Tina Phan, 18, plead guilty on Thursday at Burwood Local Court to internally secreting hundreds of pills to sneak into the Knockout Games of Destiny Festival in Homebush in December.

Phan was attending the all-night dance party when a friend of a friend offered her money to internally secrete the hundreds of MDMA pills into the festival[.]

A Lethbridge police officer who allegedly used a truck to euthanize a deer has received death threats[.]

“The police officer responded and killed the deer in an incident that was partially recorded by a bystander on cellphone video,” the news release states.

The video shows a police truck repeatedly running over a wounded deer on a city street.
I can't imagine anyone driving over an injured animal in order to euthanize it. I'll keep an eye out for future news on this story. The compassionate thing to do, as terrible as some may find this, is shooting the injured animal in its head.

Oregon has no duty to protect natural resources as part of a public trust, according to a state appeals court Wednesday, tossing claims that the state hasn’t done enough to stop climate change.

Two teenage girls sued the state in 2011, in one of the first of flush of suits using a novel legal approach to challenge government inaction over climate change[.]
