Breitbart: RINO Romney Calls for Tax Hikes, Raising Retirement Age.
Yes, we are living longer. Life expectancy has increased six years since 1980, but that doesn’t mean that those six additional years add up to prime working years. It’s not like your physical clock rewinds and now a 65-year-old is as spry as a 59-year-old. For many, those additional six years are linger years, six more years of being really old, frail, and sickly. For many, 70 is not the new 60. Rather, 70 is still 70, but instead of dying at 79, you die at 85.
So is it really fair to increase the retirement age? We live 12 years longer today than we did in 1950 when the average retirement age was 66. Should the retirement age reflect that? Should we be required to work until we’re 78 years old?
I don’t think so.
Mittens...just another AIPAC tool.
Romney, since at least 2010: "Iran has nuclear weapons...SQUAAAAAWK...Iran has nuclear weapons...SQUAAAAAWK..Iran has nuclear weapons...SQUAAAAAWK..."

Theses are the same dirty cocksuckers who have never worked an honest day in their miserable fucking lives.
Pissed?
OH FUCK YES it pisses me off!
For the Love Of God, I will be 66 next month if he is willing and I have literally BROKEN my fucking body in the last 45 years wrenching on shit they aren't even qualified to sit in the seat of.
My health fell off a cliff in the 5 years between 60 and 65.
And these fuckers thing I can just keep on grinding it out?
Sure. I can barely get up and moving in the morning anymore and have literally been living on pain pills every fucking day for the last 3 years.
I want to kick these worthless motherfuckers in the nuts so bad I can taste it.
Repeatedly. With the steel fucking toe boots I have to wear every fucking day.
Those calling for later retirement ages are not the ones like myself who worked in a steel melt facility my entire adult life. I started at age 18 years and 3 months, and spent over 35 years making steel for the remelt industry.
Much of my time there was spent doing pretty physical labor, although the high quality steels we made called for a lot of mental capability in areas such as simple algebra and such. So by the time I was in my mind 50's, my body had pretty much worn out. To even consider working another 20 years doing such hot, heavy and mentally taxing labor was simply not in the cards. Did I mention the fact that temps on the air melt side of the shop in summer were over 150 degrees?
I say air melt because we also melted up to 20,000 pounds of metal under high vacuum, for the aerospace industry. Think Rolls-Royce jet engines, etc.
Phil, Yep! They've NEVER done a day of hard labor in their entire lives. Pen and paper pushers. Romney, of all the parasites, has the gall to say this. He's so disingenuous...and I'm being far too kind in using that word to describe him. MF'ing Cocksucker are the words.
Pigpen 51, Exactly. None of these people have spent a day working in industry or factory as you have and what you describe. And they want to force people who are in tese industries to work another 10-12 years? Fuck them. I worked college summers in a mill that had a giant tubular kiln. If it wasn't 150 degrees+ in that building (half the size of a Super Target) it was damn close. Every day leaving work from that area all clothing soaked like you emerged from water.
Nice hearing from you! MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY, HEALTHY 2026!
