Embezzler runs away.

To Guess Where? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

T of I: Zelensky associate at crux of Ukrainian corruption case said to have fled to Israel

Legal proceedings expected to take place in absentia against entertainment tycoon Timur Mindich, who is accused of masterminding $100-million embezzlement plot at state companies.

Mindich has reportedly fled to Israel amid a probe of his growing influence within the country’s lucrative industries, and fears that his access was facilitated by his ties to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The two were once business partners, and Mindich’s influence had expanded since Zelensky was elected in 2019.

[...] the mastermind behind a $100 million embezzlement scheme involving top officials and Ukraine’s state nuclear power company.

Mindich, 46, was born in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro. A 2013 Dnipro Jewish Community birthday message to his mother Stella identified her as a member of the community’s board of trustees and an activist in its women’s movement. According to BBC Ukrainian, his father Mykhailo died in Israel in 2006.

The outlet also reported Mindich got married in Israel in 2010, in a four-day event near the Western Wall in Jerusalem with some 500 guests. [

A "FOUR DAY wedding event."  Was it similar to a Diddy Freak Off? 🤣

Israel sure is the destination for those seeking to avoid prosecution and extradition.

IT IS THE SOLDIER
by Charles M. Province, © 1970, 2005:

It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.

It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

Mondoweiss: AIPAC has become so politically toxic that even centrist Democrats are abandoning the group

As support for Israel plummets among U.S. voters, Democrats are distancing themselves from AIPAC, and the Israel lobby group is on the defensive.

Why so defensive? 🤣 They claim their org is just a, "Loosely affiliated group of individuals with no common interest in influencing our government and politicians."
