Ars Technia gets judgy while ignoring their child-perv writer Peter Bright.

Ars Technia screen capture, above.

No doubt - none at all - that Hensmeier is a reprobate. A 14-year sentence isn't long enough.

Ars Technia writer Peter Bright, aka DrPizza, Twitter profile: "Poly/pan/pervy".

But Ars Technia hasn't published a word about their (former? still on the payroll?) writer Peter Bright, aka Dr Pizza, charged with, at the very least, soliciting sex from children.

If you dig into Bright's Twitter account, which is still active, you'll find plenty of disturbing Tweets and information. Gee, you'd think Ars would cover a Tech-news story like that. Then again, Ars has been rapidly shifting Leftward over the past years, which is a shame.

A Conservative-leaning Tech blog? Who could even contemplate such an abomination?

Ars used to be one of the top go-to Tech sites back in the day. Unfortunately, that was more than a decade ago when they actually published articles focusing solely on Tech from a Tech perspective rather than Tech through a lens filter of what's popular, politically correct and unmistakably Leftist ideology. Ars is "Factual", as noted by Media Bias, as far as Tech goes. But Media Bias is only as reliable as we interpret their neutrality, or lack thereof. Right?

From Ars Technia, (April 2010): Do liberals only read liberal blogs?
This idea that the Internet might lead us simply to reinforce our own prejudices rather than challenge them has a long academic pedigree; University of Chicago law prof Cass Sunstein (now in the Obama administration) wrote about the issue in his 2001 book Republic.com.

[As] the paper notes, there is "no evidence that the Internet is becoming more segregated over time."
Teh Internet Segregated? No, in 18 years since the above was written, Teh Web is as diverse and tolerant as ever.

Tech Writer Peter Bright, aka DrPizza, arrested for soliciting sex with children.

Ars Technia stories by Peter Bright, destined soon to be an "oops, that page can't be found".

Warning: This article contains graphic sexual language.

Tech reporter Peter Bright has been arrested for soliciting sex with children online. He was employed by Ars Technica until recently.

A federal complaint alleges that Bright sought to molest a 7- and 9-year-old and met with an undercover agent for this purpose, at which point he was arrested. It also states that Bright claimed to be in a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old. He is currently being held without bail.

According to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, an undercover FBI special agent made contact with Bright on KinkD, a social media fetish platform, on April 18.

Bright, using the handle “randomanon,” had responded to a message the agent posted a day prior in which she purported to be a mother seeking to connect with people who could teach her children about “birds and the bees.”

The complaint states that in subsequent messages, the agent informed Bright that she had a 7-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son.

At Bright’s urging, the two then began chatting via WhatsApp, which continued for a few weeks. At times using euphemisms, Bright reportedly wrote of molesting both children and raping the 7-year-old. He also allegedly sent pictures of his penis, and photos of test results showing he did not have any sexually transmitted diseases.

According to the complaint, both consistently referred to his plans to molest the children as “teaching” them “lessons,” and Bright described how he would begin slowly and move on to more intense sexual activity.
On his Twitter account, he went by the name "DrPizza" and described himself as, "Poly/pan/pervy. He/Him".

And...yeah, you absolutely guessed it! He's a Flaming Lib as reflected in his Twitter account:

No, Dr Pizza, it doesn't mean you can murder republicans and use the "conservative panic" defence." However, I'm guessing gen pop is preparing to give you a proper welcoming.

As of this publishing, his Twitter account is active.
