Unless they're the sharks in the Sharknado series. And the Land Shark . They are out to attack and eat us."The more sharks and people there are in one place, the greater the chance of them bumping into each other," [said Gavin Naylor, director of the Florida Program for Shark Research].
This seems like an obvious point, but when you look closer at where attacks are taking place there are some clues as to what might be going on. The large human populations along the southern coast of Australia and the eastern coast of the US mean large numbers of people enjoying the water. But southern Australia has also seen rising numbers of fur seals along its coastline, the favourite prey of great white sharks in the region.
[.]
[Seal seal populations off Cape Cod on the coast of Massachusetts in the US have rebounded in recent years]...[which has]...led to increased numbers of great whites in the area too during the warm summer months as they look to feast on the seals[.]
[.]
...there is no real evidence that sharks are actively hunting humans, according to the scientists who study them.

Do sharks attack humans for a reason?
Sunday, July 14, 2019
Cannibal Sharks off Australia's Gold Coast; or, Michael Moore eats fish stick.
Kind of like watching the DEMS eating each other, but less violent.A pair of frenzied Great White sharks have attacked each other in a furious scrap caught on camera.
The incredibly rare footage shows the apex predators turn on each other and supports recent reports of the sharks preying on their own kind as a food source.
It shows the two mammals grappling in the water and dragging each other down by their jaws.

Viewers Outraged Phelps not in water with actual, real Shark
U.S Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps DIDN'T race a REAL SHARK in the water? Really?
People are outraged that Phelps did not race a real shark, both being in the same pool or body of water. RealClearLife:
Michael Phelps Sparks Outrage After Racing Fake Shark. It took an ecologist to inform The Gullible Masses that sharks don't swim in a straight line?
Viewers who tuned in to watch Michael Phelps race a great white shark on Sunday turned off the television feeling cheated, according to the Washington Post.
[.] Anyone watching had to wait 57 minutes into the program before an ecologist revealed that sharks don’t typically swim in a straight line.
“Clearly, we can’t put Michael in one lane and a white shark on the far lane. We’re gonna have to do a simulation,” said ecologist Tristan Gutteridge, one of the scientists on the much-hyped Discovery show.
A few Twitter reactions about the fake shark - Phelps race, published in The Jeff Bezos Daily Excrement:
"I honestly feel so robbed that I just watched an hour of a stupid show to see Michael Phelps race a FAKE shark." #fakenews"Robbed"? "Crazy"? "Incredibly Stupid" and "Gullible" are the descriptions that pop into my mind.
