Latoya Gladney, a 44-year-old manager in training at a McDonald’s in North Carolina, told police that her employees were “disrespecting” her last night, so she called her husband “to assist her.”

Cops say Dwayne Waden [Gladney's husband], a 57-year-old church pastor walked into the kitchen and began punching Theodore Garlington, a McDonald’s cook, in the face. Waden also allegedly wrapped his hands around Garlington’s neck and began “pushing his head toward the deep fryer,” according to a police report.

Before Garlington, 34, could be dipped in hot oil, several employees interceded, pulling Waden [...] off the victim.

Garlington suffered “a large contusion to the forehead and right eye, along with scratches on his neck.” While EMS workers responded to the scene, Garlington chose to have relatives transport him to the hospital.

Bond was set at $1000 and a January 22 misdemeanor trial was scheduled for Waden.

But...the pastor looks so pious.

Nice knowing bond is only $1,000 and it's a misdemeanor. What's the bond and charge if racial components are factored in and the victim is black and the perp is white? I'm unable to find stories reporting the race of Theodore Garlington.

The Mirror: According to his Facebook page, Wade works as a truck driver and is pastor of Elevated Life International Ministries, which recently celebrated its second anniversary.

A Virginia man said he is going to eat nothing but Taco Bell for 30 days in an attempt to prove that someone can eat a healthy diet eating nothing but fast food.

Sam Reid told WDBJ-TV that he was motivated by a news article that claimed Taco Bell is one of the healthiest fast food restaurants.

He said he will eat three meals a day at Taco Bell, and will consume each menu item at least once.

"My hypothesis is that healthy fast food can actually help you become healthier,” he told WDBJ.

An Auckland bakery is denying it served what's been called one of the stingiest sandwiches of all time, a picture of which caused the internet to go berserk.

The Papakura Bakery made headlines after a photo of the sandwich was posted in the Papakura and Takanini Grapevine private Facebook group. The photo showed the sandwich, allegedly purchased from the bakery, containing two measly slivers of meat.

Legit? Stunt for hits on FB? If this is an actual samich from a bakery that's been in business a while, as it has, one tends to think this would have surfaced earlier. Color me skeptical.

Apparently, there is some confusion and disagreement with the McDonald's sign "Open 24 Hours" and the employee's understanding of "Open 24 hours."

A video of a customer being abused by a McDonald's employee in the drive-thru of a Hamilton restaurant has prompted an apology from the company.

In the video, the drive-thru worker at McDonald's Five Cross Roads can be heard saying they were closed, before swearing through the intercom.

Someone in the car then makes the point the restaurant is supposed to be open 24 hours.

The employee goes on to call the customer "a little bitch" after asking him "the f**k you want bitch?"
