You Wear It Well by Rod Stewart, from 1972's Never a Dull Moment.
A comment at teh You Tube video caught my eye:
That snare sound. You would not record drums like that now, but its perfect here.
Yes! The snare in this song is solid AF! Depending on the band/artist, a snare would work today, I think.

"Dirty Weekend" by Rod Stewart, from 1978's Blondes Have More Fun.
Some people pass on Stewart and R&R, but the airplay went to his more Pop-style hits than R&R/blues, much which received no airplay. People forget about him and "Faces". His early solo years share a common sound to The Rolling Stones in those days. I'm sure each band influenced the other at times.

"Blondes Have More Fun" by Rod Stewart, from 1978's Blondes Have More Fun.
A bit odd, for Wiki to describe this album as Stewart's first foray into disco. The album really isn't disco (aka soundtrack to "Saturday Night Fever" is disco). I'd put the song "Blondes Have More Fun" more closely related to Rockabilly than disco. But what do I know?
