NHL Tuesday Prediction

I was right with my win of The Pens winning Monday night, but way off in my prediction of a final score.

Actual final score of game 2:  1 - 0
My final score prediction: 4 - 2

It was a scoreless game until with just under seven minutes left to play, The Pens Phil Kessel got the puck past Sens goalie Craig Anderson. And the Sens could not tie it up during the remaining minutes of the third period.

The Pens have Bryan Rust and Justin Schultz with injuries.  Their return described as "day to day".

Game 3 is in Ottawa, Wednesday, May 17.

Tonight, The Ducks play in Nashville, their series also tied 1 game each.

Nashville has a good win record playing on home ice. The Preds have shown consistent team speed which the Ducks have lacked in games one and two.

The Ducks not ever to be underestimated. Their series with Edmonton went a full seven games and the Oilers were brutal to the Ducks, they certainly didn't let the Ducks off easy.

And the Ducks came from behind, beating Edmonton and winning in overtime in Game 4 and Game 7, a double OT game.

This third game in Nashville tonight... it could be one of those 7 - 5 or  7 - 6 games with either team winning, or it could be one of those low scoring games with both playing tough defense and both goalies being totally tuned in.

I think the Ducks are going to psyche themselves into a "we need to win this one game, this one game in Nashville and that's all we need to do right now," mindset.

And Nashville...they're going to be all over the Ducks.

Tonight's Game:  Ducks 3,  Preds  2 in one OT.
