Saw the below of Elon's rebranding Twitter's symbol to an X, ditching the Blue Bird, but don't have Twit so can't dig deeper there. Can't find much searching other than wild conspiracy theories (and readers know I don't go there) floating around that Elon is/isn't a Freemason.

All five victims, in their 60s and 70s, had weakened immune systems, officials said.

MSN: Urgent recall issued on mayonnaise over risk of listeria infection: 'Do not consume'.

Potts Partnership Ltd has issued a product recall for their Potts' Truffle Mayonnaise due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, a harmful bacteria, found in the product.

The Sun: Urgent ‘do not eat’ warning over mayo sold at Lidl amid fears it may be laced with deadly bug.

A BATCH of mayo has been slapped with a “do not eat” warning because it may be laced with a deadly bacteria.

The food safety watchdog announced Potts Partnership has urgently recalled a Potts’ Truffle Mayonnaise batch sold at Lidl.

Not in any way am I minimizing or mocking three deaths or anyone ill from this. The point, if you don't yet get it, is occurances and recalls like this happen, mostly with food products, on a weekly basis. Yet, young, healthy people who've taken the covid mystery shot and boosters develop myocarditis and other short and long-term health problems and the mystery shot is still on the market with a huge push for even more jabs. The mystery shot is the first and only medicine developed that has absolutely NO side effects. 

Interesting that the WSJ story notes, "all five victms had weakened immune systems." But were they vaxxed? We'll never know, they will never tell us.

It's like obituaries now state: "Cause of death was not disclosed and the family has asked for privacy." Oh...so...it was the mystery shot? No? Yes? "You're not allowed to ask this question or know the answer. Shut up, roll up your sleeve and take Booster #8!" Or is it Booster #9? I've lost count.

The HunterBurger! Meth is the secret condiment!

News 19: Man arrested after meth found in hamburger.

The Lauderdale County [Alabama] Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says a man was arrested Saturday after a traffic stop led to deputies making an interesting discovery….methamphetamine inside the man’s hamburger.

According to the sheriff’s office, the deputies determined that Timothy Nolen, the driver of the vehicle, had a revoked license and the vehicle was impounded per regular policy.
[.]
During the inventory of the vehicle, LCSO said that Nolen said he was hungry and just wanted to eat his hamburger. According to a statement by the sheriff’s office, however, when deputies checked the burger they found more than an all-beef patty on the toasted bun.

“Unfortunately, the burger contained more than lettuce and pickles,” LCSO said on social media. “Deputies retrieved a small bag of Methamphetamine.”

The sheriff’s office said after the find Nolen was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving while revoked, and having a switched tag.

“We’re going to have three bugs out there, three viruses: Covid, of course, flu and RSV,” [Dr. Mandy Cohen, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] said in an interview. “We need to make sure the American people understand all three and what they can do to protect themselves.”

Spread of all three respiratory viruses is currently low, but the CDC has begun to detect slight increases in positive Covid tests and Covid-related emergency department visits. And the decline in Covid hospitalizations has stalled.

Omicron XBB subvariants remain the most prevalent forms of Covid, though on Wednesday, the World Health Organization identified a new XBB version, the EG.5, as rising in prevalence around the world and in the U.S.

This means that many Americans will be urged to get three different vaccinations this fall: Covid, RSV and the annual flu shot.

“We’re going to have to learn how to deliver those vaccines in a way that’s effective in actually reaching the population at a time when there’s already vaccine fatigue,” [said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious diseases expert and professor of preventive medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center].

Some may be wary of getting three shots at once, a concern Schaffner echoed. Combining flu and Covid vaccines doesn’t appear to reduce the effectiveness of either shot, but Schaffner said that there is limited data suggesting that adding the RSV shot to the mix lessens the response.

“I think most of us are going to recommend it’s OK to get flu and Covid vaccines together, but wait a bit until you get the RSV” shot, he said.

"What they can do to protect themselves." Pretty much ignore all of the fearporn and do the opposite of what government agencies and NGOs suggest. 

These people - all of them - are suffering from a severe, incurable mental illness.

...the Houston office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives tweeted a photo of ATF Austin agents at the gun range that appears to show an agent on the wrong side of the loading table with at least one gun pointed at him.

The Twitter-sphere lit up with Twitter users mocking the photo.

Who has "Mysterious Disease from a North African Country" on their July BINGO Card?

