Mr. Big Stuff singer Jean Knight dies; age 80.

Daily Mail: Mr. Big Stuff singer Jean Knight has died at the age of 80 from natural causes.

Mr. Big Stuff hit the number two spot on  Billboard Hot 100 chart upon its release.

It spent another five weeks in the top spot on Billboard Soul Singles chart.

Knight got a Grammy nod for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female for the track.

'New Orleans and her global fan base join together in gratitude for the indelible mark she left on the world,' her family said.

Kool & The Gang Drummer George Brown Dead at 74.

Breitbart: Brown, who had been battling stage-4 lung cancer, died at his house on Thursday night, a representative told TMZ.

“When asked to describe his music, Brown always replied, ‘The sound of happiness[.]”, the rep added.
