Kimmy had nothing to lose and so much to gain.

2006 is also when Richardson called for, "multi-lateral pressure against North Korea."   Well, how's that working out for the world today, huh Bill? How did that "multi lateral pressure" work out for the Warmbier family?

Yeah...those Liberals and their hardball of "multi-lateral pressure." Nothing scares a tyrant more than words from an effete Liberal, especially "scary consequence" words that are never backed-up with action.

Kim Jong-Il and The Appeaser of North Korea Madeleine Albright (Right)

Prior to being Bubba's Secretary of Energy, 1998-2001, he served as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, under the Bubba Admin, from 1997-1998.

Preceding him as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. was (drumroll....) The Butcher of Kosovo, Serbia and Iraq...  the bloodthirsty child murderer  and international appeaser of North Korea,  the one, the only,  Madeleine Albright, Satan's Little Helper.

Unless I missed it, her name wasn't mentioned in the Warmbier "20/20" story either. Yeah, the Media just cannot bring itself to mention or note Liberal failure or the person(s) responsible for it, as with Albright.

Had it not been for Warmbier's father's on-camera comments, which - to my amazement ABC did show - we probably wouldn't have know that Obama's Secretary of State, John "Can I git me a huntin' license here?"  Kerry did absolutely nothing for the Warmbier family. Nothing.

None of this surprises me, nor should it you.

And now we have Richardson, desperately trying to spin his lack of doing anything about Warmbier or North Korea, or as [a former] U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. [throw his weight around] (and really...how hard can that job be?), into somehow rendering assistance or playing a role in the success of anything; in this case, North Korea's release of Warmbier...sadly, too late.

Yes, Richardson spun and pivoted in the "20/20" story, but he didn't fool anyone who is paying attention. Yes, Richardson has some blood on his hands from Warmbier's death. Yes, Albright is covered in the blood of hundreds of thousands of deaths, especially innocent children.

North Korea was appeased because of direct conflict with USA and China relations at the time. This is the timeframe when President Bill Clinton sold missile technology to China.

Gee - from who do you [think] North Korea obtained their missile technology from? Iceland? The Province of Saskatchewan? Cleveland, Ohio? Or...China?

How else could the Clinton's repay all the several thousand dollar donations made to [Hillary's campaign cash] by Chinese dishwashers and busboys? It's no secret that when politicians want to bring in the big donors, the first group they hit for cash are the dishwashers and busboys. Why, they're loaded.

Richardson certainly seemed to have all the right "after the fact" questions to ask:
"North Korea has a lot of explaining to do [about Otto Warmbier]. Why didn't they notify the United States. Why didn't they notify proper medical authorities [on Warmbier's health problems], the Swedish government that represents us."
Hey, Bill - why didn't YOU do something about it when you had a chance? We know the answer from Liberals: "We tried."

Liberals "try." They don't succeed, but they "try", and they hide behind all their failures by saying "they tried."