RT: ‘Mysterious disease’ prompts checks on flights from North African country.

Russia has introduced stricter health checks for travelers arriving from Egypt, the Russian health watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, announced on Monday. The traditionally popular tourist destination for Russians reported an outbreak of a yet-to-be identified disease over the weekend.

Some 250 cases of the illness were registered in Qena governorate, Upper Egypt, the country’s Ministry of Health and Population said. All patients suffered from mild to moderate symptoms, with none of them requiring hospitalization.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population has reported 67 cases of a mysterious disease causing fever and fatigue in Qena, it said on Sunday.

"In light of the current situation, Rospotrebnadzor has tightened sanitary and quarantine controls with respect to flights from Egypt, including using the Perimeter automated information system," it said in a statement reported by the Russian news agency TASS on Monday.

Symptoms include body aches, fever, and, in some cases, vomiting and nausea, according to Assistant Minister of Health for Preventive Medicine Affairs Amr Qandil.

The Russian watchdog said symptoms of the disease resemble those of dengue fever, adding that it is in contact with the Egyptian side and international organizations to learn more about the disease.

AC/DC take a trip down memory lane in their new video for “Through the Mists of Time.” The song appears on the group’s 17th studio album Power Up, which arrived last fall.

The concept for the novel new clip was conceived by Angus Young. Director Najeeb Tarazi and creative director Josh Cheuse spliced together footage of each of the five bandmates filmed separately in different parts of the world, weaving it alongside photos and shots from performances through the years. Set in a museum — which features classic paintings along with new ones of the band as well as posters and other memorabilia — it also includes a virtual performance.

They were never physically together for any of the video. Crazy! Creative and impressive. How many miles of cable laid down over the past 50+ years for their concerts and videos? That alone blows my mind.

James Spader's The Blacklist ends 10 season run.

If you haven't yet viewed Thursday's Final 2 Episodes Finale which concluded the ten year run of "The Blacklist," SKIP reading this post.

Ten seasons,  we never missed a live, broadcast episode; except I did miss one episode the first season which was the only season I recall having some reruns. So I caught the rerun prior to the next new episode. 

Thursday night's Finale? For me it was expected, but not. Fitting and in keeping with the Reddington character, yet, not really. But definitely par for "The Blacklist" course. Is Red dead? Maybe. Maybe not. 

Entertainment is subjective. For me, The Blacklist ranks right up there with The Sopranos (best series ever), Weeds, Black Mirror, The Prisoner (original series) The Rockford Files and ZNation.

Cinema Blend: James Spader Reveals How He Feels About The Blacklist’s Ending.

Hard to believe 3-4 other actors were considered to play Reddington before Spader, among them Keifer Sutherland who turned it down. Now that it is, it's impossible to imagine any other actor portraying Red than Spader.

The Ending. Bail now if you don't want a SPOILER. 

The initial hook of The Blacklist, for me, was Spader, the story arc of The Global Cabal and the Fulcrum, and anytime Spader as Reddington shot or killed somebody. 

The supporting cast and re-occurring characters are fantastic. Few long-running series manage to continue excellent standards of writing over multiple seasons. The Sopranos and The Blacklist are shining examples. 

It was a fitting ending. It worked.

In the meantime...

... Will be closing shop here again (go private a bit longer) and working on the garage project. It is getting organized. 

But then...there's - - - - - arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh - - - - a basement room that's next. I figure I'll be back publishing on a regular basis sometime around the 2028 election.

I can't (yes, I can) believe all the stuff we (many of us) accumulate over the years. Why didn't someone warn me when I was younger not to do this? Dad?!?!?!?!!!! Dad was a chucker, not a saver so I must take after my Mom. Mom!?!?!?!?!!! 

It's not a hoarding thing, it's, "why are we saving something we haven't used in over 10-30 years?" The universal answer to this is, "within a week from throwing it out you'll find you or someone else need it or some part of it." Fact Check: True. ✅

In a June 7 session in the Pennsylvania State House (later Independence Hall), Richard Henry Lee of Virginia presented a resolution with the famous words: "Resolved: That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved."

And to those who served or currently serve in any branch of the U.S. Military, who served to protect our freedoms and who put their lives on the line for our freedoms, this day would not exist if not for you. God Bless you.

Remember those who, for whatever reasons, cannot be with those they love today (and every day).
