Pelosi, Schiff and other dems make surprise visit to Ukraine.

CBS News: Pelosi meets with Zelenskyy in Kyiv, vowing U.S. support for Ukraine.

A U.S. congressional delegation led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised the courage of the Ukrainian people in remarks during a visit to Poland on Sunday, a day after a surprise trip to Kyiv to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Pelosi and a half-dozen U.S. lawmakers met for three hours late Saturday with Zelenskyy and his top aides to get a first-hand assessment of the war effort to date.

"This is a time we stand up for democracy or we allow autocracy to rule the day," said Rep. Gregory Meeks, a Democrat from New York.

"This is a struggle of freedom against tyranny," said Rep. Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California. "And in that struggle, Ukraine is on the front lines."

Democratic Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado, a veteran and a member of the House intelligence and armed services committee, said he came to Ukraine with three areas of focus: "Weapons, weapons and weapons."

"We have to make sure the Ukrainians have what they need to win. What we have seen in the last two months is their ferocity, their intense pride, their ability to fight and their ability to win if they have the support to do so."

They all should stay there and fight then, if they believe this is so integral to U.S. interests. It's not though, dems are beating the war drums, setting up what I believe will eventually be U.S. Soldiers on the ground in Ukraine.

This entire conflict is about one thing: protecting the Ukraine gravy train that feeds the Bidens, the Pelosis (her son Paul), the (John) Kerrys and the Romneys. They're all on the Ukraine payroll.

Dems complained and fought the price of Trump's border wall but there's no limit to the financial and military aid we can provide to Ukraine? What a crock.

Since 1991, officials, members of parliament and businessmen have created complex and highly lucrative schemes to plunder the state budget. The theft has crippled Ukraine. The economy was as large as Poland’s at independence, now it is a third of the size. Ordinary Ukrainians have seen their living standards stagnate, while a handful of oligarchs have become billionaires.

Does the above sound like a blueprint for what the U.S. is now experiencing?
