Following Elon Musk’s $44 billion Twitter deal, celebrities have been quitting the platform in protest of the takeover, so here’s a rundown of who’s exited so far.

Not everyone is in support of Musk’s takeover, so much that users have been quitting the platform, including a few verified celebrities.

UPDATE: King’s profile is now accessible again, since Tuesday morning (26 April). He has rejected claims about the deletion, stating that his break was to protect his account from alleged “death threats and hack attempts”.
Yeah, sure, Shaun was getting death threats and attacks from hackers. Sure, Shaun, sure.

Left-wing activist and author Amy Siskind told her 550,000 followers that she is considering leaving the social media site.

“People need to understand that this is no longer a public company. Every post you make here is free content to enrich one man, Elon Musk. He is completely in control and answers to no one. I don’t view him as a mentally stable person,” she also wrote.
Yvette Nicole Brown, an actress associated with Disney, said she would join a platform called Counter Social. “I’m leaving too friend. I joined a site called [Counter Social] … it appears to be fighting against what @twitter is about to become,” she said.
